What a pleasant surprise to find a great coffee shop on the way back to Cambria after a hike near Harmony. The coffee was excellent and they even had my favorite- a mixed berry scone!

Absolutely the best coffee I've had in years. Cute little shop with handmade jewelry also

You don't find Morii Coffee--you feel it pulling you in before you even realize you've stopped. Nestled in the near-mythic stillness of Harmony, California--population maybe eighteen on a busy day--it's less a destination and more a portal. A micro-roastery tucked along the side of the one road you were probably about to miss. But if you do turn in, you're stepping into something sacred. Something handcrafted. Something intentional. The logo itself sets the tone: an infinity symbol that doubles as an eye. Not by accident. There's presence in it. Observation. A wink to the eternal and the intimate. You step inside, and the space breathes with that same balance--minimalist, local, warm. There's bass in the air, music that hums softly through the room, bouncing off the wood and concrete like it's been living here longer than you have. Nothing harsh. Nothing hyped. Just tuned-in. And then there's Hunter. He's not a barista. He's not a server. He's more than an owner. He's a steward of flavor and focus. You watch him work and it's like watching a ceremony--efficient, but never rushed. Each drink is made like it's the only one that matters. Not performative. Just present. When he prepares a matcha, for example, you'd swear it was a kind of meditation. There's this quiet discipline to it, like watching someone fold origami or tune a violin. Not just making it--but becoming part of it. Hunter roasts his own beans, too. Not in some backroom warehouse or outsourced blend. Right here. Small-batch. Home-baked-bread kind of small-batch. You taste it immediately. The coffee lands on your tongue with precision--never too acidic, never burnt, never bland. It carries itself with a kind of calm authority. Balanced. Tender. You don't sip it so much as you let it arrive. There's no shortcuts at Morii. The syrups are made in-house. The ingredients are real. Every component in the drink is in agreement with the others--like the flavor had a meeting before it got to you. No odd spikes or artificial hiccups. Just smooth, harmonic resonance from start to finish. And yet, none of it feels pretentious. Quite the opposite. There's a kind of humble elegance to it all, the way great art or a handwritten letter can feel. You get the sense that Hunter isn't trying to wow you. He's just trying to serve you something true. That first sip? It's like a welcome. Like someone saying, "You're here now. Settle in." It's not just good coffee. It's personal coffee. The kind you remember by the way it made you feel seen. So if you ever find yourself cruising the Central Coast, lost in thought with salt air in your lungs, and you spot the blink-and-you'll-miss-it sign for Harmony--don't blink. Turn off. Slow down. Step into Morii Coffee and let the ritual unfold. This isn't a coffee shop. It's a sanctuary in a mug.

Harmony is a village you pass on highway one when you're going to Big Sur or the 46 wineries. It's approximately a couple blocks with a food truck, glass blowing shop, pottery shop and .. Morii. I'd been enjoying their beans at another coffee shop down the coast. But going through the doors of this tiny coffee shop, you encounter the coffee beans being processed which is very sexy. They serve pastries you can have with their delightful coffee. The staff is welcoming, warm and ready for questions about their coffee menu. I'm a mocha gal myself and it's lovely. You can a beautiful balance of espresso bite and warm chocolate which is gorgeous. No asking if you want whipped cream. Yay.

Two divas made my coffee and they ATE DOWN! The coffee is delicious and they have such unique and fun flavors. Will be returning to try the other lattes and get more beautiful latte art- shout out to the baristas

Organic! Located in Harmony, behind the creamery, is Morii Coffee. We went to Harmony for the ice cream, but my daughter wanted to walk around, and stumbled on this tucked right around the corner. Perfect opportunity it grab some espresso beans, since I was almost out. Right when you walk in, you're greeted by the owner and large bags of Roasted Beans! Pure Coffee Lovers Vibe! It's awesome that he roasts in house and gets his pastries from a shop in Morro Bay. He also makes in house syrups. When you buy a pound, you get a free drip. It was the most full body drip I ever had. Now, this morning I finally tried the espresso in my DeLonghi. Just beautiful. Deep taste of coffee, roast, slight bitterness, bakers chocolate, richness and a nice dryness finishing. Awesome job and will definitely be back.

Triple vanilla latte using house made syrup. Fabulous!

Best coffee shop I've ever been to. Delightful drinks and pastries, plus a really cool atmosphere with an in-house roaster, fresh rotating syrups and platform for local business (which was for Big Sur jade when I went). Plus, dog friendly and great, kind baristas! Please try their London fog with the house made vanilla... it was SO good.

I've been to Harmony a few times but never stopped in here. So glad I did this time! The coffee was excellent I got a macchiato but latte style either a little bit more milk in it. It was delicious and one of the best cups I've had in a long time. I also bought the dried apricot flavored coffee beans but haven't tried them yet but I'm sure they are great. The coffee shops is quaint and inviting you can sit outside o the garden with your coffee and croissant. The staff was great-so friendly and accommodating. After every made my coffee the hubby and I talked with them for a bit and they made it extra special for our anniversary. Definitely will be back!

i would love to come back here if i'm in the area again! my iced vanilla latte was one of the best i've ever had. pretty empty in there as the town has a population of 18 but really good drinks. loved to look at the jade on display there as well

The coffee here is excellent. Grab a cup and walk around the little town of Harmony. Say hi to the big puppy dog and take a seat in the beautiful courtyard. I tried the special and I'm still thinking about it!

My favorite coffee shop on the central coast. Hidden gem. The quality of coffee, both roast quality and brew quality is second to none. Highly recommend stopping through Harmony or even making the drive from slo for a beautiful cup of joe. Also, Nate the barista knows his shit.

As the other reviews said it was worth to try their coffee. I ordered Vanilla latte and my husband got Maple Dates latte. They both were so delish! The staff were friendly and nice. The ambiance was cute cozy vibes. Highly recommended.

When in Harmony we have to stop by and grab some of the most delicious coffee. They are always super friendly and the coffee is always fresh and delicious. Love to hang out pet the pup, smell the fresh coffee and relax.

In a world where restaurants and coffee shops can be wildly inconsistent, this place just keeps showing up and doing what it does best. My go-to is always the Baja Mocha. At this point, it's less of a coffee order and more of a long-term relationship. It's rich, smooth, perfectly balanced, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting. Every time I tell myself I should try something different, the Baja Mocha gives me that "Don't be ridiculous" look, and I happily order it again. A visit also isn't complete without grabbing a pound of whole beans to take home. That way, I can continue pretending my kitchen is a quaint little coffee shop instead of just... my kitchen. The café itself has a ton of character. It's on the cozy side, which means it can fill up quickly, especially during busy times. If you're looking for acres of seating and total silence, this probably isn't your spot. But if you're looking for exceptional coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and a place that feels like a true local favorite, you'll understand why people keep coming back. The staff is always entertaining in the best possible way. They're friendly, have personality, and somehow manage to keep things moving even when the place is buzzing. It's the kind of coffee shop where the people behind the counter seem like they're genuinely enjoying themselves, and that energy rubs off on everyone else. If you're passing through Cambria or lucky enough to live nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Just don't blame me when the Baja Mocha becomes your default order too. I tried branching out once... the Baja Mocha and I worked through it.

The service was not very efficient with the crowd. The barista asked many questions (decaf or regular, oat milk, whole milk, 2%, almond milk, which coffee bean, etc.), which made the line move very slowly. She also had to stop taking orders halfway to make drinks, making the long line to get even longer. There wasn't enough seating, so we decided to take our food to go. They can't help warm up our pastries and directed us to use the microwave and toaster oven ourselves. For the price of the pastries I paid, I expected better service rather than DIY. When the coffee was ready, they did call names but the place was so crowded, we all had to wait outside of the cafe. So many of customers had to come in and out several times to check on their orders. The coffee was also extremely hot and not drinkable right away. Overall slow service, crowded environment, messy flow. I wouldn't come back.

This place is 100% the spot to go for breakfast/brunch if you're a tourist in the area. You wait in line to order, then get a number and find a seat. I came around 9:10AM on a Saturday and waited in line for ~25mins. You definitely need to come early, because the line only got longer after I left around 10:30AM. Their specialty is the blue corn waffle/tortilla. I recommend ordering one of each just to try every menu offering. The wait after ordering was about 15min. The waffles came out perfect, and the color and presentation made them perfect additions to your foodie photo album. The tacos were solid, but the blue corn tortilla flavor was a lot less noticeable. I would still recommend ordering at least 1 taco just to try it out. For a part of 2, 1 waffle and 2 tacos or 2 different waffles are more than enough to satisfy your breakfast/lunch stomach. Water is self serve, and service is super friendly. The weather was super nice when I went, but make sure you grab a spot in the shade or you will start sweating! I would also recommend bringing a hat or sunglasses since some seats are positions in that the morning/lunch sun shines directly in your eyes.
