    German Sausage
    Arin N.

Good family restaurant with delicious items on their menu, great quality if ingredients and fair price. It was our first time there and we tried their German sausage and it was great. Service was good. They asked us to stay and have our food at their place while it was almost closing time. This is no a fancy restaurant but a good quality family restaurant that serves its community. Recommended

10/10. First time im so embarrassed this gem has been down the street! Delicious!

I know my Yelp Friends probably assume that because of my amazing personality and zest for life I'm constantly going out and trying new restaurants. If you believe that I have taylor swift tickets to sell you for 5 dollars. Today my cats and I decided we wanted to support a mom and pop business for our pizza craving. I can't believe I've been driving by it for the last 10 years and never ordered but I literally rarely go anywhere unless its vacatio and work, hence my embarrassment for my first order here. I ordered the vegetarian pizza and I didn't make any modifications because I wanted to see what they were going to provide. Its as though they went into my brain and picked every single vegetable that I love on pizza and it was served hot and absolutely delicious. They have a very extensive menu filled with sandwiches and other delicious items which I'm looking forward to trying soon soon.

Good spot for a quick bite. Note: they no longer serve breakfast. If you saw pics of their good looking breakfast burritos on here - those are no longer on the menu. I've heard great things about their sandwiches but I've only had their pizza. GOOD pizza. The bbq sauce is a bit watery on the bbq chicken pizza - that's my only note for improvement. What I've had and liked: pepperoni, cheese, bbq chicken, and Persian pizza.

Ambiance: lively music plays inside. Nice interior for a dine-in. Service: very nice and courteous staff, my pick up order was ready by the time I arrived there. Food: I ordered the polish sausage sandwich. The bread was very fresh and warm, and the perfect balance of crunchy and soft. The sausage is salty but the sauce and veggies add a good and refreshing balance to it. There's tons of cheese in there too. The sandwich itself is massive. Add jalapeños and ketchup or salsa verde (changes the entire flavor profile of the sandwich), sit back and enjoy every bite of it! Loved the food here, definitely going back.

Good pizza--about as "classic" as it gets. Meaning, imagine you're 6 years old and an adult asks you to describe pizza to them. That description you'll give and the taste and texture you picture in your head is the pizza you'd get here. And that's a good thing! Sometimes, we just want a good, quality, classic pepperoni pie without the frills, complications, and high prices of frou frou place. Their buffalo wings are good, too. Again, classic, messy, meaty, tasty buffalo wings that hits the spot. I like that this is an old school, high integrity place, with reasonable prices (even on the delivery apps). My 18" large pepperoni pie was $18. Nowadays, it's so common for restaurants to take advantage of Covid to charge $25-30 for pizza. I'm so glad Glenoaks deli had not fallen into this trap. I have been a long time customer, and I'll be back!

Omg. Stayed in Glendale to house /pet sit for a couple of days. So many restaurants and had a difficult time deciding on food. So glad I made this choice. I had been craving a pastrami sandwich for weeks and this did not disappoint. I was able to order via Yelp app and pick up my order withing 15-20 minutes. It was so delicious and I definitely recommend. First time having pickles on a pastrami sandwich and which added a good saltinesss to it.

    Pizza

Solid pizza pie. We got a large cheese and a large pepperoni pizza. As I do most places I asked them to make it well done, which usually works out very well and it did. I'm a big fan of Dave Portnoy and I think he would have rated it a 7.2 maybe a 7.3 I'm can usually tell what Davy is going to rate it before he says. This pizza stands up and is definitely one of the best pizzas in Glendale. I know that isn't saying much and it's not but it's pretty good for here. Definitely calling them again.

We ordered the Philly and Pastrami to split and share. We dined in which was among a few small tables situated between the shelves of well-lit and visually clean bottles of liquor. Service was friendly but nothing memorable. After about 10 minutes, both sandwiches were brought to our table. They were hot and came on toasted rolls. Not really sure what bread specifically but seemed a bit like French rolls. Crunch crusts with soft middles which helped to cradle the fillings and absorb the delicious meat juices. The pastrami was great and not overly salty. It had a great zing from the crunchy pickles and mustard. The Philly was nice and gooey. The beef had great texture and was dripping with flavor (literally). Both were very good but I personally liked the pastrami better. If you like meat though, neither will disappoint. We will be back to try the other sandwiches. The only down side to our visit was buying sodas at the store. Their prices weren't listed and in my head, I expected them to be $3 or so. The Mexican Coke and small bottle of lemonade were each $6. $20 for a sandwich isn't cheap, but it price didn't make me gag--but I almost physically gagged when i saw soda prices ring up. Next time, we'll get our sandwiches to go and get drinks elsewhere.

I have also tried the Lorri sandwich, which uses an eggplant cutlet to imitate meat. The balsamic flavor is pretty heavy on that one, since the tomatoes really soak up the sweetness.
