Try to come on off times as the parking lot can only fit about 6-8 vehicles. A sandwich (turkey pesto), chips and drink rang up at $20. Since we were splitting it's a decent cost for two people but a bit steep if eating solo. Drink fridge has a nice selection of options and they serve the kettle chip brand of chips. The star of their sandwich is the bread. The turkey was average but hit the spot as we were starving. Nothing memorable and I wouldn't feel compelled to order it again. Persian pizza is always popular, you can see the local support for this small business is high. Perhaps I just haven't found the right menu item to become a raving fan. Will likely be by again as its location is convenient but wouldn't go out of my way to make it a point to eat here if there were other options available. read more

I tried a couple different items last night: the Galaxy sandwich and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. The Galaxy was delicious with the piles of meats and fresh veg, but compared to the cheesesteak, I'm going with the cheesesteak as my fav. I did notice that, after the sandwich was unattended for awhile, one entire side of the bun went almost too soft from the toppings. It was still a great sandwich, though. The BBQ Chicken Pizza kind of fell flat with me. There wasn't a lot of sauce on it, and the BBQ sauce that was on there was a bit too sweet. There wasn't any depth to the BBQ sauce, it was just sweet. The cilantro was a bit bland and didn't pop on the pizza. But, I could see this being a good kid-friendly option. I ordered a small margarita pizza with sausage and pepperoni and an order of fries. Unfortunately, the pizza was overcooked and crunchy, hard to chew and bland. The fries just didn't have the right texture and flavor wasn't there. I'm not sure who dropped the ball but my food was cold when it was delivered. I have a theory. This is my go-to spot for sandwiches in Glendale. I've tried most of their sandwiches and they are all good. I really like the bread they use, even their wheat bread! Sometimes they have this white bread that has sesame seeds and for me that is the best bread they have. They are generous with the meat and the pickles they use adds something extra to the sandwich. They've also got really good pizza. In my opinion they're one of the best pizza spots in Glendale. Lastly, the service is always good. I normally go to Mario's, but they're closed for coronavirus so I looked around and found this place. I got the galaxy sandwich add avocado and jalapeños. It was really, really good. The bread is amazing and the portions of meat were quite generous although it's hard to tell in the picture (nothing worse than getting a giant sub and it's got like two slices of meat on it). The galaxy and the pastrami are the 2 we've tried and sometimes it feels like the large has more bread to meat ratio which turns it off for us a little. The small pizza is your standard size personal pizza. We tried the Persian pizza's which were delicious, but I felt like something was missing.
