Wanted to rent a tux for my son to look fly going to a sweet 16. Can't have my boy rocking an off the rack ill fitting suit looking like one of the Kings Of Comedy The event was a week away and they took measurements and had us out the door in around 20 mins. Gave us exactly what we asked for and had multiple options to choose from. They had the suit ready 2 days before the event which gave us enough time to pick up and make any changes. The fit was lovely I'm not sure how pricey it is compared to other spots but the fact that this place is local made it the go to. If you got it and need something quickly, is definitely worth it The return process is pretty simple. Put everything back in the hanger, even the shirt with the neck ring stains and turn it back in. We were looking for a two day rental for two back to back proms. We went to Men's warehouse but left because the place was mobbed and we didn't have an appointment. (we also waited too long) They have prom packages for $120, we would have had to pay a bit more for the extra day and two different colored vests. We decided to go Deluxe. We had extensive conversations with the owner about how we wanted color (not conservative) as part of the suit. We looked over colors and ordered a lavender vest (he had very few shades) and he didn't have ANY shade of green at all. Disappointed but late in the game, so we agreed to get one plain grey vest and one lavender to the tune of $326!!! Guess what, we get home, no lavender. It was written on the receipt and the person who picked it up said he mentioned it and he was getting the order so she didn't think to check. We paid almost double the price and got a bland grey suit. I called the owner to give him an opportunity to make it right and provide some portion of refund. He said no. Will not be going back here for our next event. My advise, go to Men's Warehouse but get an appointment. read more

By far the nicest owner i.have met. I read the other review and truly find it hard to believe. When I walked in the place was super busy and everyone was apologized to for the wait and couldn't have been treated kinder. Horrible experience As soon as I walked in with my grandmother, we were given a horrible look and stare by the man at the register. As I was discussing with my grandmother on what to pick out, the man looked at us from top and bottom and looked disturbed. I am a well respect leader in my community and I never felt more discriminated in my life. Customer service is poor and selection is small. The owner is an abrasive, ineffective communicator which no regard for the customer's experience. Example 1: an elderly man was trying on shoes with the help of his son. He appeared to be having a difficult time getting it on. The owner barks, "you know, it would be a lot easier if you stood up to put that on". It was clear that the gentleman was putting this shoe on while sitting because he was elderly and not that mobile. The right thing to do? If it would be so much easier/faster to put it on standing, then maybe offer him your arm to stand up and lean on you. Example 2: after the same patrons left the store, the owner said in front of me, "this guy's wedding is at 5, and there are 6 tuxes that need to be picked up. Unbelievable!" I agree, those tuxes should get picked up but, its Customer Service 101 to not talk about a good paying customer in front of another. Example 3: His son refers to him as the "expert" but instead of educating his patrons and helping them make informed decisions for their wedding day, he talks down to you. For instance: We indicated that we were interested in changing an order we placed the night before: black vest and tie to dark grey ones. He says, "I wouldn't have even chosen grey in the first place. Grey and ivory don't look good together." The night prior we were told to get ivory shirts to match the bridal gown. When we expressed that we liked the dark grey tux, no one said that that was a problem. However, after the order has already been placed, we're told it was a bad choice. What would an effective communicator/someone who cares about creating a good customer experience say, "It looks like you guys chose the ivory shirts. Typically we don't like to pair the ivory with the greys b/c it doesn't look as sharp as the white shirt does. Let me show you what I mean" (and proceed to show us the difference). Then explain, "So you have a few choices: -if you don't mind the dark grey and ivory together, then you can go with that, - if you want to do white shirts instead of ivory you can do that (although if your dress is ivory...that may make the dress look dirty), or - you keep the ivory shirts and consider a different colored tux." Instead, we left the shop for a second time, again second-guessing the order because we were presented with the issue today that the shirts and tuxedos we selected, don't match but not being consulted on how to remedy the issue. Lastly, the owner's son is an improperly trained consultant who while nice enough, also does not know how to educate patrons so instead doesn't say anything OR if present, will defer to his father. read more

The Other reviews are not fair. Myself & my groomsmen were well taken care of. I am a big size plus one of my groomsmen is 6'5" with a size 15 shoe. They fit him perfectly. In their experience they suggest the perfect tuxes for us. Sizing took all of 8mins. When it was time to pick them up. Fitting took even less time because they have the experience and know what they are doing. Excellent staff. I was very pleased with everything. Brand name tuxes, in great condition. Ok Ladies and Gents, yesterday was my cousins wedding... Me and my cousins/groomsmen had a great time but that's because we know how to have fun, now if you knew what we looked like you'd probably laugh, the fellas at this place were very impatient, they of course forgot my cufflinks, bow tie and the black buttons for the shirt. Excellent service! Had a family member arrive from PR on Friday to attend a wedding on Sunday of that same weekend. We read the reviews (especially the negative one) and decided to visit anyway. We visited the same day our family arrived and were in before noon. The owner received us, was very welcoming and had us out in 20 mins. Yes selection is small but in my opinion that works well when it's last minute. Owner was very knowledgable, new his colors and how to best match them but also respected our choices. In any event the combination we chose was simple, all black tux and black shirt with gold tie and gold vest plus the shoes. To top it all off the tux and shoes were ready by 2pm that same day, Friday. When we returned, the pants and jacket are all you're allowed to try on and they fit perfectly. The price was under $200...You can't get any better than that. The part about his son directing us to his dad is correct. He was the first person we met when we first inquired about their service the day before our family member arrived but we didn't mind. We were pleasantly pleased with his father who knows his work. I will definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back. Make sure to speak and only work with the owner. There is one other employee who wasn't so courteous to us (we were a group of 6). One of the members of my group was trying on jackets and the employee was a bit rude said he wasn't suppose to try them on. Said he was going to have to press them again. I never heard of a jacket getting wrinkled after trying it on and placing it back on the hanger. Anyway make sure you speak and deal with the owner. read more
