I've given this salon more than enough chances to get it right, and I'm officially done. Every time I've booked an appointment, I've still had to sit and wait 20-30 minutes past my scheduled time -- what's the point of booking if you're not going to honor it? The attitude from the nail techs is just as disappointing. There's no greeting when you walk in, just blank stares or eye rolls like you're an inconvenience for showing up. The energy is rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional from the moment you step through the door. I kept hoping things would improve, but it's clear this place doesn't value its clients or their time. Very unprofessional. Called and Made an appointment DAYS in advance, was told would receive a confirmation text, never did. Show up for appointment, the person I made the appointment with wasn't even there yet. Employees said that person should be here soon and to take a seat and wait. Other employees tried to call that person and they didn't answer, I told them I would come back later as I had other appointments to get to. 2 hours later I call to see if the person is there yet just told be told that person isn't on the work schedule for the day... Again, very unprofessional. the half decent price isn't worth the half decent service, take your money elsewhere! Vibe is off as soon as you walk in no wonder why the place is empty. Their under new management and its horrible! This was may regular shop until today. My manicure turned out ok , just ok a 55 dollar waste. And my pedicure was a joke to start i asked for hot water to only get Luke warm, at this point im done but allowed her to finish only to not have any soap or cuticle remover used. But the technician didn't understand me not wanting any lotion to finish and I paid her full price (55 dollars) because the first thing they will say is I wanted something for free. The service was not up to the In Style name I will not be returning, that will hurt more than me not pay you today and let me not forget when I called her out on this (no soap, no cuticle remover, no massage or nothing) she gave me 10 dollars off a 110 dollar bill. I hope that 100 was worth losing a regular client. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE This is the first nail salon that ruins my nails to this extent. My sister treated me to getting my nails done for my birthday. She made an appointment for 4PM on a Wednesday. We still waited approximately 45 min for our turn. All I asked for was gel. My sister's tech was able to finish a full set in 45 min and they looked fine. My tech on the other hand was new or something. I didn't get her name but she is the second station at the very front of the establishment. It took her three tries to get remotely close to what I asked for. She could have simply said she could not do the color I asked for. The person who sits right next to her had to guide her to using the right material to achieve what you see in my pictures. As soon as I told her I did not like how they were looking and to just give me a solid color, she snatched my hands towards her and violently removed the gel to the point where she was burning my nail beds. My cuticles were pushed back and dead trimmed to a painful extent. I just about walked out but instead bared the pain to allow her a chance to redeem herself. She took 1.5 hours to get me a basic gel color. She maybe gave me 2 layers of gel. 8 days later my natural nails are broken. All my growth has gone to waste. I've gone trucking with just my natural nail and gel overlay and have never had any problems. I now work behind a desk and can't possibly do anything harsh with my hands. This place is the worst. I went in for a pedi and dip manicure. I told them I was a little short on time so the lady started working on my nails during the pedicure. I asked specifically for my cuticles to be cut, not filed and she said ok. About a quarter of the way through my nails, she said she'd be back later...never did. When my time was running out, I let them know I really was going to have to leave soon and the tech told me he'd put the top coat of my toes on later while I was getting my nails finished. End of story...he never did and now I'm putting it on myself at home. Nails: she says she'll do my cuticles at the end (like How does that make any sense?) and starts the dipping powder without a base clear powder coat like I always get. So...she's dipping over my ragged cuticles which I know will just make the powder lift in a few days rather than weeks. Because she didn't do the base layer and only two coats of color, my nails are thin, cuticles never got cut and and one of my nails has broken...less than 12 hrs after they got done. I play piano so I do the dip powder bc it makes my nails thicker and more resilient. My nails are brittle right now. Cutting the cuticles after the color is done means you end up with a gap between the color and nail and that's a rookie and lazy practice. They didn't value my time, weren't busy and the fact that he forgot the top coat on my toes, but was on his phone the entire time made me angry. Oh and did they reduce the price because of unfinished nails and toes? Of course not. $91 bucks for something I have to have redone next week when I have time. I didn't tip and somehow feel bad because of it. Don't go here. Just don't. read more

My best friend then made an appointment for a pedicure for Monday. We got 2 text confirmations as reminders. They could not communicate why they took her and not me when we got there because of a language barrier. Someone was finally able to say one world. "Short" after I kept asking for a reason why I was just sitting on a chair for 30 minutes alone. So they were short handed and I didn't get any service. I had to sit and wait for my best friend to get done. I never got my pedicure. They should call their clients so we don't have to use our gas and time, just to not get service. I came here for a full set of acrylic nails. I got a short almond nails with one solid color. To start off they don't remove cuticles, *big red flag* as part of the acrylic nail prep should include cuticle removal. I asked her to please do so and she said it would be $10 more. Yeah that's a no for me. Second I had to correct the shape because a few fingers were short almond and some were short stiletto. Third, she cut me twice when she used the normal hand file to shape them after applying the acrylic. I brought it up to her and she didn't really seem to care or apologized. And to end it all, they charged me $70 ...... I've never paid $70 for short almond nails with one solid color. When I asked to explain the price she summed it up by telling me that if you get 1 centimeter of nail is $50, 2 is $60 and 3 like mine is $70. Like that whaaatttt ???? Short is short, medium is medium and long is long. Lmao so there's levels to short. Save your money and don't come here. Vibe sucks anyway. read more

I've been going to this salon for over 12 years. They like to book you and then when you arrive they tell you "you don't have an appt or they are 30-40 mins behind, so they can pawn you off to another person. Jan is super rude and will tell you she won't help you because they over book and they put blame on the client. It's now under new ownership but new people take almost 2 1/2 hours for a full set and design!! Excruciating experience! So much for relaxation. Kevin I think is his name booked me for an appointment for a pedicure and with "Jan" but when I arrived I was on the pedicure chair for 1/2 hour and Jan came up to me and told me to my face "I am not going to help you!" She was already booked, I guess! Jan is super rude and doesn't care if she is! BTW my pedicure chipped by the first week. I asked for Jam because last time I got a new person I got lifted nails and water got under them which created a fungus!!! They won't take responsibility and treat you like it's your fault! Then when Lilly did my new full set she will tell you "you need a new full set at least every 6 weeks!!!" Pedicure was 100% fail!!!!!!!!!! FIVE STARS FOR IVY! I recently moved back to Las Vegas and found out my nail lady, Ivy, no longer worked at the place I used to go to...bummer right? I thought so too, until I came to find out that Ivy works at this salon! I was thrilled to have tracked her down! Ivy was my go-to for years before I left. It was really easy to call and make an appointment. I called and was actually able to make a same-day appointment for a gel manicure. I got to the salon 5 minutes early & was able to see Ivy right away. My daughter tagged along and was able to get her nails done too. Ivy is careful and very detailed to make sure you are satisfied with your nails. I typically saw Ivy every 3 & 1/2 weeks. I know what you're thinking..3 & 1/2 weeks is pretty long considering people's nails grow quick, buuuut they never lifted or chipped! Her work really shows just how skilled she is.
