ZERO STARS- DO NOT GO HERE I took a break from nails and I am ready to start getting them done again. First, I tried to look up the website for services and PRICES and it said "Under Construction" (That should have been my first clue) So, I just walked in because I read a lot of the reviews on Yelp and they all seemed pretty good. As the reviews say, 2 people work there. When I looked around NO PRICES! So I ask the female and she looks at the male. He proceeded to help and I asked for a price sheet of services and how much for a full set. As he gives me quite a few "ummmms" I pull up a picture from Yelp review of what I want. He said $55 then $50 for reg polish. I say gel..he says "ummmm "$65. I then ask do I need to make appt. He says yes because we are busy. I ask for availability for 5 days later before my vacation and....page in book is BLANK! Then, I ask, how much for a fill, and they both go back and forth multiple times speaking their language and finally say $35. By now I'm pissed and he says what...tooo much? At that point I was DONE! The co-owner Mike is extremely rude. My technician Van was quite talented. On my fifth visit I was greeted by Mike with a nasty hello. Initially, he refused to schefule me with Van as requested. He said scheduling was a problem since they only had two technicians and I would have to take whomever was available. From that point I booked my appointment for the store opening. My nail technician is amazing but I can't put up with rude, arrogant treatment. There are too many salons in town to be denigrated by a man who doesn't appreciate his customers. read more

I had a stressful day at work and noticed that my gel polish was peeling on my nails. Of course, I couldn't just let it be, I peeled it. I then looked at my calendar and realized I had an important (and in person) meeting the next day. I looked on Yelp and found LV Nails, which was open late and reasonably close to home. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day, which was a good start! I arrived for my 6 pm appointment and was greeted and directed to the wall of polish colors. I settled on a blue color and was seated with Don. Don and I made some small talk as he did my nails and he took the time to ask me what shape I wanted and to get my nail length right. However, he was also pretty quick, so it didn't take too long. I love having my nails done, but hate the act of getting my nails done, so that's perfect for me. I docked a star because, while my nails look good, they're starting to lift after just over two weeks, which isn't cool since my set of nails is fairly new. I have never had such rude service until I came to this salon. After 35 years of getting my nails done, I moved so I needed a new location. 1st -I had to come back after I had my nails filled because one of them lifted after a few days. I waited an hour and a half for a repair. 2nd- The business cards have a credit system on the back. I noticed that I was not getting punches for my previous fills. I asked the owner about it. He said the cards are expired ( they are on the counter) and no longer good for punches. Now they do the punches by computer. I was not aware that I was not getting points for them. (after so many fills you get $20 credit) When I first arrived at this shop, no one told me that you need to check in by computer for points. (THERE IS NOT A SIGN) So I asked about my points from my previous two fills. The male said you need to know how to do that on your own. I said there is no sign on your counter that tells me anything about making an account. So how was I to know? He said next time, I will put a note on the counter just for you so you don't forget. Seriously??? That comment was so rude!! Very poor customer service. I will not be back!! read more

Full manicure n nail design but the younger one who did myself and my littlest didn't give us a full manicure, no massage and wouldn't do a flower on my daughter and still charged us full adult prices. I went to this place for the first time because it was close to my home. My daughter and I just wanted perdicures. The price was normal, $30 for the spa pedicure. The techs were friendly, however didn't speak much English. The place was small, but clean. There were no clients when we arrived at 12 on a Saturday - which we thought was off. The pedicure itself was bad! First off, they lined their footstools with decorative rock, so when you are resting your foot, heel or both feet on it for them to work on you - it's uncomfortable and alamot hurts a little, mostly when it's the heel on it. The massage chairs were as comfortable as any other, but the massage rolllers barely worked so it wasn't very relaxing for that part. The gentleman that did my pedicure ripped into my cuticle so badly that it was bleeding and hurt the entire time. He then proceeded to use thecheese grater on my heels and I said didn't want that and he continued and said he'd go softer and isaid I didn't want it and then he cut into my heel and I pulled myfoot away and asked him not to use it! My heel is still very much in pain 2 days later and since I stand all day for work, this sucks !!!! The massage was the most ridiculous one ever... He literally put lotion on my legs then got a hot towel and wiped it off. Zero massage! I asked him.about it and he just said 'yeah I did massage', and i replied that he literally just applied lotion , and he just went on about drying my feet off. Meanwhile the other tech was well into ten minutes of a massage for my daughter ???? The lady that was working on my daughter trimmed her nails so crooked that she can't really fix it as it's so low on one side it is into her skin, so she just went home and filed the other side the best she could. Neither of us had polish well! Both on the skin and spots missing on the toes. Overall I do not recommend this place read more

I had the worst experience here. I just moved near this nail salon and needed to have my nails removed and a pedicure. I waited outside for about 5 minutes, went back in and a young lady started clipping my nails. After clipping she told me that the takeoff was $20, I said that was fine. She put my nails in the acetone and told me to let them soak for 15 minutes, about 5 minutes later, she grabbed her purse and walked out, without saying anything. After another 15 minutes a gentleman came and starting drilling my nails, he kept drilling and soaking each hand. After 45 minutes of this, he asked me to look at my left hand and said " we don't want to go all the way to your real nail" which I responded " I want all the acrylic off that is why I came" he acted annoyed and went back to drilling and soaking. I could tell he didn't know what he was doing by this point. He asked if I wanted him to cut my real nails down and I said no leave them and then he kept pushing me to cut them which I finally agreed to because I was in the for way longer than expected. He grabbed the nail clippers and said here? I said that's fine just don't cut my skin. He became aggressive and said " Tell me how long, I won't cut your skin" I said that's fine. He aggressively grabbed my hand and flipped it over, I pulled my hand back and said " Wait a minute, do not get rough with me" he continued on and after another 15 minutes, and the acrylic still not being removed, I put the $20 on the table, got up and walked out. A lady that works there yelled "hey you have to pay" I continued walking out. The monies were left on the table before I even got up. I will never come back to this location. read more

Frequent customer here but that may change after today. I was just in the other day (Friday) for a fill and I returned today Sunday because I'm not satisfied with the outcome of 2 of my nails. Tried something new and it didn't last 72 hours. I don't recommend the sugar looking glitter. I was told it would hold but my finger paint looks horrible. I know it's Easter but when I walked in asking for 2 fingers to be repainted I was told it was too busy. There was only one customer inside who was in a pedicure chair so how are you too busy? Wouldn't repaint my nail because the woman nail tech was not in. Great job guys. Definitely not worth coming back. And if you weren't supposed to be open on Easter you should've never opened your doors this Sunday to begin with. & heads up you'll get in one persons chair and play musical chairs your whole visit here. One person will do your acrylic the next will paint your nails. I prefer one person to start and FINISH the job. read more
