Met with Katharine yesterday for a mani (just regular) and a pedi with calus removal. She was FABULOUS! I got there at my designated time and they were ready to go. She took her time, was very friendly. The place is clean and neat. Total bill was $45 of course I tipped on that. They encourage you to pay cash The fact that you make an appointment means there was no waiting and no chairs filled with people waiting to get in. All in all a very pleasant experience and I will go back. This place is way better than Splash, domani and nail palace. I have been numerous times to all three of those over the past 10 plus years. I rarely do spa days or the basic mani/pedi, so when it was time to go on vacation I felt it was time for a pedicure. A friend whose opinion I hold high and always has perfect nails recommended Deluxe Nails and Spa so I had to come. Fortunately I was able to get an appointment right before my trip and am so glad. The nail tech who did my pedicure was absolutely delightful and took her time to patiently relieve me from my Shrek like status (j/k..a little) as I enjoyed the massage chair. Booked my appointment with my friend three weeks in advance, happy they could accommodate two people at the same time. My friend and I wanted to get our nails done for graduation and we couldn't have been more happier with the results here. The technicians were all very nice and kind. LeeAnn did both my manicure and pedicure, her attention to detail and care throughout was amazing. She always asked if I was happy with the length and color, which was really appreciated. I love this place. I've been coming here ever since they opened. Do not let the communication break down scare you away. They are awesome here. The staff is loyal. Virtually no turn around so you can really get personal service. This is the only place I've ever been satisfied with the pedicures I get in this area. It's clean and they are always adding new ideas for nails and staying relevant. If you want just a nail paint job all the way to having your bridal party here before the big day they do it all. This salon is very organized, efficient and clean because they don't take walk-ins. They allocate enough time for each customer and you won't feel rushed at all. Kay did my pedicure. Went there today for the first time and had a great experience! They seem pretty busy because I had been trying to get in all week but hadn't been able to find a convenient appt time. I got lucky today when I called and they had an opening. It's not a huge place but they weren't super full so it's a good size salon. Everyone who came today (Saturday) had an appt. They take walk ins but I'd highly suggest making an appt or at least calling ahead. I usually get gel polish done and it's the avg price $30. They have many color choices for ANC and gel, and the way they have them displayed make it very easy to look through. My manicurist was a man, the only one there and he did a great job. He was meticulous and made the extra effort to make sure everything looked good. I didn't really make much small talk (not really my thing) but he was nice and made sure I was happy with the service. I just moved to the area and even though it seems like there are a few good nail places, they all are always "booked." So, after driving around, I gave Deluxe a call and they fit me right in. Kay did a beautiful gel manicure, dare I say better than my previous place in Manhattan. I went to the salon to get my eyebrows waxed. I was very pleased with how they came out. I've been looking for a place that isn't expensive ($8) and would shape my eyebrows the way I request. The woman who waxed them took her time. She waxed them, then used scissors to trim and used tweezers. I will definitely go back. read more

Each time I had a pedicure or manicure here I ended up with some sort of fungal rash! The day after my first pedicure the bottoms of my feet were red and itchy. The second time I ended up with a black spot underneath my cuticle ok my pinky toe. I have never had anything like that happen to me any where else. One positive was that the manicures I got lasted longer than usual. However, I don't feel that this is the cleanest place you could go even though it seems clean from the outside. read more

They do a great job with your nails but they're horribly understaffed. If you don't have an appointment don't even bother going in there. I also notice that they treat their regulars like royalty so if you're a regular then that's awesome but if you're not, then expect to wait a while for a seat. read more
