Shoutout to the girl working that Saturday who answered all my questions about the different filled mochi flavors. They have a pretty decent assortment of Japanese snacks and candies, but of course come for the freshly made mochi. The texture is soooo soft and chewy unlikely the weird powdery texture of many other store bought mochi. My favorite was definitely the ichigo daifuku, although I do wish it came with a whole strawberry instead of just a small piece because the bite with strawberry was AMAZING. Second favorite is the peanut butter mochi and... I've already gone back just for those. They also sell plain komochi that you can eat fresh the same day or freeze and use later for cooking.
