I got my hair done by Tyler today and i am "In Love" with my hair color. After doing research for a Salon since i am new to California and Démarche Salon standing out with its 5 star review. I looked at the pictures and felt I would give this salon a try. From the minute i got there Tyler took the time to look at the picture i brought with me and discussed with me the hair color i wanted. He also took the time to explain to me what he will be doing to my hair step by step. Tyler is very respectful and makes you feel as if you are home. My end results is Amazing! This is the salon I have been going to since my birthday on August and I keep coming back every 2-4 weeks because I am obssessed with how soft and beautiful my hair turns out to. I always want to go here because Amy is an amazing & friendly hairstylist. I have never met someone who is erudite and professional as her yet laid back and honest. Not only did I find my "go to" hairstylist for life, but the salon is relaxing and the view outside is beautiful even on a rainy day. When you get your hair washed the chair is so comfortable you could fall asleep. The music they play is also great! I use to go to so many different salons but realized their services were poor quality.  Ever since I met Amy she has understood me and taken care of my hairs needs My hair use to be strong and thick but it was chemically and permanently  damaged from a lady who worked in Chula Vista and id go to many salons and they would dye it or put a treatment but it didn't really show any lasting result.  I use to cry about it and be upset trying to look for a place that can help my  "fryed" hair. Usually I would call a salon and they would be booked or they would just say "we can do a treatment"(um ok what kind of treatment?) and then they would tell me to "come in"....so I gave up.   but I called here and Amy asked the problem I was dealing with and she recommeded what would be best over the phone! I took a chance having felt that she was super nice and helpful telling me SPECIFICALLY what needed to be done (glaze ,cut,olaplex.) and my gut instinct was right Amy knows exactly what she is doing and she tells me what she is doing when she's fixing my hair all the time. She's also patient with you. She even shows -before and after pics- and normally salons will not show you that which is why I feel cared for because some salons dont show you the work they've done on their clients... Which is why this salons services are unique and I love it : ) My hair looked thin and dry before and now I am obssessed with coming here because I can see and feel thr CHANGES. My hair always looks healthy every time I come out of the salon. Amy is so knowledgeable in various subjects and an EXPERT at hair, she always answers ALL my hair questions whether I ask "can we can blonde my dark hair now" or "when can we face frame cut my hair?" normally I'd go to a salon and ask when to cut my hair and theyd say "now" and keep in mind my hair is already short and it would come out weird when they cut it or they cut it to short! But Amy tells you when to get it done and she would trim mine and everything would come out perfectly. I like that she understands what is best for my hair and tells me the TRUTH which is why I am a regular customer.... I am so happy I found her and this salon I can't stop telling my own mom about it. Ever since goin to Amy she has given me hope that my hair can still be strong and beautiful. Even the color she uses on me is so natural which is what I also love! I feel it is so worth it to come here.   I always wanted a hairstylist that would understand me and care for my hair and Amy is now my only hairstylist I trust ever going to! I can't wait to see how my hair will be in another year knowing it is already going back to it's natural state due to everything she recommends. I can't wait to do a sombre in the future. She knows exactly what I want and tells me how we will achieve it and what we can do at the moment that can enhance and help my hair. I can't thank Tyler enough for the amazing job he did on my hair. From the moment I walked in to his salon I immediately felt welcomed. Tyler and I went over photos to see what color styles I liked best. He explained how different hair colors have different undertones and what tones go well with my hair color. I've only colored treated my hair about 4 times in my life and this information was all new to me. Other salons that I've been to don't go over things like this, so this was a big plus for me. As for my hair, I've already gotten so many compliments and have noticed such a difference. It's feels lighter, softer, looks healthier, and for once I feel good about wearing it down rather than up in a bun. I'll be seeing Tyler again very soon read more

Tyler is very professional but still loves and has fun at his gift. I call this a gift because most hair dressers make this a job but Tyler truly has a gift. I had set up an appointment with Tyler for a full balayage and base after starting my hair journey somewhere else where I was not getting my desired results. From the moment I walked in and met him, he was super friendly and professional. He asked me what I was trying to achieve with my hair and let me know what options we had. Since my hair is naturally black, I kept hearing my hair would be totally fried by trying to go so light. But not with Tyler! During my appointment, he used Olaplex while lightening my hair and I also got an Olaplex treatment. Love love love Tyler! He's super personable and fun and easy to talk to -- hilarious too! He makes the process go by fast and really tries to make sure you're comfortable throughout the whole thing. I had tons of pictures that I really liked and Tyler managed to combine them all together to create the perfect color for me. I came in for a consultation a week before my appointment and at first I was anxious talking to Tyler because I wasn't really sure if he got what I was telling him, but I'm in love with my hair right now, and I know that if I ever decide for a different color, I'll go back to Tyler. It was such an amazing experience at demarche salon. I came in for a consultation a week before my appointment and Tyler was so helpful. We talked about what I wanted and he gave me his recommendations without diminishing my opinions. I fell in love with the atmosphere of demarche salon. During my hair appointment, there was no awkwardness between Tyler and I. Our convos made the 3 hour session filled with fun and time flew by. I got a haircut and color and I honestly fell in love. I asked for his recommendations and he definitely didn't fail my expectations. So if you guys want a haircut, you know where to come and who to ask for. And my color is absolutely amazing. Tyler is wonderful- listens to what you like and doesn't cut or style the way he wants. He asks a lot of questions and wants to understand why you like a certain style or color.
