We ordered 3 different pizzas,when we received them all 3 pizzas were burnt on the bottom and all the toppings on all 3 pizzas were hard. It seemed like they used frozen pizza and burned them all. Very disappointed especially for what they charged. read more

4.7 stars on the regular. The BBQ wings are a trend for us, and from time to time have been a silent competitor to the Taproom for best wings on the block, IMHO. The Sicilian Boneless have also been a favorite repeat order of mine for legit YEARS at this point. The blue cheese from DeMarco's is ridiculously delicious; as in - we sometimes order a pint of the dressing to keep at the apartment during salad-heavy meal plans. Also, I can't help but mention that DeMarco's Grilled Chicken Greek Tortellini Salad is my favorite salad to order for delivery from anywhere. Their Grilled Chicken Caesar is also pretty darn good, but once I started with the Greek, I rarely go with any other option. The pizza is pretty good; we like the six cheese and mushroom or going classic half pepperoni and half sausage. I've ordered sandwiches and appetizers from occasion and would say the Italian Mixed Sub and Chicken Fingers are my favorite choices to return to, often on Football Sundays. read more

On vacation in Schenectady NY and decided on DeMarco's Pizza because it was so close to our campground. In an older part of town, we parked on the street. A small pizza place, looks like the building was an old store at one time many decades ago. A carry out and if you want you can dine in at one of their tables. Very clean and organized considering its size. You check out the menu and order at the counter. Large cooler with ample choice's of beverages and 4 large already made pizzas, all different to choose from if you wanted a quick lunch or to take home a few slices. We placed our order with a very nice young woman at the counter. Sat at a table to wait for our dinner order to be brought to us. Steady stream of customers coming in to pick up their carry out orders and no doubt popular with the locals! Our Caesar salad was brought to us first with really good Italian bread and butter. That salad was huge and chilled and fresh with a great dressing and tasty croutons and ample shaved Parmesan cheese, it was delish, had some leftovers for home. Then that awesome, hot, delicious large Meat lovers cooked well down pizza arrived and it was piping hot and we wanted to jump in but had to wait for it to cool down a few minutes, then we dug in!! OMG, one of the best pizzas we have had the pleasure of eating, bar none!!! The pizza was delicious and the sauce and cheese perfect. Ample toppings and lots of cheese, we truly enjoyed our meal and had some to take home. Prices so reasonable for the Soda's, salad and that big pizza. You must try this place, highly recommend!! Blatant food safety violations abound. Their pizza is very inconsistent. Sometimes the crust is as crunchy as a cracker and I suspect it's stored at least overnight making the yeast inactive. The owner or manager always acts stressed out to justify rudeness. There is much better pizza available in a much more pleasant business. I suggest you try anywhere else. read more

A friend of mine boasted of the wonderful Antipasto she got from Demarco's in Scotia. So, while I was in the neighborhood one day, I picked up one said salad to go. It was everything she said it was. A fresh bed of lettuce and greens topped with mounds of salami, ham, pepperoni and cheese along with red onions, peppers, pepperoncinis, and I can't remember the rest. The quality of the food is very average. Pizza does not hold up on flavors, could be more exciting and something stands out. The sandwiches are average at best and the wings are low quality. The service is slow and does not favor the customer. For the 10 or so years that this place has been in service in Scotia, it still surprises me that people order from there. Mohawk Pizzeria (Route 5 Pizza) serves pizza (by the slice or whole pie), calzones, salads, subs, burgers, wings, fried seafood, Italian dinners, and Coke products from the cooler. The place is geared towards takeout and delivery with very limited seating (2 booths) in the waiting area next to the counter. I ordered the Chicken (Breaded Cutlet) Parmigiana with Ziti and the (6 Breaded) Shrimp Parmigiana with Spaghetti, which were baked and served round foil containers with garlic bread. I used an Entertainment coupon and the food bill came out to $9.26, a great deal. The portions of food were ginormous. The entrees had lots of melted mozzarella cheese, sweet tomato sauce with the pasta soft, a bit overcooked. The service here was good and quick. The food was ready in 10 minutes after placing the order. read more

we ordered pizza and wings from here and were told it was an hour for delivery but over an hour and a half later we had to call and see where our order was. when the order finally arrived the wings were freezing cold and the pizza was awful. the cheese was slid all the way off of one side of the pizza and the 12 cut was cut very oddly, 1/4 of the pizza was 2 huge slices and the rest were half regular size half mini size slices. it was very rushed clearly. just super disappointing. wouldn't recommend ordering from here. read more

I just finished the abortion that this establishment scammed us with. It was a walkin take out order! I ordered a tomato pie pizza, after viewing it in there slice case which is right in front of you when you order. I even asked questions with the young lady that was handling all the walkin traffic. Upon seeing the tomato pie on display, I enquired about it! I was told no problem its 30 minutes out. We ordered a 18" pie and 12 wings. What I received in my order was an 18" pizza doughcrust with the regular amount of tomato sauce that comes on any red sauce pizza, with a sprinkling of grated parmesan cheese! Not even a good fake substitute for a real tomato pie!! What's funny is that everybody that lives in the town spoke so well of this place. This is my second try of this place, neither experience will ever make me believe that this lives up to even marginal pizza! You guys were great until you started pre-making your dough. It just doesn't rise the way it did a couple of years ago and I suspect that's the reason why. Assembly lines may work for cars, not so much pizza. It's still decent, but with more effort and quality over quantity it could be great again. I'm hooked on the boneless wings but the buffalo chx salad seems to have gone down a bit too. Still a decent place with potential. read more

I have been ordering from here for 6 years. Normally in the "PAST" they have been GREAT, good prices, good service, great value for food. Then COVID hit, I understand we all went through alot. I still tried to order through them more. Now in 2022, I get we are Inflation crazy, but you can't lower your quality and amount of food you give and raise your prices.. Prices went' up about 30% and amount of food went way down. And the delivery is a "joke" as they say 45 minutes and then 95 minutes later I have to call and then 20 more minutes, food is here. read more

We've ordered here probably 12-15 times a year for the last four years, both off the regular menu and the catering menu. The pizza is about average for the area, although the crust tends to be a bit soggy (I usually end up crisping it up in a cast iron pan or in the oven). The biggest issue we've been having is with their delivery time estimates. They've occasionally been a little off in year's past, but our last several deliveries have been a half hour to an hour late. We will be trying to some different options next time. read more

I was about to give up .....First Time I've tried the pizza and it is awesome! Just the right amount of sauce and cheese and toppings the taste was good and I like the crust. The mozzarella sticks were good but I also prefer having raspberry sauce but that's OK they were still with the pizza sauce. I ordered a grilled chicken salad the chicken was still warm off the grill and the vegetables were very fresh and tasted good and not musty. Prices are reasonable delivery was fast.... Been ordering from Demarco's for a number of years. Their quality is consistent so you know what to expect. I usually order through Mealeo though I've stopped in a few times if I'm the village. The delivery drivers are always polite & friendly. Once, in all the years I've been ordering from them, the delivery took more than an hour. Usually it's about 30 minutes, 45 on the outside. Out of probably close to 100 orders, they messed up twice. Nothing that left us hungry, just special requests. I'll continue to order from these folks. The food is consistently good, the prices are very reasonable, and their delivery service is efficient and polite. I notice a complaint about the tip in a review. If you order through Mealeo you can adjust the tip at check out. The $1 delivery charge isn't negotiable nor should it be, it barely covers the gas to get here. read more

I ordered via Mealeo on 12/15. This was my family's second order from this restaurant. First order was fine, so when my go-to was closed, DeMarco's would do as an alternative. I ordered at 5:15, delivery happened at 7:15 (2 HOURS!). My husband and I both called the restaurant looking for our order. First I was told "on it's way!" So, ok no problem. 40 minutes later my husband is told that the restaurant didn't even want to make the delivery to our address (3 miles away) and refused to give any other info or even apologize. The driver eventually delivered an ice cold pizza and "hot sub", and cold soggy wings which were also packed in plastic with a cold Caesar salad. I'm sure the salad would have been fine except it was steamed by the hot food, and then driven around till it was lukewarm. (This is a food SAFETY issue!!) I asked Mealeo to remedy the situation; they contacted the restaurant which said the order didn't deserve a discount or refund, so if I wanted to "discuss it further" I had to personally hash it out with the manager Liz. If Demarco's didn't want to deliver they shouldn't have taken my order and money. If Liz think this experience and response represents good customer service, she needs to be retrained or find a new line of work. read more
