I ordered a custom Exile for my sons senior year. It was a $500 bat. After 2.5 months of use the end cap has started to come loose. I called to see if a replacement could be expedited as the playoffs start this Friday. I was told I'd have to wait for the bat to fully fail, file a claim, and send the bat in. Then in 2-3 weeks a new bat would be sent. The season will be over by then. Completely useless and no willingness to help or make it right. Just pathetic apathetic customer service. read more

When I got the bat, the first ball I hit in the cages popped off the cap as it was never glued on. When I called to get it exchanged, I was told I had to use the warranty instead. So I bought my nephew who plays varsity baseball a bat for Christmas 2022 which broke after very little use. We went through the process of getting a replacement bat which was under warranty in April 2023. Now it is April 17, 2024 and we have not received the bat. This is his senior season and he has been borrowing bats because he has been waiting and hIs season is over in a few weeks. The customer service and lack of communication has been a joke. Purchased a DeMarini "The Goods" bat in March of 2023 from Authorized Dealer, Better Baseball in Marietta GA. In 2nd week of January, during an indoor hitting session, the bat "Telescoped"- evidently very common problem according to representative from Better Baseball when I contacted them. I contacted DeMarini, bat was under warranty, sent it back, received confirmation that bat would be warrantied, only to be kicked down the road multiple times with excuses of why they have not either refunded us to purchase a new bat or replaced the bat... Now it is mid March of my son's senior season... still no replacement bat from DeMarini and no response in getting resolution. Will never make another purchase from this company again, and probably not from any of their parent companies either. read more

I inquired on the third day a tracking number. That's when they told me it was out of stock. Resupply July 1st. Called July 1st, now they tell me July 10th. I called into the Demarini support line this week to ask if the Ultimate Weapon https://www.demarini.com/en-us/bats/slowpitch-bats/2018-ultimate-weapon-slowpitch-softball-bat was end loaded like the Steel slow pitch softball bat https://www.demarini.com/en-us/bats/slowpitch-bats/2018-steel-slowpitch-softball-bat and was told yes, they are End Loaded the same. I spoke to a woman who had to check with someone else since she wasn't sure. I bought the steel slow pitch bat a month ago and since it was end loaded got a 26oz when I normally use a 28oz bat. Since she told me the Ultimate Weapon was end loaded the same, I purchased a 26oz Ultimate Weapon. When I got the bat this week, it is clear this bat is not end loaded. As soon as I picked it up it was obvious so I guess the she didn't have the bats in front of her when she was talking to me. So I have several problems with DeMarini: 1. Their website doesn't include this information though to softball bat buyers it's very important 2. Their customer support workers do not have the correct information about the loading of the bats they are supposed to support. 3. Since dealers and batting cages don't demo or rent this bat, I could not verify this information without ordering the bat and then I find out that the info I got from the manufacturer was wrong and am stuck with a bat I can't return. Consequently, I won't be buying anymore Demarini bats See the attached pix the prove the bats are not loaded the same. I will contact them next week and update this review afterwards. ------------ I contacted them and they apologized and exchanged my 26oz for a 28oz. Bought my 8 year old son a bat, my wife accidently ordered the adult bat. Called them 4 minutes after placing the order, not to cancel the order but to actually change the order to the more expensive youth bat of the same brand. The guy on the phone (Michael) said "I'll try to get it fixed, I see you just placed the order". My wife receives an email 2 hours later that unfortunately we can't cancel or change the order but here's your tracking number. So we just paid $250 for a bat my son cant even use and DeMarini doesn't give a fuck! I will never do business with this company again. These bats aren't worth the price because they don't last. One of my twin 8 year old boys broke one clean in half back in the fall. BC it was a month out of warranty, they wouldn't do anything about it. No way an 8 year old should be able to break a bat in half. They don't swing hard enough too and the pitchers don't throw hard enough at that age. this will be the last one I purchase for any of my 3 boys. Poor customer service too. They know they will break at some point and hope it happens out of the short warranty period. Marucci is a much better product with very good customer service In my opinion. read more

Good products but the worst customer service ever! Ordered a custom the goods bat paid there price, bat broke the second use sent in back they replaced it with a new one 6-8 weeks later. Second one broke just 2 weeks into the season, sent it back they kept it for several weeks, emailed me told me to send them the info for a new custom bat and the would send us a new one, I sent them a screen shot of what we ordered and the had the order form of what we ordered, then they said i needed to create a new order with a link, we did that and that link somehow was the voodoo bat not the goods like we ordered so instead of getting InTouch with us and see which one we wanted they just went with the voodoo which was an era and a less expensive bat, called in waited 58 minutes on hold just to speed with someone and was told sorry that's what the link said we went off that instead of your order and not the one you paid for. was told sorry your mistake not ours. so I paid $350 for a bat that cost $199 my son is in college and did love DEMarini bats but not any more we will find a different brand, take our advice look else were for your baseball needs!!! read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. In October 2022 we purchased the 2023 Voodoo One (-3) BBCOR baseball bat from DeMarini. We took very good care of it and in March, the knob on the end started to become loose. Surprisingly, several teammates of his were having the same problem. We sent it in with a claim to get a replacement. Keep in mind, we are in the middle of baseball season...my son's senior year and we have no bat. We received an email stating, "We have finished evaluating your claim and it has been accepted! You qualify for a replacement product from our website. Instead of a bat, we're issuing you a voucher code." There are NO bats in his size available and they aren't expecting any for months! I contacted customer service who basically told me we were SOL. So, my son who has committed to play ball in college next year and who is in the middle of his senior season has NO bat. Way to go DeMarini! Oh but he could get a customized bat in his size in a couple of weeks but the voucher isn't good on customized items. We have found the bat at a local store but they said, "Sorry. We can't do that." My son just wants a bat...I mean he is playing baseball and we are out the money we spent. read more

If I could give less stars I would. I ordered a Special Ops roller bag on Christmas day. The bag was to arrive Jan 3, 2018 by days end. The shipping company they used couldn't verify my address, so they've sent the bag back. I called Demarini customer service and they said their policy dictates that they cannot send out another bag, but rather they have to wait until they receive the initial package back (estimated date: Jan 10, 2018) and then do their "due diligence process" and make sure the package was not opened or damaged (approximately 5 business days) then they'll issue me a refund. A REFUND!? I want the bag!? In the mean time, I don't have the money or the bag and cannot go buy another one....this is very frustrating. They can physically see that the package never made it to me via the company they chose to ship with (UPS and it's tracking capabilities) and I just have to sit around!?? Customer service here is horrible! Ashley and her supervisor (also Ashley) both told me on the phone, "I apologize sir, there's literally nothing I can do, nor is there someone you can talk to here that will be able to do anything." Well, that's just great, isn't it! Demarini, for being a "local" company to the Oregonians, you sure don't take care of Oregonians like other businesses do....Once I get my money back, I'm sure I can find a different roller bag from another company just fine. read more

Purchased DeMarini Zen in Jan 2019 for my son, cracked 2 months into the season. Sent in warranty claim and was told they can't replace with a similar 30in bat because they are in the transition between the 2019's & the 2020's. So the soonest I would get the replacement is July 1.....when our season is 90% over. DeMarini's solution was to provide a size bat that is not the best fit for my player. So tough crap our product doesn't hold up, your best option is to take a bat that isn't the right fit??? I obviously started to get frustrated and the customer service rep apparently thought it would be good customer service to chuckle at my frustration. I really wish I could give DeMarini no stars because when I called today to settle the claim the new rep didn't seem much more empathetic to my issue as well. There are too many other good bat chooses out there to have to deal with this company. Sent my daughter's cracked bat to them in April, still waiting for warranty return. I call every other day and have talked to every CS rep that works there - all which are super nice but I've heard verbally and via email that they're shipping my bat out that same day....it's been 3 weeks. AT this point, I could spit nails! Integrity is huge...don't set an expectation if you can't follow thru with it, plain and simple. To all you consumers....good luck on getting return. My son has swung an Easton bat up until this year and never had a single issue! This year he decided on the DeMarini Zen Black as it was a popular choice amongst his team mates. He just got home from practice this evening, and his bat has cracked in multiple places for the 2nd time this season!!! Not only has this happened to his bat this season, but also 2 other team-mates that have the same bat. The first time we were lucky to have purchased at a big box retailer and had them do the return no hassle, we will see what process we have to go through this time, but according to the other team members that went through DeMarini it is a total paint in the @**!!!! If you want to sell your bat for this kind of money, I suggest that you up your quality to withstand a season of baseball at least! Great bats for the short time they last. I have invested in 3 bats the past year and not one of them lasted. The first bat I bought lasted about a year before it went dead. Then I purchased the Voodoo Insane for my son in January and it lasted 4 months before the bat broke. It broke mid-season and DeMarini has none in stock so now we have to wait until June 6th for them to come in which does us no good since his baseball season will be over. So when that bat broke I bought the 2020 Gattaca and it broke after 8 days. I asked for a refund since it only lasted 8 days and they told me no. They could give me another bat instead. No thank you! There policy sucks for a business that strives on being the best product on the market. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a bat! Save your money. I bought my son a DeMarini CF Zen for Christmas in 2017. In September of 2018 the bat cracked big time. I returned it under the warranty policy. They said he cracked it because he was to powerful for it and suggested I move up a size. After looking into things and doing some research i sent the bat back and allowed them to change it out for a bigger size. My son had this new bat for 5 tournaments and completely busted it one day at practice. I called DeMarini again. (5 tournaments really?) they said to send it back and they would get it taken care of because that shouldn't have happened. Well I got the old bat back yesterday with them saying sorry there was nothing they could do but offer me a coupon of 30 percent off my next Purchase. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT purchase a custom Demarini bat for any reason. I love Demarini product but they have possibly the worst customer service in the industry. Spend $650 and wait 9 weeks for your custom bat that breaks and chips after 4 uses and then get told that it will be another 6 weeks to get a replacement unless you want their standard bat and you can make up the cost difference in product. Why would anyone want to wear product that represents Demarini after their terrible experience with your customer service. We purchased the 2016 CF8 Junior Big Barrel bat (2 3/4) for my 9-year old son. After having it for only three weeks, he cracked it during BP while warming up for his game. DeMarini did replace it, but unlike Easton's customer service, they do not send you a return shipping label, so postage is your responsibility. Purchased a 2017 zero dark special edition bat in February of 2017, the bat failed in April of 2017. Upon getting warrantied I find out the bat is no longer available and I have to get a different bat. Problem is I can't get the bat I want because a "voucher" cannot be used for it. Find it funny that I spend my money on your product and then upon your products failure your voucher will not allow me to buy something the same as cash. To top it all off, you won't even refund me my money so that I could turn around and by the bat that my daughter wants from you. I had planned on buying a custom bat but after the interaction with your company we will no longer be looking in to that with you. Demarini's customer service is atrocious at best. They took over a month for them to send me my original bat, which turned out to be defective, then made me pay to get it shipped back to their factory, and then proceeded to cancel my replacement order without even notifying me. I have spent hours of my time dealing with their customer service representatives (who were polite and professional, but did not have the information they needed to help me) without getting my issues resolved. I placed my original order in mid-May. It is now September and I still don't have a bat. After 1:45 hear rep pick up phone talking about how he should be on break at 530 and it is 533. Back to the bat, new 2016 CF8 purchased end of 2016 season. Bat cracks with in months of using it. 2017 Zen sent as replacement, again within months bat cracks again. DeMarini says they offer a one time replacement. Current bat has NO RETURN stamped on it. Out 350 plus tax on bat, plus shipping of first broken bat, and now two hours of my time to be told that costmer service can't help. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My 13 year old son loves his new CF8. We would have purchased another Easton but Jerry Garnett was correct; this bat has a ton of pop.

When the bat doesn't fail, they make a good product in general. However, products do have failures and the opinion of your customers are determined by how you handle those failures. We purchased a bat less than 1 year ago. It was used for only half a season before it developed a rattle and was disqualified for use at a tournament. We obtained an RMA # from the place we purchased it from and was told where it needed to be returned. Having no box to ship it in and being in the local area I drove to the location, where they flatly refused to accept it. I have to find a box and pay to have it shipped across town in order to get it replaced. Period. I am really disappointed and frustrated. Why should I spend yet additional time and money to get a faulty product replaced when I was willing to bring it to your front door? I'll never buy another Demarini product because IF it fails it is more trouble to replace it then the quality of the product justifies. read more
