That's not service, that's incompetence. Ever since the switch from Cabela's to Bass Pro Shops, this place has clearly gone downhill. Poor communication, terrible process, and a complete lack of respect for people's time. If this is the new standard, it's no surprise this place is losing its reputation. It needs a serious overhaul, because right now it's inefficient, disorganized, and honestly just frustrating to deal with.

I requested an update. No reply. May 9th, I call the business asking for an update on my order, and whoever it was I talked to didn't ask for an order number or anything. They just said that they just got a bunch of the orders in, and I would be receiving an email update within a couple days. Nothing. Today, May 27th, I once again called asking for an update. Told whoever I spoke to that the order was placed through Tualatin JBO. They told me all those orders were already delivered. Told them I placed this order on April 19th, and I could give them the order number if it would help. Their exact reply was, "Well the order number isn't gonna do me any good." They got a little flustered, then asked for my name and number and would get back to me later in the day. I called about 3pm. It's almost 930pm and no call back. Update 5/28 - Received word from someone from Tualatin JBO. The orders were received a week ago and will be distributed amongst the teams/families. Still would have appreciated SOME type of communication from OCSG.

I called this past Friday and Saturday with a very specific issue regarding a discontinued New Balance style I was hoping to find. Isak was gracious, friendly, and his knowledge of shoes is clearly extensive. When we realized the style was discontinued, he didn't stop there--he went the extra mile to check the main warehouse for any remaining stock. Although they were unavailable, Isak spent a significant amount of time discussing numerous comparable alternatives with me. What impressed me most was that even when it became clear I wouldn't be making a purchase that day, Isak remained incredibly kind and patient. Additionally, Isak suggested contacting their flagship store, Gimre's, which is right in my hometown of Astoria, saving me the long trip from the coast to Tigard. I had an overall very pleasant experience buying a new pair of running shoes here…read more I was greeted by an employee when I walked into the store, and the employee took a video of me running barefoot on a treadmill and did a 3D scan of my feet to help find the right kind of shoes for me. The employee was very knowledgeable about the shoes they sold and the biomechanics of running. I was brought a number of options to try and was given all the time I needed to try on different shoes and jog around the store. I feel Road Runner has a larger selection of shoes than a lot of the other local running stores. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because of how pushy they were about selling me a pair of Road Runner custom insoles. I was confident I didn't need them, but was basically not allowed to try on shoes until I was fitted for the insoles. It seemed a bit strange that they force you to get fitted for insoles, and then either charge you around $90 to keep them or just throw them out if you decide against it.

They're pricey but worth it when you find a brand that works for you. My husband likes their style and how functional it is. Good quality with unique graphic tees. He loves their Ridge pant. Fits him well, durable, lots of pockets, and comes in great colors. Every time we've shopped here, each staff member has been super helpful and friendly. They always ask if we need a different color or size and they check in the back. They have so much inventory that we usually end up being able to get what we need from the back when they look. They also hold some free training classes. One is happening next week on home defense.

They had so many windows around the ceiling, the store was full of sunlight, felt so nice. Like many other Dick's store, they had all the popular sections like baseball, softball, football, tennis, fishing, biking, golf, racket sports, sneakers and huge displays of apparels from different brands. I explored the store for about half an hour. They have lots of World Cup 2026 merchandises. I was looking for sporting shorts and found some I liked in Adidas section. The prices were slightly higher compared to Adidas' website. Some of the staff members I talked to were friendly.
