I'm never disappointed when I come out of this nail salon. I am a regular and Kat is my stylist. She has been doing my manicures and pedicures for years now and I've never been disappointed. The salon is equipped with quality product as I never have experienced chipping or fading or anything of the sort. There is a wide range of services although I'm older so mine are very basic but I sure do enjoy seeing some of the younger girls with the fancier stylish nail sets. They look beautiful! Stylists appear to be enjoy their job and clients even more satisfied with the services they receive. Personally I enjoy the banter and the smiles on both clients and stylists as the salon has a positive vibe making it an establishment that I enjoy going to. Booked well in advance with Gia, based off of a recommendation. Almost a week later I got I call to reschedule or go with another stylist because Gia couldn't take my appointment time. I told the individual that I spoke on the phone with exactly what I was looking for (gel manicure soak off and a new gel manicure done) she recommended Benny. I checked in for my appointment and only a few minutes later, I was told Benny was running behind (I would have been happy to wait, time was never of concern) and Hannah would take me. I told her exactly what I was wanting and the few things I didn't like with my manicure from a different salon a few weeks ago. I've only had 3 manicures ever, so I didn't know until it was too late that despite asking for a gel soak off, that was not what I was getting until she was filing off the gel polish with the drill. I asked her why I wasn't getting the polish soaked off and she said this is more gentle and better. It's not what I requested though. Then for my new set I requested matte black, when she was done I told her there were streaks from the matte topcoat, only to be told "That's the matte, you've never got matte before?" she had just removed matte black gel polish. On my 3 manicures I've ever received, they've all been matte black. I told her exactly that and I've never had streaks. She had nothing more to say or a solution, just told me I was done and sent me on my way. As being a non-confrontational person I should have pushed back more but I didn't, so I'll deal and go elsewhere next time. read more

The service with some nail techs is wonderful. Then there are some that are in a hurry and take short cuts to get you out fast. Management was advised on poor service with a phone call he stated some techs have been doing this for years and they are fast. I explained it was not the rush but they take short cuts and do not get full service. He replied if I wanted for him to fire employee. I said no. He said he would call me back, I haven't heard from him yet. I spent $93.00 that day. I think I will go somewhere else. read more

I saw Christine Saaverdra in suit 202! Let's just say I should of known after our initial contact on August 16th she didn't get back till Sept 1St which put me in a bind only allowing days before my birthday to get any type of Botox. So we make an appt for Sept 6th well the day if I have to ask for the address of where she is located which also baffled me. I explained to her thoroughly what works and what doesn't even providing a picture of the best injection spots. She does her thing says she's cautiously injecting small doses and will see me in 2 weeks to see what we need to tweak! That right there I've never had either where I have to return but I made that appt and glad I did or so I thought! I explain to her i wasn't happy and that I wasn't frozen and had movement in the one spot I didn't want any! Botox is to prevent lines not make them subtle. I've been doing this for many years I know what my results should look like not what someone prefers them to look like! We went back and forth repeating herself wanting me sign a waiver to inject more. I was like why did you even make this appt if your not willing to add anymore in the fear of dropping my eyebrow. I've never had it happen and I have always been frozen. I feel she isn't confident in what she does and wanted me to go elsewhere and refused me anymore service and left me unhappy. Be aware in professional lack of communication skills and will not fix her bad work!! Waste of money after a month I was back to looking like I had never had any dysport placed in my forehead. And I can usually get 2&1/2 months out of this service when done right! read more

I love Demi's and have been going for a couple years now, but this last experience was not so great. I had an appointment scheduled, I checked in with the receptionist at front desk and sat down to wait. After an hour, I asked the receptionist how much longer it'd be, and she didn't know, nor did she know I was still there, waiting. I was taken back after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting and I was put with a different nail tech than the one I scheduled with. (Iris, the nail tech who did my nails, did a great job and was very kind!) I was disappointed to not have the tech I originally wanted. Afterwards, there were no apologies, discounts or effort to keep my business. I'm sure it was an off day, but I hope to have better customer service next time! read more

I usually go to someone else to do my nails but he wasn't in town and I needed to get my nails done for my anniversary so I decided to make an appointment with them. I went there once and enjoyed it so i don't know what was wrong this time. First of all I made an appointment at 10 am didn't get in until 10:40. It was already annoying as it is but I get it with the shortage of staff. Then i went back and the lady who did my nails was Kim seemed like a nice lady but she rushed my nails like I mean did them in 30 minutes. She then passed me onto another nail tech who was Demi, also very sweet, and she did my flowers on my nails. I loved the flowers but I did have to wait another 20 minutes just for her to do my nails. Then I decided to get a pedicure because why not it's my anniversary. I don't know the name of the lady who did my pedicure but she was very sweet. I then went to pay and I was paying with my card and the guy asked me if I wanted to tip anyone and I said I would only tip Demi and the lady who did my pedicure but when I got the receipt he didn't want to give me in the first place he left a tip for Kim without my permission. I left because I was already tired and it had already been 2-3 hours in the salon. It is now 10 days later and two of my nails came off, the clear coat is coming off, the gems fell off and the flowers. Not once in my entire life of getting acrylic nails have the clear coat peeled off. I called to see if I could get some kind of percentage back of my money I paid but all they did was argue with me, tell me I was lying, and told me they were too busy. I guess this is why you don't cheat on your nail tech. read more

I always go to the Demi's in Rio Rancho but since they opened the one on Coors, I thought I'd give that one a try since it's closer. I loved my pedi, but HATE my manicure. I am a nail biter, so I was super proud to have grown my nails out pretty long and couldnt want to get them painted. The lady kept pushing me to get an "overlay" and i kept telling her no, I just wanted them painted, but she would NOT stop so i just said FINE. I also told her I just wanted a trim on the nails, I wanted to keep the length. She cut my nails SO short and filed them into a box! Not only that, the overlay is powder so it made my nails SO thick. So, $100 later, I have short, FAT, box nails that look terrible. Her paint job isnt good either. In the pix you cant tell as much but the polish is clumpy and worst, she didnt paint down to the cuticle so it looks like i had them painted for a week already. I hate them, they look horrible. read more
