I went on 6/29 with my mom because my friend raved about it and I wanted chrome nails for my vacation. I thought it was a good job, but 24 hours later and the chrome has two huge chips and rubbed away like the polish was never dry, so now my nails are busted for my trip, and my mom paid $50 for a pedicure that I could enjoy for 24 hours. We were immediately escorted back to the chairs but all our services started at different times. The ones offered in the book didn't match online so that was a little confusing. The only drinks we were offered was water so we unfortunately didn't get to try their mocktails. I got the jelly hydration with jell. After tip it came out $107.57. Everyone was really friendly. The greeting was not friendly from the front desk , takes forever to check in or cash out. Paid $70 no gel polish and a very sub par design, and a nail tech that seemed like her first time. Pretty sure they over charged me but it was soooo loud in there , I just had to leave. I went to relax, but there was no relaxation whatsoever. I've normally gotten pretty good service here but this last time that I went, I was scheduled for a 3 PM pedicure. I showed up they put me at one of the stations with my feet in the water which after 15 minutes had grown cold. Someone came over and said they were gonna do my pedicure and then they left and got somebody else then that person sat down and then she left to take an appointment that she had finally sent somebody else. I had a small repair done to a toenail with acrylic and the toenail was made HUGE and jagged when I mentioned it to the person, she got upset with me and had an attitude. I didn't wanna say anything further. So I left with a giant toenail that had not been shaped properly it's a giant sharp square. Also, the toenails are two shades lighter than the toes on the right foot. I was there for a long time. Just waiting to be seen. They had too many people. This experience was super disappointing. I sat there with my feet and cold water even though I had an appointment. Plus I was charged $108 by the time I left for nothing special and walked away with a pedicure I regretted the minute I left. read more

The service, which included a matte crimson finish with rose gold French tip at an additional $22, lacked polish and attention to detail, omitting fundamental treatments such as cuticle care and hand soak. Furthermore, the application was hasty and subpar, resulting in an uneven finish that chipped immediately. The pedicure was similarly disappointing, with a lack of foot soak, callus removal, and an unacceptably short service time. Given the substantial fee of $286 and premium pricing for extras, I was disappointed to find the experience falling short. I would never go back again. read more

I recently came for a friend's birthday, we were a party of five and had made reservations beforehand. They sat us all in a row and it required a $20 per person deposit to secure the reservation. Apparently that is their policy for anything over 4 people. I went with one of the more basic pedicure packages, the green tea detox, which I believe was $58 before tax/tip and the additional fee for getting gel was $15. The extra money for gel is always worth it. In the grand scheme of things, they are definitely on the more expensive side for pedicures in Albuquerque however, it is definitely beyond your typical pedicure experience. They absolutely go above and beyond. I don't remember the name of the guy I got, but he was great. He had very strong hands. In addition to the pedicure and everything else, they also do an eight minute massage. You can tell their popular place because every time I've been there has been people waiting. I've been a customer for the last 3 years. The service can be a bit hit or miss depending on the mood of your nail tech and volume of customers . Pedicures are always great, but when it comes to scheduled appointments, be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more. When you finally get seated, the service is rushed because they're already running late for the next appointment. I come here every two weeks for a full set and pedicure the full set service always feels rushed and if you point out something you don't like as they go be prepared to receive an attitude. When you would assume that's the right time to say something instead of when the service is done . (stick to walk-ins for pedicures only) since appointment times don't seem to be valued, and that's the only service that doesn't feel rushed. read more

During my short wait, I picked out a polish color and they offered me a choice of coffee, water, hot tea, sparkling water, or soda. The chairs were super comfortable and also had a massager. I went for the pumpkin spice specialty pedicure (which I've been wanting to try that specific one for the last few years). The gal I was paired with wasn't super talkative, but that's okay. The file was sharp that she was using and accidentally cut the corner of one of my toes. I've been happy with the services here, but I was really disappointed by how I was treated during a recent issue with their in-store ATM. When the machine withdrew $100 twice due to a malfunction, I contacted the business for help. Although they eventually confirmed the error and returned my money, I was spoken to unprofessionally and made to feel like I was at fault--despite it being their machine's mistake. I hope they improve how they handle customer concerns in the future, as no one should feel uncomfortable when resolving an issue caused by store equipment. Update: After posting my review, the owner reached out to address my concerns professionally and assured me that steps would be taken to prevent similar situations in the future. I appreciate the follow-up and will continue to visit for services, especially with Serenity, who always does excellent work. I've been to this salon several times and have had three different technicians, so I decided it was time to offer my opinion. In short, I can't recommend this salon. The woman at the front desk is very accommodating and pleasant to deal with, but that's sort of the end of the positives. The techs are robotic -- no pleasantries here! That would be tolerable had the services been better. Two pedis I had were actually painful! Even when I said "OW" and pulled back, there was no apology -- just kept on. In another instance, not all of the old polish was removed before the new was applied, so there was a dark "ring" of the old color on my nails. I called letting them know that I was running about 5 minutes late. upon arriving my technician had me sit at her station, she was very cold, kinda angry. what upset me was how rushed she did my nails. she finished with a "fill" and gel polish in 35 minutes. she never asked me how I wanted my nail shape.. They said they'd scheduled me with Mai but when I arrived for my appointment Mai was not available so I was taken care of by Rose. I wanted a French pedi and a glazed white mani. The pedi was nice but quick. I prefer a thicker French strip on my pedi but Rose preferred the thinner. My mani was also nice, even though I just wanted the gel. Rose used the viral Opi Funny Bunny with a chrome powder. My left hand turned out nice but the top coat on my right was bumpy and gritty on a few nails so once I got home I filed them down and reapplied a top coat to smooth it out. I was surprised at the $120 price, plus tip. It was a bit more than I expected so keep an eye on those add ons. read more

The salon is pretty and clean. There's a lot of polish colors to choose from and they had the colors I asked for in stock. The nail tech did a wonderful job on my pedi. He was gentle with polish removal and foot care. The final product was exactly what I asked for. I requested the aromatherapy pedicure and was disappointed. The leg mask was forgotten. The 10 minute hot stone massage was actually a barely warm less than 4 minute leg rub. They remembered to charge me the full amount, though. I discussed this with the lady at the front desk and she said "oh" and that was it. I just paid and left. I felt short changed, so for that reason I wouldn't go back. The outside doesn't do it justice and you barely realize it's a nail salon but I decided to call and was fortunate enough to make 6 appointments, all for the same time... GOLDUST was able to accommodate my entire party and had us all in and out and looking fabulous within 90 minutes! I have to admit that we are a rather picky bunch and I cannot say enough great things about this salon!!! Zero complaints, rather nothing but praise!!! The scheduling was prompt and each staff member was professional, attentive and super accommodating; they even text appointment confirmations! The salon itself is high end and impeccably clean; the pedi chairs look brand new. Every staff member that tended to my party was amazing!!!
