Allen accepted responsibility for the mistake after verifying our selection via text chain. Allen then attempted to rectify the situation by going over the top of the incorrect color grout with the correct color grout. This attempt was extremely unsuccessful in many areas and was a very unprofessional way of fixing this mistake. Once it was obvious that the attempt was unsuccessful, Allen and his son completely vanished from the job and became impossible to get ahold of. We tried phone calls, text messages, and emails all to no avail. Mistakes are completely understandable for every business, but it's the response to the mistake that separates a good company from a company that should be out of business. The LVP is lifting in areas because there are uneven surfaces. The LVP has lifted so much, that the boards are sharp where they have popped. I contacted Modern Flooring Services and they informed me that my warranty expired in February (2 months back) and that they won't be able to help me. This isn't a warranty issue, this is an installation issue. Don't use this company as they won't make good on their mistakes. They did offer to provide an estimate to repair the work, however. UMMM. No thank you.
