We sat at the bar and our bartender Sarah provided the best service we have had at any restaurant while in our two week trip. She happened to to be from Tennessee like we are so that made for great conversation. I am not sure how old Karstens PH is, but the facility looks great. The wood beams look brand new and everything was very clean. Overall this was an excellent experience, we highly recommend.

However, there are two things I don't love. One is that I remember them advertising selling reindeer dogs in the past however I don't see them on the menu or posted anywhere anymore. The second is the more glaring issue, the price. Now, I understand the location, the target customers, and so on are the reasons for the overpriced products. I also understand that the doghouse is far from the only business in this area that's overpriced. But even still, $12 for a normal sized hotdog is just too much, especially with no sides or drinks included. So, if you have money to spare and don't mind overpaying, I would highly recommend this cool and unique spot to grab a bite to eat.
