I've been to this restaurant many many times over the years but today I went in and it was amazing I got Soledad as my server and I can not express how much this woman took care of not only my table but the other 4 tables around me she came by to check everything did not hesitate to fill my drink or ask if I needed anything she had a smile on her face the moment she saw us. This place is awesome. The service is great, as well as the food. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was awesome. The seasonal buttermilk pancakes tastes great. We were there for about 45 minutes and had no issues with anything. I look forward to eating here again. read more

Worst experience ever. Hostess Soledad is seating friends first, who came in AFTER us then just walks away without seating us and totallyignoring us. I have never spoken out before but this was totally wrong. Then we asked for extra extra crispy hashbrowns and of course my mom's were perfect and mine were just this side of raw. My wife and I went tonight, Memorial Day and the place ws really busy but that did not interfere with the quality of the service or the food. Everything was outstanding, as it usually is, since we eat there at least once a week. Our servers Rebecca and Gabriel are outstanding. We have been eating at this Denny's for almost sixteen years and would recommend it to anyone. My Kudos to the cooks, they did an outstanding job on our dinners. Denny's is usually not like this so I'm a little disappointed. My mom and I had breakfast here today. However when our food came both of our meals were cold. When the waitress came up to us and asked if everything was okay my mom had told her it was cold so she said she'd give us a discount. The lady that brought us the check (who seemed like the manager) apologized and told us that she voided my moms meal. Which the price for my food, orange juice, and moms coffee wasn't very reasonable and was kind of pricey. So when we went up to the counter to pay she asked how the food was, my mom said both of ours were cold. The lady ended up giving us the meal for free. It was handled very professionally but still probably shouldn't have been cold in the first place. Probably won't be coming here again. read more

This was the second time we went to this new Denny's. Each time it took over an hour to get our food! It's Ridiculous...I feel bad for the poor waitress, by the time our food came to the table (it was only a sandwich) we were so mad we didn't even want to leave her a tip (but we did). When the food finally arrived the presentation was horrible and the fries were cold and oily. I don't think we'll ever go back. Save your money and your time. read more

The worst Denny's I've ever been to in my life. Service was deplorable, didn't even receive my entire order which was not correct. The kitchen and wait staff was incompetent and slow. I could not leave a tip at all. Waitress never checked on us at all. I had to ask for anything I needed cause she never asked. When I did receive what I ask for there was attention to detail and Rushed service. To top it all off there's a whole in the roof leaking water and the entire restaurant smells like an old garbage disposal. DO NOT EVER EAT HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. You've been warned. read more

Just arrived here with a group of 10 bikers riding between Vegas and Victorville. Temperature was 115, 1:30 in the afternoon. Our entire group was near heat exhaustion and we needed to cool off. We were seated quickly and asked for water, but after begging 4 staff we still were waiting, fanning ourselves with menus and sweating, some of us close to passing out. We kept begging for water, no one would serve us. A bus boy started bringing glasses of water, we asked for some pitchers which he said he'd bring us, but the supervisor stopped him and said no pitchers were allowed at the table. I explained we were suffering from heat exhaustion but she still refused. We quickly drank the water we had, then immediately asked for refills. I took ice from my cup and started using it to cool down my face and arms, still begging for more water. Finally the supervisor relented and brought out carafes of water for our tables. The attitude of the staff towards us was so incredibly appalling. If we weren't seriously in need of water and a cool place to rest right now, we would have left immediately. read more

This place has, by FAR, the absolute WORST customer service of any Denny's I've encountered (and I travel via motorcycle often, so I've seen a few). Traveling home from Vegas on Sunday June 14th 2015, stopped here at about 1:30pm. Temperature outside was a lovely 115 degrees (no, I'm not exaggerating). My group got seated, and immediately requested waters. The waitress ignored that request until after she'd given us all silverware. It took nearly 15mins to get water served to us in glasses. We were told that they "aren't allowed to leave pitchers of water at the tables," which we'd requested only to save them the hassle of constantly refilling our cups. 20mins after being seated, the waitress began to take our order, only to be told that half the things we wanted weren't available because they "sold out". Every single staff member we encountered had a disgruntled look on their face, and seemed wholly unwilling to serve us. I've NEVER been so irritated with the staff of a dining establishment. I understand that a large party (there were 10 of us) requires some extra work, but we eat hearty and tip well. I can say with absolute certainty that I will NEVER, EVER be a patron at this particular Denny's again. read more

Place was filthy! Sat near big windows with blinds, and there was loads of dust and couple dead flies on the ledge at the bottom. Looked like blinds hadn't been cleaned in years. Dropped in after we found out Coco's had closed across the street after going there for years. Food was not bad though. Never again will I drop by this Denny's because it's filthy. You wonder if they clean the kitchen. Wifi was a plus. read more

Went to Denny's tonight (October 19, 2015)for my sons bday dinner. It wasn't too busy inside but I noticed they only had 2 waitress', my son wanted it so we decided to stay. The waitress sat us down at 530. My daughter and I went to the restroom and the entire back room smelled of urine! The bathroom was also filthy! We came back to our table and sat down. We then waited 15 minutes and still no one came to take our drink or food order. As we are waiting we keep getting a wiff of sewer coming from the kitchen. Smelled like straight shit!!! My son said it smelled and wanted to leave. I was right there with him, I can not eat with the smell of sewer right by our table. I don't know how the other customers did it. Not to mention it was hot as hell in there!!! We got up and left and still no waitress noticed us! This Denny's location needs to get their act together as there is no decent places to sit and have breakfast for dinner in Barstow. I will not be returning and I urge everyone not too as well! Not a fan of this particular Denny's. I generally have good experiences at Denny's all around Southern California. But this Denny's usually gets my order wrong (much more than they get it right!). Now, when I think I'd like a Denny's meal I travel five miles south (of Barstow), to Lenwood (right off the I-15) where there are two Denny's, both seem able to get my order right! read more

I ordered online as I was driving on the 15-south. My order was ready in about 20 mins which timed out perfectly with me arriving to Barstow and getting to Denny's. The staff member went through my order with me and made sure that I had enough condiments and silverware. The order was made correct and the special instructions I requested were followed.
