Although the signs say to seat yourself, a waitress stopped us and asked us to wait while she found us a table. That was perfectly fine. What was confusing was that the restaurant appeared to be only about half full, and I could see at least four larger tables sitting completely empty in the room where we were standing. The waitress offered another table in a different section, but it was still covered with dirty plates and leftover food from the previous guests. She explained that they would also need to place an additional chair in the aisle for our group and said she needed to check with the manager first. Then the manager came out. Before we even had an opportunity to explain anything or ask a question, he immediately began speaking to us in an insulting and confrontational manner and told us we would have to wait approximately 30 minutes for a table. We told him that was fine--we simply wouldn't wait and would go somewhere else. That should have been the end of the interaction. Instead, as we were leaving, he continued following us toward and out the door, mocking us and saying that we were all going to "cry" because we couldn't sit in his restaurant. I genuinely cannot understand treating customers this way, especially customers who had already calmly decided to leave rather than argue about the seating situation. One bad experience can happen anywhere. Two visits with disrespectful treatment is a pattern. There will not be a third.

Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. I ordered French Toast with sausage patties, which I totally prefer over links but it's so rare to find them on the menu, and my partner had a breakfast burrito. The food arrived fairly quick and it was perfect. I'm not into fancy breakfast foods so keep is simple and I'm happy. The breakfast burrito was HUGE and my partner wasn't able to finish it. The entire breakfast with coffee was about $40, which I felt was very reasonable by today's standards. We both mentioned how we recently went to famous SoCal fast food hamburger joint (not In-and-Out) and it was $30 for 2 people, and not as good. Our service was super friendly, and we felt welcome there. Along with good food, this might be our regular breakfast stop when driving to Vegas.

We almost got our foods sooner but several women's when off on the staff for waiting x amount of hours and still didn't get the orders yet. We ended up having to wait until 10:33pm to get all our orders. We requested to get french fries first which was around 10:13pm since we're hungry. But mind you we been here waiting since 8:04pm for the whole order. We finally took our first chili cheeseburgers bite at 10:38pm. We left the restaurant by 10:59pm/11pm. It was just a big fat disappointment. You can literally get it elsewhere with better service and fresher taste. The chili cheeseburgers alone had so little bits of ground meat in it.
