Usually when I visit, I'm using a voucher for either a discount or something's free. With the past two visits, one order had a $5 discount; the other came with free french toast. I've sat in a booth and at the bar; the bar tends to be a little more clean. The food always comes out hot and fast. While sitting at the bar, the staff tends to engage in conversation more until my order is ready. Denny's isn't at the top of my list of places to patronize due to their issues of the past, but the vouchers keep me returning to support the hard working staff. I got a salted caramel cold brew and a waffle. The coffee was disgusting and its not worth 7$ it tasted like watered down coffee I couldn't taste any caramel or cream. The waffle was ok but nothing I would eat again. Service was extremely slow and when they finally brought out the food they didn't bring silverware so we had to sit there and wait longer. The cups looked extremely dirty. I haven't been to a Dennys in about a decade until today and that will most definitely be the last time. It is a long and irrelevant story, how I ended up keeping watch over the wee hours of the night in this diner, like those figures in the "Night Owls" painting, I came here to wait on my rental car reservation to go through and shelter from Hurricane Henrietta. Her super-soaking rain buffeted in waves against the plate glass windows. Huge waves of rain splashed in the tomato & grape glow of the neon lights. Denny's menu has a strong selection of typically American fast casual breakfast & lunch choices for everyone Most are familiar like the popular and filling "Grand Slam Breakfast; the French toast is pretty good too. Maybe I will return another time to sample some of the promotional "Beetlejuice"-themed dishes. The biggest factor that sets this particular Denny's apart from others I recall is its friendly and skilled staff attuned to help customers. I had only planned to be here for an hour or so but I ended up spending several hours quite by happenstance. THESE FOLKS made me feel at home with a mug of pretty good coffee. expertly refilled at just at the right time thanks to Ms. Samria's warm hospitality and near-psychic timing. The busy intersection out in front can be somewhat intimidating late at night but the presence of this Denny's Restaurant settles the score a little in favor comfort and a touch of working-class grace. I see this as quite a turnaround recalling headlines from many years ago in a TIME when Denny's didn't try as hard to make EVERYBODY feel welcome alongside their bacon and eggs. But the company's approach has grown and matured, at least I can't bear witness in THIS spot. And the fine people at work here deserve the credit. I placed a delivery order and enjoyed the late night breakfast following coming in late from the Beyoncé tour. There weren't many options in this area open after 1:00 am with breakfast options. The businesses uptown were overrun with tourists and local fans. I ordered the grand slam with chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. All items were perfect. Many restaurants overcook scrambled eggs but this restaurant made them perfectly soft and edible. A good choice for late nights and early mornings. read more

Ordered the New Banana Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe breakfast. Two plates came-One with a Crepe- Sliced bananas on top right underneath Hazelnut Chocolate. Filling inside the crepe reminds me of pudding. Second plate came with hash browns, two over easy eggs with two sausages. Yelper's checkin for a treat-Pancake Puppies Sundae. If you're going to be open 24/7 at least have decent service. It wasn't the best impression walking in, which can be understandable? I'd say there were only 2 or 3 tables, so it was pretty empty. There were about 3 or 4 waitresses standing around. They somewhat argued over who was going to take our table, which made us feel like it was an issue that we were there. We were a group of 5 people and it took over an hour to receive our food, we ordered very little (wish I would have taken a picture). The waiter took our order and never came back to check on us. All our drinks were empty when he came back with another employee to give us our food. We never did get refills. I didn't receive my food, the rest of my table were already eating, and one of my other friends didn't receive half of their meal (We both ordered the same thing). I had to take my food to go, because the rest of the table were close to being finished and we didn't want to be there any longer than we needed to be. Multiple times we considered going to another restaurant (before receiving our food) or drive-thru, so we could go home, but decided to wait it out and give it the benefit of the doubt. It was late, we were tired and just wanted to sit somewhere to eat. One friend ordered something, very specific, it was a build your own menu item so they could control what was on their food. They received an item they had double checked with, while ordering and when they received it, to make sure it wasn't the incorrect item. A food item that they cannot eat because it makes them very sick. When they asked the waiter, he had briefly glanced down and agreed that it was what they had asked for (without double checking with someone, just to make sure or to be safe). During the wait, there was one waitress who was very professional. Before we received our food (it had been about an hour at this point), she asked if our orders were taken, because we had been sitting there for a while without anything on our table. We said yes and she went to go check. She then informed us, that it was only one chef making the food, and that's okay, we understand it taking possibly a little longer than normal but this was a bit extreme. Considering the food that we ordered. When we received our food, after waiting a couple of minutes to see if the rest would come, it didn't. One of the people at my table waved down the same waitress from earlier, because we didn't see our waiter anywhere in sight the whole time (apart from when he took our drink order, our food order, and when we received the food). She wrote down what we were missing and how one friend was misinformed about an item on his food. Of course the wait for the food was not the original waiter's fault but he could've met our other needs, stuff that he did have control over. In the end, they gave us a 20% discount, which was only $3 off. The lady that billed our order out, who I'm guessing was the manager, was not very friendly. It felt more like it was our fault the way she was acting towards us. I wish I could remember that one waitress' name because she somewhat saved the experience from being a complete loss, but I thank her for what she did for us. Also- just wanted to make it clear that our waiter in no way was disrespectful towards us when we interacted with him. Hopefully the experience is better in more reasonable hours, it was around 1:30 in the morning when this happened. If I could give this place a zero I would! My family of 3. Husband, child and me. We placed our order roughly around 9pm and it is now 10:22pm and still no food. No waitress checking to see if we wanted a refill or letting us know why are food was taking so long. No apology from the waitress who took our order. My husband finally walks up to them and ask what's going on, the cook in the back automatically apologizes and says he's working on our order now. He definitely made us feel a little better. He's the only positive thing I have to say about this place. We finally got our food at 10:26pm, but not complete. Here's what took over an hour to make.
