First time eating here . Was in the area for work for two weeks . I ate here three times and got the same thing . The bot avocado is great and fresh . Definitely would hear more if there was another closer to home . Service was good

Got the Grilled Chicken croissant and a side of fruit. The sandwich was very good (as their sandwiches almost always are) but the "fruit" leaves a lot to be desired. Do better McAllister's - you serve good food but you should be embarrassed serving what I got today - 2 inedible pieces of pineapple (consistency of cardboard), one small half piece of a very, very soggy strawberry, two very small and very smushy grapes, and 4 pieces of decent tasting melon. Either do it correctly or take it off your menu. And this is not the first time I've received an inedible side of fruit from this location that I've had to throw away most of. I'll be back because of the sandwiches, but guess I'll play it safe and go for the chips next time.

The service was friendly and fast. We were surprised to see that they had "for a limited time" a muffuletta sandwich. Now the last time we had a muffuletta was at Central Grocery in New Orleans. What the heck - we gave it a try............. It looked the same. It was NOT the same. The olive mixture was all wrong. Seemingly an easy thing to get right ?? Pass on the muffuletta if you have ever had one in New Orleans. We had lots of tea refills. Their tea is always good !!

Great tasting sandwich as expected. They had chicken and dumplings still in the menu which was nice. Wish I had some honey mustard for my sandwich but I wasn't thinking about it at the time. I asked about bread in referring to my sandwich but the cashier thought I wanted to order white bread as a side. I paid a $1 more but whatever.

I really like McCalisters. I tried the new Chicken & Bacon Spud. It was good but needed more meat, cheese, sauce. The picture of course is what drew me in lol. All in all it was still tasty & I had the chef salad with pecan raspberry vinaigrette. DELISH!!

Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap

Ordered a GRILLED chicken Caesar wrap that was received cold and the thickest chicken tortilla soup (if you even want to call this mess that) in life. They have messed up our order several times before and we stopped ordering for awhile. We tried to give it another chance only to regret our decision.

Long hair found in Cesar dressing called store because i was back at work! I called and a man answered saying he can't do anything without me going all the way back to the store and he hung up on me!

I'm not a big fan of delis. Cold cut sandwiches sound so boring to me because they're something I can make at home and usually bring to work for lunch. So to go out for lunch at work and pay more to get the same thing is very unappealing. Tagging along for lunch one day, though, I went to McAlister's Deli. I was very impressed (and overwhelmed) by their menu. Not only were there cold cut sandwiches, there were hot sandwiches, salads, soups, and baked potato options, as well as full-on hot comfort food entrees like meatloaf and roast beast with gravy. I loved seeing the corned beef and pastrami on the menu. Mmm... A lot of sub/sandwich shops don't carry those two meats, preferring to stick with "the basics." I went with the Muffaletta, though, because it's fun to say and sounded yummy. Half Muff, please! We returned on another occasion and I wanted something fairly light, but it was also a chilly day. The soup and salad combo did the trick. I was one happy boy. The entrees are good-sized and there is plenty of seating so customers aren't all on top of one another. Your party can have a little privacy and enjoy their lunches in peace with the help of half-wall room dividers.

I had a dead fly in my food called and the manager acted like he didn't give 2 fucks will not be ordering from here again 2706 West Mallard Creek

As a San Francisco Bay Area foodie who's been steadily eating my way through Charlotte, I had…read morebookmarked Lee's Sandwiches and was excited to finally give it a try--and overall, it did not disappoint. The concept is refreshingly simple: a straightforward menu of banh mi sandwiches, summer rolls, chips, and prepared foods ready to go. They also offer beer on tap, traditional Vietnamese iced coffee and tea, and fresh fruit smoothies. No frills--just solid, approachable Vietnamese fare. I ordered the #8 Chinese barbecue (char siu) banh mi and requested light pâté and extra vegetables. The sandwich was made to order and came out quickly. One of the owners kindly let me know that pâté typically isn't included on that particular sandwich and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. The sandwich itself was good, reasonably priced (around $8-9), and filling. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which delivered exactly the caffeine kick I was looking for. It wasn't overly sweet, had beautifully crushed ice, and came with a proper lid--not the plastic film seal you sometimes see at boba shops. Combined, the sandwich and coffee came to about $15, which felt like a great value. The interior is charming and thoughtfully designed. There's a small tuk-tuk display with retail items, traditional Vietnamese decor like bamboo hats on the walls, and even a seating area with low stools that gives a nod to the street-side dining style you'd find in Vietnam. I also loved the creative touch of repurposed Café Du Monde coffee cans holding napkins and chopsticks--simple, clever, and memorable. One small note for authenticity seekers: as someone who grew up with traditional Vietnamese cuisine, I've been searching for the classic old-school imperial rolls made with rice paper that fries up bubbly, crispy, and slightly chewy. The owner confirmed what I've been noticing--that many restaurants in the Charlotte area adapt recipes to American tastes, so that particular style is harder to find here. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just an interesting cultural observation. For my personal taste, the char siu wasn't quite as rich or fatty as the Chinese barbecue versions I'm used to, and the pâté had a slightly bitter note. Next time, I'll likely try the lemongrass pork banh mi and skip the pâté altogether. Insider tip: This is a great spot for a quick, affordable lunch with authentic flavors and fast service. The iced coffee alone is worth the visit. Overall, a cute, well-run neighborhood shop with solid value, friendly service, and a menu that does a few things well. I'll definitely be back to continue exploring the offerings.

Le's Sandwiches will always be my favorite banh mi shop in Charlotte. I had grew up eating there. They moved to another location which is the same parking lot area outside the lot by the old store. They had built and moved to a brand new shop. Iam so happy for them and wish the best for them. Their always quick and consistent with their food. Their banh mis are so delicous. It is usually quiet and not much seating inside to eat in.

Food came pretty fast, which I always appreciate when I'm dining in. Fresh rolls were typical - I especially enjoyed the thick sauce that came with it. Grilled pork was smokeyyy. Phew!! After the first bite, I was grinning so hard the entire time I was eating the sandwich bc I was so happy for the sandwich choose I made few minutes ago. It was perfection *chefs kiss* The Korean one was equally delicious. I enjoyed the kimchi topping, but it was not my favorite type of kimchi. Cilantro aioli added to the sandwich was nice touch! Overall, it's a quick, delicious joint that gave me such a beautiful experience! I would absolutely come back here next time I'm in the area. I wish I can magically transport this place to Triangle so I can come here all the time!

Because it was hot and I did not want to lose any muscle mass to sweating, we decided to dine inside. The place is very welcoming and lit up. They have a humongous menu board on the wall to your right as you enter. The prices are all very reasonable and you can get a great meal for under $15 per person. They also have a great selection of drinks and house made teas. We got a traditional Bahn Mi, which are sort of Vietnamese cold cuts with their relish, cucumber and jalapeño's. It is a taste of Vietnam in every bite and that soft flaky bread is the icing on the cake. We also got a BBQ Pork Bahn Mi, same style just savory pieces of pork in place of the "cold cuts". They have other types like chicken or Korean Beef available as well as vegan ones. They offer noodle bowls, empanadas and other types of appetizers. I got a Lychee tea to wash it all down. It has bits of fruit in it, it was a bit sweet so I watered it down. You place your order at the counter and get a # that they call out and you pick up your food and drinks at the counter . Bathrooms have a code that you need to ask for. Staff was friendly and got my food out quick and it was fresh and hot. Place was clean and tidy. Definitely will be back to try other things on menu as well as one of their signature teas. Stop in and indulge, you will definitely not be disappointed!
