Easy no fuss restaurant in the rolling hills casino. We were a party of 9 that walked in and were seated right away. Cool theme of rock and roll for a brewery. I got the Paloma cocktail and it was pretty good. Fair price at $7 too! My strawberry mixed fields salad was also good. I added steak. At first I thought the kitchen added too much black pepper, but once I mixed everything , the feta, cucumber, candied walnuts and vinaigrette really complemented the flavors. And at first I wondered why is the feta in blocks instead of crumbles, but it was to match the cubed cucumber that made the salad refreshing. I also tasted the salmon entree and it was just fine. Can't go wrong. If I'm here again I'll try the Parmesan wings next. read more

Great service (thank you Ana). Large, clean, themed space with gobs of rock 'n' roll memorabilia to peruse. The walls, tables, ceiling, menus etc. all have rock n roll related elements. They also have an onsite brewery, distillery, tasting room and gift shop. Mr. Wonderful had the fish tacos, black beans, and chips (he is on a seafood kick). We stopped here for dinner and were surprised and impressed with the food, and price. They have daily specials that are really a good deal. It was Tuesday, and so I ordered their street taco deal. Three delicious street tacos (chicken, pollo asada, and pulled pork), it came with chips and salsa, and a side of very deliciously seasoned black beans. I also ordered the Bloody Mary, which was good but nothing incredibly special. My partner enjoyed his quesadilla and beer as well. Our server was extremely friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food is mediocre at best but the atmosphere is very cool, if you're a music lover! Huge screen and loads of smaller screens, playing music videos. Our server was fabulous. Super friendly and on the ball with everything. We started with cheese curds, shared a pizza and split a burger. I thought the fries and ranch dressing were the most tasty. I did have a yummy espresso martini and the next time we're in the area we'll definitely stop in for a couple of cocktails and tunes! read more

Sometime back in November, 2025 their Boneless wings changed. They went from truly hand-breaded, cooked well (crunchy, not overdone, and juicy chicken), to sad, pre-breaded chicken bites that come out dry, with a rubbery texture that is nearly inedible. I was forced to throw out my nearly $20 meal because they were so hard to eat. I'm not sure if they replaced or got a new Sous Chef to run their kitchen, but I would no longer recommend getting their Boneless Chicken. Hopefully someone there reads these reviews and take them to heart. read more

Love the electronic dance pop music at Rock & Brews. You'll may dance and have a lot of amusement with the DJ. They also play Hispanic Puerto Rican songs too. Pretty cool place to grab a pizza and salad or a burger. I used to go all the time when I lived in Los Angeles, there's was one in Redondo Beach and El Segundo. My late pops loved the Redondo location. Here , it's located inside the rolling hills casino. Huge free parking lot. Wasn't busy at all. It gets very busy on weekends because of a breakfast buffet I was told. They had themed cocktails and Pepsi products. There is a distillery that sells Obsidian spirits. Additionally there was a brewery inside. I went with their Cobb salad , garlic parm wings and loaded pepperoni pizza. They are 10" and I had left overs of everything and ate the rest later in the afternoon. The server was great and she was on top of everything from refills to bringing extra sauces and flatware. The prices are a bit out of my comfort level though. I'd eat there again though because it was better than grabbing food that was handed to me in brown greasy bag. read more

Came here for some end of year drinks. Supposedly it was Ladies Night and the tender stated it applies to everyone so I did partake LOL. I am completely comfortable. I ain't tripping. My date had the Mojito and I had a Moscow Mule. It was on the sweet side for me so I chased it with a Crown Royal on the rocks. It was a nice night cap. We also ordered their BBQ Chicken Salad and man it was good! I especially appreciated the onion rings and avocado. Hands down a great salad! Quick bite as we stopped for gas at Rolling Hills and throw some money into the slots. Split the tritip tacos and the Oklahoma Smash burger with the hubby. The Oklahoma Smash was delicious. Juicy cooked to perfection. Fries were good. Tritip tacos were okay. Good flavor but the texture of meat was different. Not bad but just different. 4 out of 5 for tacos. The place has a cool vibe. Lots of good music and music memorabilia all over the place. They also have robots taking things back and forth to kitchen and back. Will definitely be back. read more

Rock and Brews is inside the Rolling Hills Casino and I'm here for the featured Sunday Blues Brunch. Brunch all you can eat buffet is served 10am till 2pm every Sunday for basically $40.00 per person. A friend talked me into coming and I'm glad I did. Inside is all very nice and the service is good, serving drinks and clearing plates. The food is buffet food, so nothing super high end gourmet. The highlight was the prime rib. Lots of breakfast items like chicken and waffles, French toast and baked potatoes loaded with whatever you like. Coffee and soft drinks are included. At other times, when the buffet is not on, it's a regular restaurant serving burgers and sandwiches and the like. I think the buffet was worth the price, but I know these buffet prices have gone up tons these last couple of years. It's good to know this is available a short driving distance from Red Bluff. read more

Server made a mistake on our bill. We paid it not noticing the error. 2 hours later, security knocks on our door in the hotel. Tells me I have to go back and pay the correct bill (total error $10) and that he has to escort me back into the restaurant. So I get the perp walk back to find multiple security guards standing around. Unbelievable since it was totally their error. I cannot believe how humiliating and silly this whole process was. For $10...a mountain made out of a molehill. And a customer pissed off for life. Do not recommend this place. No understanding of why this wasn't a good idea. read more

Wow. Never expected to have the experience I did this last Wednesday night. Table of 3, restaurant was not busy. We were seated with the menus and the. We waited. And waited and waited. 20-ish mins in we started looking for who our server was. While it looked like there were servers and food runners, we had to finally ask for our server. We requested water, and immediately placed our order since we were going to a show and only had 75 mins to dine. Our mocktails took at least 20 mins to get to the table, and apps was another 15 mins after that. Food came after 60 mins from sitting down. One of the drinks ordered was wrong, had to send it back. When the apps came out, there were no plates provided. When the food came out, there was no server checking on the table...my friend had to get up to find someone who could bring her Mayo/mustard for her burger. Fish and chips had heavy batter on it. Way too much. I had the garlic Parmesan wings, which were completely flavorless. What was just the worst was there were multiple workers, but zero awareness or looking up to assess the guests. At one point I watched the male manager walk out from the back...but did not even do a cursory check of the guests. And zero water refills. What a disappointing experience. read more

I stopped eating there as a casino patron ,they missed up my food orders numerous times ,even on occasion swapping out my food with guests at other tables ,I complained to several levels of management without any resolution ever attained by me through those contacts ,I encountered incidences of being disrespected or ignored by staff members there ,they seemed to want to turn the tables and put the responsibility squarely on me for their shortcomings ,I ate at the steakhouse after all that instead ,they always had excellent attitudes there and I was never made to feel out of place by their staff the alternative name for the steakhouse is 6 to 8 restaurant inside Rolling Hills casino and resort. read more

I figured to spend some time here having a meal, playing around on my laptop and enjoying a couple of beers. While the meal was good and the wifi worked well, there are no power outlets accessible in the restaurant. So I had my salad, I had a beer and then I headed onwards. With the Yelp checkin, I had a big pile of the fried onion straws. Tasty and delicious but challenging to eat. I managed to get about half of them without dropping any of the dipping sauce on my shirt. For main, I chose the cobb salad. Nicely put together with the usual ingredients and not too much lettuce at all, I was able to mix the grilled chicken, egg, avocado, bacon and blue cheese with the blue cheese dressing and didn't get too much on the table. A taller salad bowl would have helped. My waitress was lovely and friendly and very apologetic for the power outlet situation. It was great service. So, I'm a heavy haul semi driver. I stop at Rolling hills on a regular basis. When I'm there, I always go to Rock & Brews. The food is decent and the staff that I know are always friendly and helpful. My ONLY issue is with my drink of choice, which is a "car bomb". Every single time I order one...the price is different. I'm leaving this review because the last time I was there. I met the most magnificent bartender/ server EVER! Not only is she drop dead GORGEOUS! But, she's very nice and knowledgeable. Our server was very pleasant and on top of things. The restaurant is large with lots of seating, clean and nice decor. We ordered Street Tacos (combo) and the Carnitas Taco tasted delicious! Spent the night at Rolling Hills Casino and ended up eating here. Ordered an Asian chicken salad which was possibly the worst I've ever had. Was drenched with a watered down dressing which then made the wontons on top soggy. They also used regular peas and sliced them longways which were too long to fit in my mouth. Pea pods were bitter too. Partner had Caesar salad which was also swimming in dressing as well as chicken wings with a spicy asian sauce. Wings were tough and definitely overcooked. Could only eat 4 of them before giving up on them. Weren't even worth taking back to the room for a midnight snack. Waitress was great however and didn't short her tip at all because she provided great service read more
