When traveling interstate 5 in either direction this is a must stop, the food is just like mom's house makes and the folks here are really friendly. The inside has interesting decor to look at while waiting for your delicious meal , signs, hand drawn signs , the coffee is hot and in a very heavy duty cup that keeps your coffee hot The food was delicious, the folks are friendly, highly recommend

We walked in on a busy Sunday morning. It took a bit of time for the dirty tables to get cleared so that we could have a place to eat. But once we were seated our waitress was great. She apologized for us having to wait so long. The cafe is cute with a lot of knick knacks on the walls. When the food came it looked and smelled delicious. The portions were huge even though I got a mini omelette. There was plenty of parking and it is literally right off of the freeway so easy access.

BAT Benedict and Scramble was on point!

This is a great place to spend your time and money! Little city big flavors! If your on your way up to Oregon or coming down to Sacramento, stop here for a great experience

My go to for breakfast food if I am going to my property in Redding. Went up twice this week with 2 sets of friends and each one loved it! I always get chicken fried steak and eggs with home fries ( I asked to have additional onions and peppers added). Their chicken friend steak is the bomb! My friend ordered the same and like it too. Another friend got the steak wrap and a mini breakfast which was not really a mini it was a nice portion. The steak wrap was delicious but some homemade salsa would have been icing on the cake. Service is handled by some older ladies and is good and fast. It is exactly the service I would expect. Ambiance is nice and spacious versus crowded and annoying. Best place to eat if you are between sf Bay Area and Redding!

Traveling up and down the 5 as much as I do, you get to know all the good and not so good places to stop and eat or use decent restrooms. the I-5 Cafe and Creamery is one of the better places to stop and is located right off the freeway in between Sac and Red Bluff. Easy parking, even if you're driving a big rig or pulling any trailers. Service is fast and friendly, just treat the servers like you'd like to be treated and everything's fine. The food is pretty standard road side diner food, chicken fried steak, burgers and yes, they even have salads. I got a burger and it was pretty good, decent meat and good fries, what more do you want? My main thing is the service is fast and efficient and you can get back out on the road with minimal delay. I'll stop here again. Look for the Orland exit!

Tacos! Tortilla was cold and hard like they even try to heat them up, salsa was like the canned version.

Service was good as always , but food was not good this time The carnitas tacos were cold ( the tortillas)

Found this place in route on I-5 north. Great vibes great service, ladies at the front end were super nice. We had the cheeseburger and Philly cheesesteak, not super fancy but tasted good. Quick and very attentive service, we will be back if in area

Had a wonderful breakfast in Orland this morning! Courtney hooked us up with the best service, great big portions, and a contagious smile! We enjoyed our visit here, and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend as we left with our bellies full and a smile on our faces. Thanks Courtney for a great start to our holiday weekend. Salud!!!

The menu is awesome because it's more healthy with great options. I would like to come back in the future to sample their dinner menu! It's an expansive place and I believe family owned. Not only do they have a sleek restaurant and bar they also have a flower and gift shop next door and some delicious chocolates! This place even has a gated grassy area for your pets! Plus a barn for events! TAMMY was wonderful ( I think one of the owners) that showed pride of what they offer with her family! Everyone was so friendly and hospitable! Its a casual yet classy place for lunch and dinner. They have a shaded patio in front as well ( dog friendly). I love smaller towns! Relatively no traffic or crime! My boyfriend and I ordered off the lunch specials menu. He ordered the smash burger and chose macaroni salad. I ordered the grilled shrimp on a skewer with brown rice and spicy coleslaw. We always try each other's food! The smash burger was juicy and the macaroni salad was good! My shrimp had a nice grill on it and the coleslaw was delicious. The brown rice was alittle dry for my taste buds. It has a full bar with tvs to watch sports. There is quieter seating on the other side of the bar area. Overall it was a good experience! Great menu with plenty of speciality cocktails along with some craft beers! Staff is professional!

Their "croissant" sandwiches, however, were not really croissant and more like crescent dough. A bit too doughy at that; we thought the ratio of sandwich contents (ham and swiss) to dough was off. Since they make their items fresh daily maybe the consistency might change in the future? Don't think we'd get it again though. Other than that, their scones, cookies, and 7 layer bar were delicious. OK, is an easy place to gas up the gas hog Suburban too. I wanted to use my 2 for 1 burger coupon I got in the mail awhile back. I already used the 2 for 1 offers on a single patty burger and a breakfast biscuit sandwich. So, now I wanted to use the coupon for 2 Dave's double burgers. The regular price for a Dave's Double is $8.79, just for the burger! Whoa ... that seems a bit high for a fast food burger ... even a In N Out Double Double is just under $5 bucks! OK, with the 2 for 1 coupon it's just $4.40 per double patty burger. The server takes the coupon no prob and gives me my number. The other guys on my crew ordered other burgers and fries. These double burgers are pretty substantial, like I mean heavy, I could tell carrying the two on the tray. I know I can't eat both these burgers so I gave one away to someone on my crew. Each burger had 2 square meat patties, 2 slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato and catsup and mayo. They were less big across than say a Whopper. With two patties, this is a tall burger, I had to open really wide to put that meat in my mouth ... (Opps, did I really say that?). Well, open wide and it fits! The buns was a little squishy though. OK, back to how it tasted .... well, it was meaty for sure, but lacked that wow factor like what a Double Double has at In N Out on that first bite. There was no char flavor to the beef. It was quite filling though for sure, but for the regular price, almost $9 bucks just for the burger, no fries or drink included .... gotta say not worth it. But with the coupon it's an OK deal. The friend that I gave my second burger to, thought that same.
