The wait was long and according to the girls in the front they were so busy because this guy always calls off to "take his girlfriend to the doctors" upset she said can't she drive herself...."" No good. Took my daughter's out for breakfast before school and after eating their eggs my stomach started to hurt then my daughter complained of the same thing. I asked the host how they make them and she said they are already pre-mixed. If I want fresh eggs to ask next time. After paying for our food we spent 25 minutes stuck in the restroom. I just want to say how excellent this staff is trained, I have never ever in all my years seen something like I did today. A customer less fortunate I can assume came in and he was not stared down or frowned upon he was welcomed there like all the other customers he was given a cup from their restaurant with hot water for his little packet of coffee and when he used their creamer they didn't stop him no one made any type of fuss it just made my meal a whole lot better will definitely continue to go there. read more

I just left and I am completely satisfied !! My boyfriend and I wanted to do something different so we sat at the dining counter. It was an interesting experience. They were super busy but our server Anthony was AMAZING! He got our drink and food order quickly and our food was out quick (thank you cooks!) we got to see how they conquered the wave of high school students rolling in from homecoming. My wife and I, my daughter and son in law and two grandkids stopped in around 1030 PM on our way back to Indio after Fourth of July fireworks in Pomona. Denny's is...Denny's. Good decent diner food. Stick to the basics and you'll be aight. So this review is for the staff. Before walking inside I could see they were in the middle of a rush and expected that service may be a little slow, understandably, as there were only two servers. Our server was Nikesha. A very beautiful lady inside and out. She let us know right away about the rush crowd and it may take some time to get our orders and our food as there was only one cook. With that in mind, and as busy as she was, she was so very nice and thoughtful. She was patient and helpful. She kept our drinks full and attended to us as much as she could. And it wasn't just us. She treated all her tables the same way. Being a server is very hard and under appreciated. She is such a gem and an asset to the company. Deservingly I mention the other server was just as busy and holding it down. Props to the bus er who was doing his thing like no body's business. The last, but not the least, to the cook. He did an amazing job during rush time during the 4th of freaking July. I was going to write this review with solely Nikesha in mind but the entire crew I mentioned did an excellent-professional job. If i could give zero starts, I would. Server was very unorganized/slow. I can understand though. Night shift. You can be understaffed and overwhelmed, but my goodness! I haven't had this bad of customer service in the longest! Our sampler appetizer was cold (mozzarella sticks & boneless buffalo wings- that were just chicken tenders cut into small pieces!!). Double cheese burger was coo, but my bro got the chicken skillet and it was also cold!!!! When i think of skillet, i can literally hear the sizzling! The chicken was gross! He took a bit and so did I (small piece) and it was not it. We asked for the check and ask for it to be taken off. Our server (Staci), did take it off, but she went back to the chef yelling out that the chicken was chewy and gross. Mind you, everyone was listening cuz she was so loud. Idk if she was trying to be passive aggressive, but she could of handled that a lot better. We, along with some other tables were laughing. We even heard the cook upset that we sent it back. Never got utensils btw! Had to walk up and ask another server for a fork for him! Never got knives! we will never return to this location and i advise anyone coming here, fucking leave! Whatever I go home and they didn't even get my order right I'm missing food and didn't get what I paid for. I called back and after 15 minutes on the phone, I didn't reach the manager but was told I would get the food remade for me on next visit. So that's why I gave it 2 stars. Expect to wait 45 mins to even be acknowledged at the front desk to be seated when the restaurant is empty. They need to shut this location down. I understand that when going to Denny's I'm not going to get 5 start service but today was ridiculous. Slow service from sit to acknowledging the table. Ten host team was rude and did not acknowledge us. The bathroom was unstocked. No TP. I had to use a seat cover to wipe myself. The server could remember to bring us most of our meal. I had asked for lemon water. He said it was being cut but it didn't come. My husband asked for to go boxes but we initially had boxes that had food already in them and we had to request clean boxes. Came here with my good friend to have some late dinner, yet when we arrived we had to wait for quite awhile to be seated, and to top it off tables were dirty and not cleaned right away that the hostess was trying to place us in a dirty area. After being seated we were about to order after ordering and getting our food we notice that our drinks needed refill. It wasbawhile before we got our refills due to our server was totally unattentive to us but rather only to the other people. After calling our server out by saying excuse out loud we got our reefills. After our meal I went to pay and just like before we enter we had to wait awhile for the hostess to take our payment. The hosetess was busy with the foods and just leaving and watching customers pile up. It was quite a wait just to pay our bill. Our overall experience here in this Denny's location is HORRIBLE! Today Sunday after church w decided to hold to get breakfast at Denny's in Fontana, at the valley blvd. We were 2 adults and 5 children's. Finding a table was quick...than we wait more than 30 minutes, we ask why the waiting and they ask us why we were sitting here! One of the waitress sit us here, than they told us, there is no servant at the section. We approach to the manager and he was finding out who or why we were in the particular section.
