After celebrating my little cousin's graduation, my aunt and I stopped by Brandon's Diner in Fontana for a bite to eat, and it was a solid experience! First things first--there's plenty of parking, which is always a win. We were seated quickly, and the service was good throughout our visit. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which made for an enjoyable meal. For food, I ordered the taco salad, and my aunt went with the chili verde pork dinner. Both dishes were flavorful, satisfying, and definitely hit the spot after a day of celebrating. Of course, we had to grab a couple of drinks too. I ordered a cranberry mimosa, which was refreshing and delicious. My aunt ordered a michelada, and while it wasn't bad, the mix gave more Bloody Mary vibes than traditional michelada vibes. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and left happy. While nothing completely blew me away, everything was good, the service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Last few times I came and brought my family we've had issues either with the service or food! THIS time was most disappointing!! We waited for a table just to be told sit where we'd like..? Really.. I ordered the baked potato fajitas... Pretty simple right GUESS NOT Upon eating these clowns put tomatoes and cut them to where they looked like the bell peppers I'm freaken allergic to tomatoes and no one puts tomatoes on fajitas last time I came no tomatoes. I did not think I needed to tell them as they weren't in there the last 3 times I ate it. Also when it was time to leave the waitress asked one person if they wanted a Togo container and then walked away .. hello most of us did..! Walked in and ordered a to go Family pack me, and my kids were sitting in dining area waiting for our food. Once our food got served, I was told we couldn't stay inside and eat at tables I understood that I made a to go order, but it was too hot to eat outside. I asked even though I was a paying customer and they said according to policy that wouldn't be able to happen. Mind you there was absolutely nobody waiting to be seated and the place was not busy at all. My family member had also parked his bike by lobby entrance, that was also an issue after 20 minutes of sitting outside eating, one of the workers signaled and ask us if we could take the the bike out of the way when it was not in the way. The worker said either park it in the patio or next to you guys. That's where I had enough and I went in and spoke with manager, first time visiting this place. I will never go back, if I would've been someone way more outspoken or simply someone a different race or color maybe I would've gotten treated differently. My family and I will not be coming back unless the owner decides to change their policy on bariatric patient card acceptance. My son just had surgery and I have had it for a few years so I can sympathize for him. He was treated kindly by the waitstaff when we had a family meal yesterday with my husband, and other adult kids who were all paying REGULAR price and ordering off the ADULT menu. It was honored with no problem. We were a party of 6 so there was no money lost there. Well he chose Brandon's again since it's a favorite of our family this morning he was having breakfast with his partner and his adult siblings yet again ANOTHER big party of 6 with him being the ONLY one requesting the medically needed accommodation. He has the card issued and signed from his Dr. and he is was denied this accommodation per the owner. It was THEN said that ALL locations will NOT honor the accommodation. Fontanas location is in the center where the Kaiser bariatric counseling and clinic is located and Brandon's in Ontario is just on the other side of the 60 fwy of Kaiser Ontario Vineyard where the Bariatric surgery is offered for their local patients and they sometimes eat and their families will patronize while waiting for their surgery. So please make an informed decision whether you would patronize a business that supports your loved one who needs a medically necessary accommodation. read more

This review has to do with the price difference which makes no sense to me whatsoever. I usually go through the drive through and order my burrito, which is normally $5.95 plus tax. So this time I decided to order via phone, so when I went inside to pickup my order the price was $3.50 more just because I ordered over the phone. So I'm confused of the price difference, and they get a manager , which gave me no explanation of the difference, just that the price is cheaper via drive through. Also the manager was rude! I met two beautiful people here yesterday that are like parents to me, way before the sun came up. We were the first three people inside the restaurant as we were literally here at 5:50 am ready to pound the doors down. Lol. It's cool because this Brandon's is located in a shopping center right off of Sierra Ave in Fontana that I used to do Security at about 20 to 25 years ago. We were also celebrating my "Dad's" birthday!!! I was so glad to meet here at this very clean location. For breakfast, I ordered the $8.99 breakfast special. I had 2 delicious pancakes, 2 pieces of well done bacon, 2 eggs cooked over medium which was the special. I also did a side order of biscuits and gravy for us to share. To wash everything down, I had 2 cups of coffee. They had 3 different creamers I used...Hazelnut, French vanilla, and pumpkin spice. All 3 flavors are so good! I told them to get whatever they wanted. They are such a cute couple. Since Brandon's usually serves good sized portions, they ordered a Kitchen sink omelette and were able to get two sides with it...cottage cheese and fruit. "Dad" also had coffee and "Mom" had hot chocolate. I love that they give you free refills of both. All this food definitely filled us all up. The menu has a ton of options so be ready for a variety. Breakfast here is great. Sandwiches and burgers for lunch and dinner are great. They also serve beer and wine. Breakfast is my favorite here. The Philly cheesesteaks are good for lunch. Service is good and ambiance is just ok. read more

This has nothing to do with any server or waiter etc the food is good etc however I have Bariatric surgery and have a medical card so I can order a kids meal. I came and ordered it yesterday 08/30 no issues they even sympathized with me and gave me a kids menu etc. I came back today to find out the waitress was scolded because of it by the owner, and they stated "NO Brandon's will accept this card" I've had wonderful experiences here for years, but this has been such a huge disappointment for me especially since both of my parents had the surgery and would order from the kids menu and it seems that the same won't apply for others. read more

Went to Brandon's diner today for a buffalo wrap. The drive thru was fast and the employee that was very kind. She made sure I had ranch and peppers in the bag before I asked! This was my first time trying this diner and I almost went through the drive thru, but decided to dine-in for the full experience. The parking lot was full, which is always a good sign. I was greeted upon entry and informed of a 5 minute wait. There are a couple chairs for you to wait inside and restrooms for customers. You can choose to dine inside or outside. We were seated within 2 minutes and the booths were very comfortable. Our servers name was Giselle and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience for our first time. We let her know it was our first time and she helped out with her suggestions and gave us enough time to look over the menu. The menu was very extensive with a variety of food from American to Mexican breakfast. Breakfast and dinner are served all day and the portions are very large. I ordered the two taco combo and it was flavorsome. We also go the Belgium waffle with strawberries and bananas. Each topping cost $2 separately. It came out to $44 for two meals and two drinks. You're able to take your drink to go. They had the Mexico soccer game playing, which was a big plus. I'll definitely be back and try the Chile verde or menudo next time. I recently order shredded tacos for my family. The quality of the food has changed. The shredded beef used to be flavorful, recently the flavor isn't as good, the shells are overcooked and busted so what little filling fell out the bottom. Attention to detail is lacking, the order was placed for 12 tacos for a family of 4, 10 were received.
