Tonight I went with a healthier choice and ordered the blackened salmon, served with a baked potato, coleslaw, and a cup of tomato soup. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. If you're looking for something lighter that still fills you up, I definitely recommend the salmon. The best part of the visit, though, was seeing Shelly again. Shelly has waited on me many late nights while I was sitting in a booth building and editing my daughter's books. She has always been kind, welcoming, and never made me feel rushed, even when I was there working for hours. I've been holding this one off because I already knew the mid I would be met with. Any way it was late night and I was craving some mozzarella sticks and also got some sliders. The sliders were tender, the Kings Hawaiian bread helped and the meat had a nice little char. Overall a decent little snack to try. The mozzarella sticks on the other hand were hard, almost like they were frozen and the cheese was not quality, no type of pull to it, g filth. On my way to work, I decided to stop by Norms for breakfast, and it turned out to be a great choice. Since it was early, I didn't have to wait long to be seated or served. My server, Alicia, was excellent--friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of. I ordered the New York steak and eggs, which came with a stack of pancakes. I also requested my hash browns extra crispy. Unfortunately, when the hash browns arrived, they were crispy but cold, and the taste was a bit off, so I set them aside. A gentleman who I believe was the manager stopped by to check on my meal and asked if everything was okay. I explained the issue, and he immediately took care of it by bringing me a fresh order of hash browns. That's the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back. The Restaurant was nice and clean too. Overall, the food was good, and the service was even better. If you're in the area and looking for a solid breakfast spot, give Norms a try. Ate half and decided to pack the other half of steak home for my kids, They like their steak cooked well. Other than that my husband full rack ribs . A very busy Sunday morning when we decided to go eat breakfast at Norms. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Henry was our server and he made sure we had coffee, water and food was warmed to our liking. He would microwave any food that needed to be heated. First time visiting this Norms location with my husband and mother in law. Great service, our food was freshly made, came with large generous portions, & left us feeling full and satisfied. The inside of the restaurant was so cute, has a nostalgic vibe to it with comfortable seating that's plenty. I had the chilaquiles rojo with iced coffee & side order of avocado & fried jalapeño. Norm's doesn't disappoint when it comes to the Garlic Chicken Mushroom Alfredo. This particular order was delivery and my food was very neatly and expertly packaged. The noodles were in a separate dish underneath the bread, so that the bread stayed crisp and fresh. This order also came with a side salad and gumbo soup. It's a really filling meal for less than $20. I couldn't even eat it all, had to save the soup and salad for the next day. The garlic mushroom Alfredo is creamy, it's warm, it soothes your soul. The sautéed mushrooms are my favorite part and I think I'll request extra next time (add'l charge). The chicken is actually sad. It doesn't have any color to it, so maybe it's boiled? Not sure, but if the chicken was blackened, then this would be a 5-star review. I actually removed the chicken and ate the dish without it. The cheese bread is a thick slice of bread topped with butter and Parmesan cheese and then griddled until crisp on top. So fattening but oh so good. Worth the extra calories. read more

GREAT COLD BREW! I'm obsessed with the Norms cold brew atm. It's so tasty and has been brewing for over 18 hrs! I love the cinnamon vanilla flavor the best, it's got the right amount of spice and sweetness. The cold brew is served in a mason jar with a straw. I absolutely adore the ability to get refills, especially when I'm in need of a boost! I ordered a veggie skillet (my go-to) w/ my brew, it's a perfect combo. I highly recommend a skillet if you want a hearty meal. Service was solid and the patrons at the Rialto location are pretty mellow. I was surprised when i received a compliment on my outfit from a fellow customer, so sweet! I came with family and we had a great time, it's the perfect place to chat and have a comfortable bite. I would say the food is decent when I go here. It's very inconsistent on portion size and freshness, especially for the price of the food. Majority of the time I go after work because it's the only place open and the employees are extremely rude to the point. It's not welcoming to go there. The location is clean and presentable, which is a plus. And I would say at least 70% of the time the food is pretty good as far as freshness and portion sizes as stated on the menu. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Worth the visit despite the low Yelp score. My husband and I finally decided to try Norms in Rialto, even though the Yelp rating sits at 3 stars. For a chain restaurant, I'd confidently give this place a solid 4/5 for breakfast. This was my first time ever having Norms, while for my husband, it was a nostalgic return--this used to be his go-to spot as a teenager living in LA. We've driven past this location many times and noticed it's always packed, which made us curious. We stopped by on a weekday around 10:30 AM for a late breakfast. There was about a 15-minute wait, which wasn't bad at all considering how busy it looked. What We Ordered: Steak & Eggs with Apple Cinnamon Pancakes (husband) Country Fried Steak with Strawberry Pancakes (me) Let's talk about those pancakes first--WOW. Hands down some of the best pancakes we've had. Soft, fluffy, airy, and packed with flavor. Both versions (apple cinnamon and strawberry) were absolutely delicious and honestly made the meal. Service: Service was amazing. Our server was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Constant water refills, checking in to make sure everything was okay, and even though we didn't order coffee, we noticed someone walking around consistently with a coffee pot refilling cups. Really appreciated that kind of attentiveness. The Steak Incident: When my husband ordered his steak and eggs, he asked for medium rare, but when it arrived, it was definitely well done--even though it had a stick saying "medium rare." There was no pink at all. We let our server know, and he handled it immediately and professionally. The steak was taken back, no fuss, and came back out perfectly cooked in very little time. And honestly? That T-bone steak was incredible--juicy, tender, and full of flavor. One of the best steak breakfasts we've had in a long time. My country fried steak was good too--just a little on the salty side, but still enjoyable. Final Thoughts: With so many breakfast spots and chains out there, I have to say Norms really earned its place near the top of my list. It's affordable, satisfying, and worth the money. We absolutely love norms, most of the time we come in after 10 and get Renee.. we love her, she's so cute and put together, perfect makeup, pretty lashes and always has a smile. The other night we went in b4 10 so we had Itzel. I felt bad because I had just got out of the hospital and I didn't know what I wanted so I ordered coffee with ur awesome vanilla creamer.. unfortunately when I was done with my coffee I found something peculiar at the bottom of the cup.. as soon as I showed her she apologized, and got me a replacement immediately. She really was very patient with us because we couldn't figure out what we wanted.. especially me. I had mine to go plus a soup for my mom at home. Or when we asked for more of anything. It's like a lot dealing with 3 of us that have adhd.. all over the place.. trying to order can be frustrating. We kept apologizing, she'd reply "It's ok you're fine" and smile.. Anyways Itzel was so polite through our stay and all of us agree that when we go in we're asking for her or Renee. We go in at least 1x a month. Sometimes more.. French toast always gets me, or the chicken gumbo.. omg the gumbo is absolutely amazing!! Oh and the salads holy moly. We have visited a handful NORMS throughout Southern California, but since coming out to the Inland Empire, the Rialto location has become a favorite of my family. We dined at the Rialto location recently for brunch and had a great experience overall. The restaurant overall was clean. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. The food was also tasty. This experience at the NORMS in Rialto was a positive one to start off our day. NORMS is located in the Renaissance Marketplace in Rialto. There is plenty of free parking for customers shared among the other businesses in the shopping center. At the time of our most recent visit, there was a small wait, but we were promptly seated within the estimated time we were told we would be seated. Our dining experience was positive overall due to our server Chavez. She was friendly, attentive, and quick with requests. Our order consisted of the - Country Fried Steak and Eggs - 1/2lb New York Steak Trio Our meal was good and cooked to the specifications we asked for. Both items are on their Limited Time Offer menu, so hopefully they stay around a little longer because my husband and I really enjoyed what we ordered. I use to love this place but man last time the manager was very rude a disrespectfuli decided to give it a other chance so I came for breakfast everyone was drenched in oil the eggs were drama oily my kid didn't even eat them she said she had to drink water after her bite. I never understood the concept of redoing/recooking my food when the first time was cooked wrong. Like, if it's the same cook in the back, wouldn't he just mess it up again? Anyway, for sure, the service was fine, she was nice. I'm pretty sure they forgot to put in my order of wings until I brought it up, bc I'm not a rocket scientist, but I think that's suppose to come out first bc it's technically an app dish? I ordered medium rare steak, and the inside was rare, actually raw tbh; I wish I took that picture ‍. The cook definitely put the heat too high, and just cooked the outside, bc it was nearly charred, but the inside was raw. The baked potato and the chicken gumbo were actually really good though, I enjoyed that. I'll try again and maybe order something different, maybe it was a bad day, hopefully it'll be better next time and I'll re-review this. read more

We came at 6 am on Saturday; the ambiance is really nice, quiet and cozy place to get early breakfast. They open 24/7 which is great. We ordered veggies skillet and steak combination with wings and fried shrimp. My veggie skillet is quite bland and doesn't look very appealing. T bone steak is on thin side and actually tastes okay; broccoli looks old. Crispy shrimp is good and the wings also taste great which I expected. Service is great; she is very attentive and nice.
