Whats this? ANOTHER 5 star Denny's review!? It is SO!!! Typical Denny's decorum. Everything really clean yada yada yada. I don't know if I've just been getting lucky across country lately or if Denny's is stepping their game up. I've had a day, let me tell you. Had a minor breakdown issue today, got here 4 hours later than I wanted to, I had Booth bucks from the app, and I ordered a free appetizer which somehow got routed to a Denny's 150 mi away, and which I called them to cancel and they couldn't cancel it just to add to my frustration for the day. BUT, here I am enjoying one of the best if not THE best sizzling skillets I've ever had across this nation. And guess what? IT WAS ACTUALLY SIZZLING. VERY rare occurrence! And not only that, it was a perfect portion, because I subbed extra broccoli in place of potatoes. I forgot to order eggs atop my skillet, but they were nice enough to go in there and make a couple for me! I also ordered a side salad. EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER I dealt with on this visit are the Pinnacle of Denny's servers, period. The cook, is also on his A game. I'm sort of glad that my appetizer got switched to a different location, because there's no way I would have been able to finish everything. At other low rate Denny's, when I ordered the skillet, it's usually so skimp, I have to order another meal to go along with it but I'm already getting full and I'm not even finished with this one yet. Thank you guys for being the silver lining of my day. I'm here for a couple days, so I will be popping in for breakfast or lunch! Went here for hubby's birthday breakfast. Was waited on by waitress Jackie. She was an unbelievable fantastic waitress. Patient, cause I can be a pain, she was determined to get my hash browns the way I wanted and succeeded, which isn't easy. The coffee was so good. I ordered chocolate banana pancakes with a cheese and ham omelet, with sausage and well done hash browns. Everything was delicious! Hubby ordered the nachos, and I tasted them and they were great also. Yes he loved them too! Overall it was busy, yet the food still didn't take long to come out. Can't brag enough about our waitress Jackie though. The best! We will return to this Denny's for sure! read more

Wasn't really busy there were tables that needed to be cleaned. Received egg omelette was almost finished before the toast arrived. Everything is always great!! I've been coming here for about 3 years!! My girls serve me with great energy & the service is always up to par! Their manager is always checking on customers & making sure everything comes out great. Food is always good, especially the crepes because it's my regular go too. I got the hotdog with mayonnaise on top that was super creamy!! I just love sliding the whole dog in my mouth and sucking on it!! The mayonnaise was super rich and creamy which I loved very much!! The waitress was super nice and said put extra mayonnaise on it for me!! read more

I placed a simple Door dash order, build your own slam, unfortunately this must have been too complex because half of what I ordered was missing and there were things in place that would not be eaten even if I had nothing else to eat. I don't understand how 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage and 2 slices of toast can go so horribly wrong and drink that was ordered never showed up. When they do it right, Denny's is hard to beat! And the Denny's in Haines City does it right. The servers are attentive and pleasant. The kitchen puts out a hot and delicious breakfast and the dining area is nice and clean. read more

I'm pretty sure most people have to been to a Denny's at some point or another, so the review may be a little unnecessary. However, let me tell you what I like about this specific Denny's. This Denny's is inside the Pilot Travel Center. It is relatively new and very clean. The service is quick and efficient. My dad like to come here for breakfast and they have bisucuits and gravy for only $2. They have a great $2, $4, $6 menu which offers some nice deals. They are open all the time. My family actually ate Christmas dinner here. (No joke!) The milkshakes are great here and they give you the extra metal container. I also love the chicken fingers here because they are a little spicy. The mac n cheese is also surprisingly good. read more

Best Denny's I've been to. Carrie took great care of me and my wife. She even saved me a few dollars. I've been to plenty Denny's all over the USA, because I'm a truck driver. I placed an online order which was never even attended to. I went to pick it up since delivery wasn't being offered that day. The receptionist was an Indian woman whom I can't recall her name. She was so clueless and passive that she was unable to get any assistance from the staff. The waiting area was full yet the dining room was empty enough to have those guests seated. She was telling everyone the wait was 15 minutes meanwhile people had been there for over 30 minutes. She even told a party of 4 that she recommended that they go eat somewhere else. Those were her actual words. A woman waiting told her that she had been waiting and it would be nice if they could be seated and at least get juice or coffee while they waited and looked over the menu. The hostess kept going back and forth and was brushed off by the staff that were too busy to give her an answer. My online order wasn't even taken. She kept telling me 15 minutes. After awhile I told her forget it because I could see nothing was being taken care of. A waitress named Lexi came up the register to cash out her check and tab and was cursing. She told the hostess "no! I'm not taking anymore tables?! Why? So you guys can seat them and take my tip?! I don't think so, F*** that." In front of everyone waiting. They were so unorganized and unprofessional that I think anyone in the waiting area could have done the job with more class, respect and customer service. They definitely need a huge revamp of staff members and education in customer service. Will never go here again. read more

Dennys in Haines city is a grate place to visit the service is grate my waitress is grate the eggs and coffee crepes are to die for the grist and sausages taste like they were frozen before preparing to serve but that's ok over All the servers and host are amazing I think I'll return I haven't wrote a restaurant review in a while I'll return not for the grits or the sausages but over all amazing place. I visited this Denny's location while I was passing through the area and food was good. However the time it took to get the food was a different story. We waited almost an hour for our two burgers. It was worth the wait but I was on a schedule and ended up falling behind. The server was very friendly and apologetic about the wait. read more

Awesome - they have a two seater booth area in the back where truckers can sit away from the parties with screaming youngsters. There weren't any while I was there, just sayin'..... As far as Denny's goes, I enjoyed this one. I didn't like that we were seated so close to the door but it's no big deal. My only complaint is a member of our party didn't receive silverware. However our waitress Gabrielle was so sweet and she did a very good job. I got an American slam and it was very very good as usual. I've got to say my friend let me try some of his ranch dressing and the ranch dressing there is really really good!!! read more

It has been a while since I have been to a Dennys. This one is attached to a truck stop so Im sure it gets a good amount of business. The food was just ok, but my second cup of coffee was served cold. I didnt get a warm one until I had finished my meal. Our card got double charged. I called later and they were able to get it worked out and issued the refund, so I was thankful for that prompt service. All in all, I dont know the next time I will go to a Denny's. read more

This particular Denny's right on Rt. 27 off the I-4 West exit ramp is OK. Food has not disappointed the 3 times visited, but service is always slow and toy machines out front never work properly for kids to enjoy some stuffed animals, etc. Too be fair, we have visited another Denny's in St. Cloud and service was slow as well as they are run with minimal crew. read more

$2 per egg ala cart??? I added 2 eggs to my breakfast of pecan waffles and sausage. Anyway, I always like Denny's so the food was ok here at this location. The service itself was excellent and the server was very pleasant, and while I couldn't deal with the taste of the glass of water, I was successful in getting some coffee to go with the meal. Couldn't believe the bill though and mentioned it to the young man at the register, who worked on it as a combo of some sort and brought the total down by 30%. Don't usually like writing reviews for chain places but I felt compelled. I hadn't been to a Denny's in a while and this experience reminded me why. First of all you should know that the pictures are never going to be as good as what you really get. Knowing this I still got a skillet meal that looked nice and filling....it wasn't. Also if you are really hungry and just can't wait for your food DO NOT get a skillet meal because that sucker come out literally sizzling, which is kinda cool, but you have to give a good amount of extra time you you don't burn your tongue off. But burning my tongue off wasn't too bad because I just cooked if off with a bad cup of cold coffee. Yes they literally served us cold coffee, and charged us for it. But of course not before getting our order all wrong on the bill. I mean it's a Denny's connected to a truck stop so really you can't expect much, which is why I'm not giving it a one star. Love breakfast at this locale. Have been there numerous times and always receive courteous service and usually pretty quick too. You cannot beat the price for what you get, especially if you are a member of AARP and get a 15% discount. I eat there frequently and have never been disappointed. read more

A group I'm involved with has regular, at least monthly, meetings here, ranging from 5 to 25 people with individual checks. We are always treated with friendly faces and respect. Pat typically takes care of us and she never loses track of who gets what and always get our bills right. The food is very well prepared and at the appropriate temperature when served. There are a lot of restaurants around this intersection, but we choose this one because of the quality service and food we receive. read more
