I haven't been to this Denny's in a long time. Quite honestly, I wont go back to this Denny's either. It was a Monday mid morning so not busy. The hostess asked me how many in my party then stood by the register and pointed which table I should seat myself at rather than seating me. It took an unusually long time for my order to come. In fact, my waitress came to the table twice to tell me it shouldn't be much longer. I joked the second time saying, the cook must have gone on break or something. She replied "he just came back". She was completely serious. When I did get my order, it was wrong. I just scraped that part to the side. Not once did she come to the table to see how I was doing. I noticed the sign saying "under new management". Unfortunately , the parking lot had some homeless literally camping out and garbage spread everywhere. Wow! Things certainly have gone downhill here in the past few years. The one positive was that the food was good. read more

Denny's is one of the few diner type places in the area that I know of with a gluten free bread option, which is why I ordered delivery (via DoorDash) from there this morning. I got a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and a gluten free English muffin. The omelette was good, but a little undercooked. The flavors are on-point though. The hash browns were the right combination of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The English muffin, although it arrived cold, was the best thing about the meal. It's also why I gave four stars instead of three. It has a good texture very close to a regular English muffin and was well buttered. It could have been packaged better though since it wasn't warm. The potion was enough for one meal. I'm the kind of person who likes entrees big enough to stretch out over multiple meals (to help justify the added delivery costs) and that's not the case with Denny's. So there's not as much value for money as there is with other places, but it met my expectations. All in all, I'd be willing to order from there again and happy to have it as an option. read more

The manager needs additional customer service training. The first thing she said was "did you read the sign on the door?" We said " are you not open?" She said " if you read the sign you would see I don't have a cook for 35 minutes, he's on lunch, sometimes he's 10 minutes late coming back" . TMI and unprofessional. The not was written in pen ink on a piece of notebook paper, above eye level. She needs to learn how to properly make a sign and communicate with people. We understand the cook has a right to a break and that's understandable. However, the manager refused to let anyone sit until the cook walks back through the door. One woman in a wheelchair wanted to be seated, but this manager said "no" and had an attitude of go somewhere else. I think I can see why Dennys is struggling financially if other locations have this same type of manager. I would like to return to this location, however, not with her as manager. There's lots of other options for dining and I wish the dozen customers that left because they would not be allowed to sit. read more

If I could give this place a zero stars I would! The manager Latasha is extremely rude my boyfriend and I had waited over an hour and and we were next on the list and they had sat someone that had just walked through the door and when I brought it up the lady said "that's my customer that comes in every day so yeah I just sat him" and I asked her how that is fair to people that have been waiting over an hour. So, I generally don't do these kinds of things because I am also in the service industry but after hearing how my sister was treated I have to say something. She went in today and ordered breakfast, pancakes with raspberries and whipped cream and also hash browns. When it came out, she started eating her pancakes and saw an inch long white hair. I advised her to send it back, and the server told her 'well I can't see it but okay'. He then returned to the table with the same plate and said 'oh it's a fiber from the raspberries.' I asked my sister to send me a photo and this hair IS LONG AND WHITE. This is clearly not a fiber from a raspberry and if it is, I'd like to know where they are getting them from. My sister did not finish her meal and I told her if she did not feel comfortable talking to the server, to talk to the people in the front taking payment and they would help her out. She spoke to one woman who said 'okay, I'll talk to my manager and get it taken off of your bill.' The manager then also told my sister that this was a fiber from the raspberries. It is very clear it is NOT A FIBER from the RASPBERRIES. He was very rude and treated them poorly the entire time they were talking. The thing is, these things happen. It's normal. It doesn't mean anyone did anything wrong, it just means a hair fell out. The way they handled this was completely inappropriate. I've been to this place under the previous owners and it was terrible. Not just the servers but also the food wasn't cooked properly and our order was always wrong. The new owners are doing a great job. I love the servers. They are friendly and strive for excellence. My only complaint was the male cook last night (July 3rd). We ordered beef nachos but they were out of cooked ground beef and he declined to make more. At the suggestion of the server we then requested carnitas nachos. When the cook brought out food he slapped the plates on the table. I thanked him at which he abruptly turned and walked away with a mad face, saying nothing. It gave me flashbacks to the previous ownership. The nachos came with onions which we had requested they leave off. I want to give a shout out to the female cook. She is very friendly and customer oriented. She is one of the first people we encountered under the new ownership and she was the primary reason we started coming back. read more

Seriously, night time server here (I think her name is Trish maybe) is INCREDIBLE. She is often on her own and she handles all of her tables like a boss. Tonight we dined in (12:30-1:30ish am) and she got two large parties- our server was actually Robin, but I digress... Trish(?) kept a smile on her face while a 12+ top disrespected her and complained about their wait and cussed loudly while conversing while the whole dining room could hear them. As a server myself who comes to this Denny's from out of town because of her great service, I wanted to get up and tell the table to shut up and have a little respect, maybe in some more aggressive words... Dennys, if you are reading this, I want you to know that a long time ago when I was a college student I came to your restaurant and ordered a lot of food, dessert, and coffee while studying for my finals. The manager came and kicked me out for reading. I was not there for an extended amount of time. He said, "Go find a library because you can't study here." I am proud to say that I have not been back to Denny's since. I am now a working professional with a disposable income and I chose not spend my money with you. Once my department wanted to have a meeting at your restaurant and I talked them out of it. My advice is to be nice to your customers. Went there during the COVID quarantine. Horrible experience and will never be coming back. Very limited menu for no reason. Only wanted to serve really simple breakfast items. There prices for what you got were ridiculous. $13 dollars for a small omelette.There are definitely better breakfast places for those prices like biscuits cafe, which is wayyy better. I really struggled to figure out whether to give my experience today at Denny's a 2 or a 3. It is Christmas today and my family and I went there to eat since we plan to have our in-home Christmas dinner tomorrow. The waiter, Cody, was wonderful. He was very nice and quick and tried his best to give us good service even though the restaurant was very busy. When he made a mistake, he tried to rectify it immediately and was kind and gracious and apologized when he made a mistake. He seems to be a hard-working, kind young man. Our experience up until the end of the meal was pretty good and the food was fine. My partner and I are regulars at the restaurant and the food is usually better than today's was but it was very busy. The part of our experience that was COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE was that as we were leaving, I noticed a homeless woman shivering sitting inside the restaurant and the manager trying to make her leave. I asked her if she was hungry and I offered to buy her a meal. When I told the manager, I would pay for her meal, he said that the woman was not allowed in his restaurant because she has eaten and not paid in the past and that is theft. I said that I was paying for the meal but he refused to allow her to eat even though I was going to pay for it. Others in the restaurant suggested I buy the food to go and I thought that was a good idea. The manager said that there was no food to go and refused to sell me food for the woman. This is very sad. It is Christmas Day and the manager couldn't even have enough compassion for this homeless woman to allow someone to buy food for her. He was also quite rude. Homeless people are human beings and we can't just kick them out and pretend they don't exist. Our society and the greed of a few has created and increased homelessness until it is the current crisis that it is and then we can't even offer someone a meal on Christmas Day. This is completely unacceptable. We must have compassion for each other and the basic rights of each human being including food and shelter at the very least. I hope the manager hears about this and at least will reflect on his actions. For myself and my family I'm not sure if we will go back to this Denny's to eat or not but I also plan on putting a post on Facebook so that others know about this. It pains me to think about this total lack of compassion. The story has a somewhat happy ending, however. One of the customers in the restaurant ended up giving the homeless woman some leftovers she had. Thank you for your kindness and compassion! Hopefully others will be positively impacted by your actions. For me, I will continue to work to help those who need my help and pray for the homeless and others who are most in need. Update 4/12/19 Brittany is a bad server. Coffee ice cold and couldn't get her attention no matter how hard we tried. She was more content to roll silverware than to make sure her customers were happy. No refills on drinks and I ended up having to give my water to my son as he couldn't get more milk. Should I have to bring my own gallon of milk in to make sure my boys don't run out? I have been a server and customers come before side work especially if you want to make good tips. I'm sorry but this is not acceptable--for 40 bucks we do deserve refills at least once. Needless to say we didn't appreciate the way we were treateRude servers cussing at us under their breaths so loud we can hear it. Takes people who came in after us and seats them/takes their order while we are still waiting! Waitress didnt check back with me and just handed me the check after I had raised my disatisfaction of the meal with another waitress who said she would speak to my waitress. Took my concerns to the HOSTESS (who was EFFICIENT and WONDERFUL) and asked to speak to the manager. Hmm. The horribleness of last night's experience may have been attributed to our party size being approximately 25 oddly garbed, strange talking, people your parents warned you about types. After a long session of LARPing we were hungry, in dire need of caffeine, and an"afters" discussion on how the evenings event went. It took about 15 minutes for the first of to even have our orders taken, and another 15 before the first drink was served. After that, you had to practically get down on your knees and beg for a coffee or soda refill as the waiter did his best to not look in the table's general direction lest he be required to actually help one of us. Completely unimpressed with the quality of food, my omelet was cold by the time it was presented to me, and rather sloppy looking. From the comments made from one end of the table to the other, I was not alone in the disappointment. The service was terrible!!! The wait was more then an hour after we ordered our food. Then the waitresses were giving use dirty looks and they were smirking at us, while we waited for the food. The fries were under cooked, the nachos were soggy, and all the other food was cold! The waiter was racist. When we asked to speak to the manger we sat at the table for 15 more minutes. If you're going to charge 10 dollars per plate then you better be on par with places like Biscuits and Cadillac Cafe.
