I've been wanting to stop in here for quite a while now, and I was finally able to today while visiting a friend nearby. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. However, the parking lot can be awkward because of the drive-through coffee truck where lines form in the middle of the parking area. First off, it is extremely cold inside this restaurant! I'm not sure why the air conditioning was on?! It's January and 37° outside. Maybe they don't want patrons dining in?! We decided to get our food to go and eat it somewhere more comfortable. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. I ordered a plate with 1/2 teriyaki chicken and 1/2 garlic chicken. It came with 2 scoops of rice and 1 scoop of mac salad. They have a bar area where you can add more sauce or put extra sauce in little cups with lids to take home with you. It was a generous portion for $11. The chicken was good. It was made with chicken thighs, so there were a few fatty pieces. I prefer chicken breast, but I didn't see that option there. The garlic chicken was kind of a bummer. It was super hard, and the chicken was super dry. The garlic flavor was good, though. The mac salad stole the show. It was super yummy! Overall, it was an okay first experience. It may just be personal preference. I enjoy other Hawaiian establishments in this area more, so I will most likely not return.

I was craving spam musubi, but unfortunately Roxy's doesn't offer it, which was okay since I just opted for the Spam & Eggs Plate Lunch & it was great. The spam had a teriyaki sauce cooked into them, which was nice. My fiancé ordered the Kalbi Chicken Plate Lunch. The char on the chicken from the grill was fantastic, which added great flavor. He was also a fan of his side of noodles!

So glad to have a Roxy's close by now & it took me way too long to visit. I really enjoy their Hawaiian food with the teriyaki and pineapple chicken being my favorite dishes. I tried the garlic chicken for the first time and it was delicious! I liked the crispiness to it and the garlic wasn't overpowering. The menu has a nice variety of plates, getting to choose from chicken, pork or beef with sides of rice, veggies, Mac salad & noodles. I like that you can mix up your sides or double them. They also have sandwiches and burgers. Looking forward to the next visit!

We started off with the Brussels sprouts which were crispy bites of flavor in your mouth. The peppers add a little heat. The sauce has a sweetness to it. Combine all three together and perfection. We ordered four rolls. A traditional spicy tuna. The tuna was not ground up tuna which I have gotten at other many places but beautiful pieces with crispy cucumber to give it more texture and a nice heat but not so overpowering you lose the flavor of the tuna. The bamboo dragon was the least favorite of the table . Too much combined together and not enough flavor all at the same time. The sunset was the prettiest looking one. I felt the heat level took away from the flavor of the fish masking it too much for me. The unicorn which I asked for no cilantro was my favorite of the evening. The combination of the fishes with the seasoning of the oil was wonderful. I didn't even need the soy sauce. I of course tried all with the soy sauce and without to ensure I tasted them all both ways. Service was friendly and we were there towards closing so despite being asked to close out our bill we were told we could sit as long as we liked to talk. Overall very fresh and flavorful.

It made the dish unnecessarily greasy and they didn't add any flavor or texture that enhanced the dish. Confetti of lentils - five stars! Superb flavor for everything. Lentils were awesome and the red peppers had a smokey vinegar flavor which reminded me of pizza! Would absolutely order again. Black Cod special - unfortunately we were very disappointed with this one! For the $38 price tag you get a speck of fish, which was cooked to perfection but poor flavor, and the edemame puree didn't help mask it. The bar has an awesome atmosphere too. Especially once it gets dark outside the mood of the bar becomes even more intimate and inviting. View is stunning in the daytime so you can't go wrong anytime of day. Janice was a peach as a server and Molly the manager was a doll to work with with our gift card hiccup. Overall I give this a 4.5 but was happy to round up to a five. Next time I'd want to try more appetizers.

The bartender seemed irritated at my question of did they have a pinot gris in the happy hour menu. "no, only chardonnay". And, when I asked for a taste - also seemed to irritate him. The food is great here - that is without question, which is why we went. And, it didn't disappoint. However - receiving the bill - there is a weird ADDED $1.25 for a "Hosting Fee"... Hosting Fee??? what the heck is thattttt. (if you google it will tell you that it's for 'helping the employees' basically) What? Then, I had gotten a regular non-premium martini. It says in menu Well Drinks are $8. A regular martini is just their well vodka and should be that. The charge for the martini was $12.00! Never going back - the service was lously.
