I am a long time fan of this Dennys in Key West off Roosevelt. When we had a hard day at work on boats it was and is a retreat when we just want good food fair prices and don't have time to cook. Normally I like to go on the off hours when it's not busy. Free parking and lots of friendly faces. I enjoy Fern and recently L A came down from another restaurant up the keys. It's like the old show Cheers. Today I had holiday dinner. Right now don't have a way to cook something like this. Thanks ! read more

This location was nice. The wait was long once we were sat. The waitress made us aware that they were a bit backed up in the kitchen. This location has an indoor bar. I thought was cool but fitting for the location. I think this is the only Dennys on the island. read more

We enjoy sitting at the bar when our server/bartender Jackie is there. Her fun friendly personality makes our visits enjoyable. She is the hardest worker I know. I recently had breakfast at Denny's in key West. The service was great! The server was friendly, courteous and efficient. The food was delicious. I had the FitSlam - it was made with egg whites, spinach and tomato, turkey bacon, an awesome English muffin and fruit salad. The English muffin was better than Thomas English muffins. The service was quick and fast. We were seated right away and offered coffee or orange juice to start. We chose the coffee but it wasn't the best. I ordered the new breakfast slam the Berry Slam special that comes with Belgian waffles with fresh fruit and powdered sugar. The waffles are delicious and don't need syrup. The eggs were decent as well as the bacon and sausage but nothing exciting. Overall this is a good place to get breakfast if you're in the area. read more

The service was okay but when we got our food it was inedible. we told our server and she took our food and said shed have it taken off our bill, which then took another 15 minutes to come out. but while discussing it with her manager i overheard the manager tell her not to take the food off even though all i had eaten of my meal was the eggs and i had taken a bite of the french toast before realizing it wasn't edible. when i finally got the bill and was able to pay, the manager "Jennifer" told me she wasn't going to take my food off of the bill and instead gave me a whole 2 dollars off of the food that i DID NOT EAT. i then told her that it doesn't make sense for me to pay for food that wasn't eaten and she walked away from me, her entire attitude was snarky and rude she handled herself very unprofessionally and offered me absolutely no help. coming from a server myself , if you cannot learn how to be attentive and hospitable then you should not be working in the service industry. read more

The prices are good, the portions are huge. I do really recommend to go there if you are very hungry. I ordered the sandwich with some French fries and my friend took pancakes, we also had juices and coffee, we paid for all of it like about 30 dollars and I was actually finishing my breakfast the next day in the morning because half of the plate was left and I just took it to my hotel. read more

We had a very good breakfast and service. Collectively was very good. I forget the woman's name up at the bar but she was amazing, wonderful full of life and energy and was totally amazing. Upon initial arrival the hostess (sporting beautiful long blue hair and a scowl) is lacking severely in people skills. She didn't ask how many were in our party, just grabbed a couple of menus and walked away. We weren't even quite sure whether we were supposed to follow her or not. She set the menus on a table and walked away, never turning to speak to us a single time. Try smiling, saying hello or good morning, something to indicate that you realize you're in the hospitality industry. She'd be better equipped in the back washing dishes away from people. The location and the fact there is a full bar has great perks, however I would never return or recommend this Denny's in the Winn Dixie shopping center due to the staff, who mostly are drunk or on some pills they drop everything, ignore you, and the worst part the owner does nothing but continue to bring them back and ignores how many good customers will not return. read more

A lot of people see Denny's and pass them by. We like Denny's. No it's not because we're old. But this Denny's here on Roosevelt in Key West, the staff is so cheery and helpful, they are always looking out for my service dog, and actually the food is very very good! Most of the time we go there for breakfast, they'll be getting to know us now lol And I get the 55+ omelette with shell eggs. I'm always afraid that I'll be some wheat if I use the mixes. Wheat and Rita do not mix. They stuff it with tomato and cheese and onions and bacon. I mean what else could be better? I get crispy hashbrowns and believe it or not, a gluten-free English muffin! One night we were out and weren't able to get home in time to make anything so we decided we would try Denny's for dinner. Don't know the name of what I got but it was chicken on vegetables spicy with jalapeños and I'm telling you it was probably in the top 15 best things I've ever eaten in my life. I almost got it for breakfast the other day. They also use regular prices, Not Key West prices and that was a big thing for me. Plus if you go on their app they have coupons.
