It was one of those meals where you immediately know you picked the right place. Just as impressive was the staff--the service was impeccable, and everyone we interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we came back later for happy hour and dinner, and somehow it was just as impressive. The staff made us feel right at home again. The macaroni and shrimp was amazing perfectly cooked it was hot when it came out rich and creamy. The waiter was so nice and was funny and made the experience better tenfold. Geri was a great server! The food here is outstanding. You will definitely not leave hungry. Outstanding flavor of the grits, homemade strawberry jam and the biggest cup of coffee you have ever seen. Everybody online raves about Blue Heavens breakfast but the real winner was a small little diner on the corner of Simonton Street called Sarahbeth's. Absolutely DELICIOUS breakfast spot in Key West! My family visited about 9am on a weekday morning and were able to be seated right away on the patio which was really beautiful! My husband and I started with spicy bloody marys- very good! I ordered the breakfast sandwich the comes with breakfast potatoes- either I was very hungry or it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever eaten. My husband had the key lime French toast which he really enjoyed too. Our son had a side of scrambled eggs with an English muffin and he scarfed it down! The blueberry muffin was the best I've ever had! My wife enjoyed her lemon ricotta pancakes. Service was good. We were greeted right away, had water ordered and our order was taken promptly. This is the perfect Key West breakfast spot. Although it's kind of small, the high ceilings and table spacing don't make you feel cramped. Nicolas provided awesome service and was very knowledgable about the menu, he provided excellent recommendations. The food was delicious. I tried - Lobster Spinach Omelette - Generous amount of fresh lobster and avocado. I think there was also spinach in here as well as a delicious light tomato based sauce. This was very flavorful. I loved that it came with a blueberry muffin as well, which was a nice sweet contrast to the savory omelette. This isn't on their menu, it was a special. 5/5 ($28) Their coffee was exceptionally good as well. I also tried their surf and turf Benedict which was tasty. Mimosas were good but on the pricey side. This place was right next to where we stayed so we stopped in for brunch one day! We almost even went a second day it was so good. We both got bloody Mary's and they were excellent.
