I'm only giving one star because I have to I order to leave a review. I just recently relocated here and this is my second time eating at this establishment. The first I ordered a Strawberry Banana Belgian Waffle. When my food arrived it was only the strawberries. I called and spoke with the person who answered the phone and they were apologetic. I said it's okay I understand, we are human and everyone makes mistakes. Well here it is two weeks later and I'm craving something sweet but I'm not a big candy person so I said to myself, let me order some pancakes. I go online to see exactly what I wanted, I scroll across a picture that I think would absolutely kill my craving...(pregnant woman on the prowl here) so I call and place my order and the lady who answers the phone(Ariana) places my order. I order the Salted Caramel pancake with chocolate chips and the bacon and etc. She tells me it'll be ready in about 10 minutes(9:25 to 9:42pm). So I'm in my head I'm like yes!!!! I'll eat this and be sleep in no time being that I have work at 5am. So I get there and the server( Gregory the Night Manager) is placing my order in the bag. As he is doing this he is reciting my order and placing the containers in the bag. So I'm like okay he's putting everything in there (it's about to go down). So I get home and take the container out of the bag and set the pancakes to the side. I go to the kitchen and add my salsa and hot sauce to my eggs and ketchup to my hash browns. So boom( like the fat person I am...I crawl in to my bed ready to ad the toppings to my pancakes). I open the bag to grab the containers out and the only thing I have is the butter and the syrup. At this point I am LIVID!!!! I call Dennys and express my concern. I speak to GREG( the manager) and he offers me a free drink or I can come pick up the sides. I expressed to by the time all of that is done my order will now be room temp 2 cold and I no longer wanted the order. I wanted a refund. He says okay just bring the order in. So now 15 mins later... hungry, pregnant and back in 40 degree weather, I'm back in the car headed to Dennys for what I thought would be a refund. I get there and Greg( the manager) tells me he can't give me a refund!!!!! Well before I left my house in 40 degree I expressed that what I wanted. Now I'm here and it can't be done. So I ask for the manager and he tells me he is the manger but he can't refund it. So I ask for the contact information for his manager and he provides me with a 661# so I said we'll do you guys have a complaint line like a 800# and tells me let me get it for you... he comes back with Ariana and they tell me that I can go on google and look it up. I asked what time Barbra the General manager would be so that I many speak with her and Greg tells me. He said she would be able to issue my refund and that I need to speaks with her. So as I leave the store I'm looking for the number that's usually posted somewhere around the front of the store and there is nothing. At this point I find out that this not a corporation but a franchise (which makes the situation even more annoying). Soooooo at this point I have to wait until 6 in the morning and call here when I go on my lunch break to discuss the issue. I will definitely be leaving a follow up review though. *****Update***** So I spoke with Arlene this morning regarding last night situation and she said she would gladly refund my money, apologized for my experience and offered to remake the order.... so I get off of work today and I head down to Dennys. She was pleasant and greeted me with a smile and again was very apologetic for the incident. She immediately refunded the money no questions asked and offered me anything on the menu. I just really wanted my bananas and pancakes. So I requested the same thing and it was out promptly. She even offered me a drink. Before I left she doubled checked everything in the bag again and EVEN THREW IN A DRINK AND A GIFT CARD ( way more than expected)!!!!!! Okay I don't know if anybody reads these but if they do I want to make this sound really important so Denny's on I I had ordered food I had ordered some salad and some meat and it was brought to me and it was horrible I couldn't even put my fork through the meat without having to put pressure and the salad was so wilted it was disgusting I can't even I'm a texture person I can't I couldn't so I called of course and said I spent $30 I want a better meal but I was already on my way out of town so I asked if I could have it a later date the lady who answered the phone said sure no problem what's the name so I gave him the name and I told them that I would be in at a later time she said no problem come tonight I so I could eat because I'm going through it and I'm starving and moving all day and I had a really rough time all day stressful so I come and I'm like okay well at least I'll get my meal right because I'm hungry and I really don't have money right now so it might help go in to go get it the manager there actually did call the supervisor from yesterday morning when I had the receipt and then called his general manager who said don't do it can you believe that the GM said not to give customers what they need but the manager there knows something about customer service and knows something about keeping a customer the only reason why I will be going back here is because Alan totally handled business and made my night somewhat enjoyable and I appreciate it so much this man deserves a raise no joke thank you again Alan I hope they read this in do as I suggest read more

Place is gross. Tables,chairs,walls, and glass was all just dirty. You can see thru the cook window and the cook line stainless steel is all built up with grease. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is. I still decided to eat. It took 25 mins for 2 omelletes . Food was good,but id rather have had fresh cracked eggs and not liquid eggs . No splenda @ the table. Salsa was not present was empty. Tabasco bottle was also less then a qtr empty.service wasnt great. Walked in and watched the waitress just stand there for 8mins while she figuered out how to put an order in . Then i suppose the manager sat us wasnt overall a plesent exprience. Looks like togo was a priorty as we watch orders came out the kitchen and being bagged while we waited for our food. Dont know how togo is a priorty over a dine in customer. Dine in maybe had 6 tables . Looks like they had maybe 3 waitresses but none really looked like they knew what they were doing. This place needs new mangement and a good cleaning . I AM SHOCKED, I read a number of Reviews and I feel they and I went to TWO different locations. I enjoy this Denny's like a second home. I moved from L.A to Lancaster and have found a place that has made me feel like "CHEERS" They are WONDERFUL from beginning to end. I thank them from Jessica, Blanca, Lucero, America, Nora, Cristina, Rose, Ashley, and Danny as well as Jose. They are sometimes so busy and still take the time to say hello and get my order as well as deliver the food hot and delicious. Jessica has taken me in as a dutiful Grandfather and she looks out for me, by correctly suggesting food that is more appropriate for a diabetic diet. I THANK all of them and although I may have forgotten some names they are a wonderful group of people that I feel privileged to have met. To my second home away from home that I really enjoy. So we went here today and had the worst service experience. The manager(EVELYN) laughed as we explained we were ignored for the first 20 min of being sat down. The manager Evelyn smirked the whole time and and thought it was perfectly acceptable that we didn't get refills on coffee, order was wrong. No forks or spoons. No syrup, Nohemy our server was the worst. NOHEMY was rude as we asked for a coffee refill.. No energy as if she rolled out of bed, didn't shower and a didn't want to be there. Terrible service from the beginning , our server Nohemi took over 10 minutes to even come to our table and ask us for drinks , she didn't even give us her name which is the first thing a server should DO! And who so happen to be the so called assistant manager EVELYN, worst service ever . I've worked the restaurant business and know what great customer service is and this by far is the worst . Please ask for another server cause Nohemí was not attentive to our table at ALL or just make the trip to Palmdale for better service . Many times in life it's hard to choose whether you want to eat breakfast or dinner in Denny's case it is not The ultimate omelette was the best omelette that I have ever tasted the fire roasted bell peppers onions mushrooms,and diced tomatoes with the omelette were so good.The shredded cheese was gooey,but that made,the omelette very good.If you are craving for something like a omelette I definitely recommend coming to Denny's to eat.The service was amazing the waiter was very friendly,and the cook made the dish very delicious.This is my favorite place and I Will continue to come here more often read more

I was nervous when going here because of all the bad reviews but when I got here I was greeted by a very nice young lady then was sat down in a very clean booth so when I looked at yelp I couldn't believe that they didn't have better reviews. The server was Blanca and the manager was Barbara. My wife and I love Denny's at this location. One of our " to go" restaurants when we want a good breakfast. Our server, whose name Blanca Martinez was on top of everything throughout the meal. I was impressed she remembered exactly what drinks my wife and I always order. The staff here meet us with smiles and welcome us as guests. Throughout the meal, notice that all the staff is happily busting around and taking care of all the diners, checking in, and keeping cups full with coffee. read more

I came in this morning I was greeted friendly by Cecilia she sat me down and I received my drinks fast . She let me know the shift was changing and that lia will be taking over . She was very friendly fast and attentive. The manager came by the table and greeted us which was nice of her asked if we were fine and needed anything . You guys have the best coffee . This morning for my work break I went to Dennys and like always I asked for my favorite waiter Daniel. I went this morning with my family to go eat breakfast. I had ordered the Asian chicken burrito and it was so delicious! It was mouthwatering and savory! The service was absolutely great and the food was quick to come to our table. The staff was very friendly and the manager was very friendly as well. Came in last minute to grab a bite at 9pm on a Tuesday night. Our server Ortiz was completely and totally AWESOME!!! we NEVER had to ask for ANYTHING! Once our order was placed, Ortiz was on top of it. She made sure all of our needs and wants were taken care of without us saying anything. Went in late one night with my friends, the service was good. A young guy helped us out, he has friendly and recommended a few things. The food was good, served warm and didnt take too long. The area looks kinda sketchy, I'll admit. I probably wouldn't go there alone. But service was really good, sever was awesome.
