I really enjoy Denny's breakfast and today I tried this location for the first time since moving to this part of town. I highly recommend not coming to this location on 3010 W Sahara. And here's why: 1.) I placed a to go order at 8:40a. Keep in mind, this location is very small dining area. There was only a handful of folks dining already. 2.) 25 mins past and I was still waiting. I finally asked if my order was ready and he went to check. 5 mins past and he didn't return. I advised the other employee that I've been waiting for well over 30 mins and to just give me my refund so I can leave. Her reply, were backed up on orders. I said I understand but it's not even busy. She kept repeating, we're backed up on orders. I asked for my refund again. She said okay and walked away. The manager came to ring up a customer who was ready to pay. After she finished I advised her how long I've been waiting and to give me a refund back. She said okay and started the process to credit back my card. She wasn't able to process the credit. She said, I'll have to give you the cash if that's okay. I said, fine. The guy who went to check on my order finally returned with my order. The manager said, I'll still give you your money back for the long wait. She agreed that it was way too long of a wait for as slow as they were. 3.) She handed me the cash and the bag. I thanked her and left. I got home and when I counted the money, I was short $1.00 Not only did she not know how to issue the credit back to my card, she doesn't know how to count. I'm normally not this guy but the experience at that Denny's was not good at all and needed to be shared read more

The place could use a deep clean and regular cleaning. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable eating in a place with such laced cleaning. I don't think I'll return. The food qas average and nothing I would want to return for either. I could make something better at home. The extra star was for the manager who seemed attentive to the customers. Before you click off this review simply because I rated Dennys of all places 5 stars, hear me out. When it comes to chain restaurants, I feel the most fair way to review them is to compare them to other restaurants in the chain, their most formidable competitors (in this case, IHOP), and write my review based on that. I'm not going to review a Dennys compared against Grand Luxe Cafe at Venetian or Sinatra at the Wynn, that would simply be unfair. Ok, preamble over, on to my review.... My experience at this Dennys is nothing short of fantastic. First of all, the cleanliness. I've been to this Dennys 3 times and each time it's as if the restaurant is a day before grand opening. No joke. Even more surprising considering that the local neighborhood ain't exactly Beverly Hills. Secondly, the service. There is a wonderful, social, hardworking woman and cook there that treat everyone like royalty. It blew me away. Finally, the food. Sure, Dennys is Dennys, but ask anyone that has been to more than one Dennys, and you should know that all Dennys are not created equal. This Dennys hits it perfectly. Seasoned, flavorful, fresh. Saturday night: The five stars go for Miguel A. Came in just for French toast and I not only was I so impressed with how good the French toast was. BUT Miguel's service was even better. I usually don't go to Denny's because... Denny's. But I am definitely coming back, Miguel was the only server at the moment (for a Saturday night) but I saw him taking care if everyone. From the moment I walked in the door to get my green smoothie, Q the manager, welcomed me and took care of me personally. As much as I wanted to stay and have a full meal, my day wouldn't allow it. Yolanda also greeted me and said hello. What an amazing team. Really felt the great energy and when I have a day to have lunch or dinner at Dennys I'm driving back over to this one specifically. Walked in this Denny's got seated to a dirty table asked the hostess if we could move to somewhere else where the table was clean. She insisted the table was clean however it was not I could still see the residue of cups and syrup on the table. She then rolled her eyes at me and brought us to another table. Then she walked to the kitchen and started talking about us. We got up and left because I didn't want to get spit in my food for a wanting a simple request of a sanitized table.
