Panda just doesn't really do it for me any longer. Not sure if I'm right but I feel like their "famous" orange chicken recipe has changed. Why? Why can't we leave anything alone anymore? My husband and I were craving some Panda and he suggested to look up which had the highest reviews rating in our area and try them out. On google, this location had 4.1 stars as opposed to yelp that showed this location had only 3 stars. We decided to trust google users and went ahead to the rainbow location and I'm glad we did because this is definitely one of the best Panda Express locations in the Valley! It's a smaller, hole in the wall location however it was very bright and clean. The staff was super friendly and it seemed that they had a good rapport with their customers as the regulars were happy to see the employees. Everyone in line was happy to speak with the employees and vice versa and were praising the food. The employees were very attentive and continuously cleaning on their down time. Food wise, it was good. Better than the average Panda. The super greens were freshly cooked, the Beijing beef, honey sesame chicken breast, orange chicken, and teriyaki chicken were freshly cooked so we definitely came in at a good hour. A 2 combo plate * medium drink is $12.10. Pretty reasonable price for a good hot meal. The only downside to our experience was that we entered at 8:40p and had come from a Christmas experience at Opportunity Village. We wanted to wash our hands and they said their policy is to close the restrooms 1 hour before closing. We still had 20 min to go if we're being sticklers about time. But we had ordered 3 plates to eat in the dining room. So if we had to use the restroom, we wouldn't be able to do so. And that sucks. But alright, if my young children weren't able to hold their pee and poop I could totally have them pop a squat outside the establishment if absolutely necessary :/ read more

Entered and everyone working greated us with a hello and smile. We walked into a very clean and tidy restaurant. All of the food was just made hot, fresh and smelled so good. We ordered orange chicken, kungpao chicken, and the chefs special. For the sides we chose white rice and noodles. All tasted very good especially because they just made and restocked the food. Not sure what the chef's special was but I definitely would order that again. The drink I chose was the guava mango. Wish it came in a bigger size if you haven't tried it . You absolutely must try. Either this location is on their A game, or I caught them at a good time. Either way I'm satisfied. Also, the restaurant was so clean, we dined in. The short version; The employee was tampered with the food container to make us sick. She was hounded us to tell us what we wanted in spite of nobody being in line or walking in the store at anytime. The only people were a few who were already at the tables eating. Every 7 seconds, what do you want? We said please give us a minute but she would not quit. When she put the food into the to go box her thumb was inside the styrofoam container letting the food possibly come into contact with her bare thumb. The next container was a foldable red and white box. When the person with me was looking down at the food choices, the employee put her fingers inside of the container and began to rub them all over the inner walls. I put a report into the health department online. I will follow up with them. This was the 2nd encounter with her, the other one was last summer. She was the same way hounding so we could view the food. She was picking out the vegetables and leaving the meat. She gave small portions letting it fall off the spoon. Due to the managers reaction when I reported her, and due to the employee own actions I believed this was racism and in all aspects an assault. When I called to report the employee the manager not knowing her name I gave a description, a short heavy set middle aged latino woman. She snapped, "We are a diverse company" making it about race and her personal politics showing no concern about the service. If you are white, watch out. read more

How educated do you exactly have to be to be taking orders for Panda Express over the phone? I am majorly baffled by how idiotic the agents are and how they have the attention span of a goldfish when taking in phone orders. I have clearly stated my preferred pickup location and the agent proceeded to send the order to a branch 30-45 minutes away. I have then requested for customer service to please re-route the order to my nearest pickup location (since it's their fault) and the manager refused to do it. Well, like what I should have done in the first place, I just cancelled everything and requested a refund which would take 5-10 business days. It was a mistake choosing them over something else. I ordered from Mom's Teriyaki which is down the street from them instead. It's a couple dollars more, but I didn't have to go through all that drama and the meat doesn't taste like dry wall. read more

The entrees were a bit hard, like they had been fried just a little too long or stale. I usually do not leave bad reviews but with my recent visit here. It was definitely not satisfying. My boyfriend ordered honey sesame chicken w/ honey walnut shrimp, they lady told us that we would have to wait for the cooks to finish making the honey sesame chicken. We have also ordered the cream cheese Rangoon's and had to wait for them to be made as well. As we waited over 10 mins we noticed that the entree and the Rangoon's were already made and seen the worker already serving them to other customers without telling us that our food is done. As I approached the lady about our food, she replies "OH". Definitely not the answer I was looking for. As we arrived home, we noticed that they did not give us the honey sesame chicken that my boyfriend ordered for his plate. It is very disappointing to pay for food that we never have gotten. the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever had at a fast-food restaurant. I arrived at 8:45pm and the place was packed. 3 employees on the line and 3 cooking. You could tell they were working hard to get everyone served quickly. I ordered egg rolls with my meal, and they had just sold out. It happens. He asked me if I minded waiting for a fresh batch, and I told him it was no problem. Well, it did take a while for them to be ready...to the point that most people might have started getting mad. But, here's why I was impressed: #1. I have no idea who the manager was. Everyone was on their game to get it done and you could tell that they genuinely cared. #2. While I was waiting, they apologized and I knew they meant it. Two of them asked how my day was. #3. I was offered a cup to get something to drink while I waited (I hadn't ordered a drink). #4. When I left, he said: "I'd like to offer you a coupon for the next time you come in. Since you had to wait as long as you did." It was an unexpected but nice touch.
