My rack of ribs were very enjoyable. The meat was super tender and took no effort to come off the bone. My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken with corn and fries as his sides. He enjoyed his meal as well. Our only complaint about the service was we felt our waitress could have been a bit more attentive. Seemed like she was distracted during our interactions with her. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived.
