I love going to Denny's every now and then but damn the food is so overpriced for what's offered. I got the mac and cheese brisket thing and it as soon as it came I can tell it was krafts mac and cheese. Believe me, I know. There was so little beef, too. For $18? absolutely wild. For breakfast today we decided on good ol' Denny's. This time we went to the one on Sahara since we were in the area. The service was excellent; the server was attentive and kept my coffee cup full. They have a menu with items under $10.00. My hubby and I both ordered from this menu and we were pleasantly surprised as to how the generous the portions are. I had the Classic 2-egg breakfast served with plenty of hash browns and toast (sourdough please)! My hubby order the Super Slam which comes with 2 eggs, hash browns 2 bacon and 2 sausages, and 2 large pancakes. The order was served very timely and was hot. I love my food hot not sitting under a lamp until they decide to serve it (cold)...not here! They had some good oldies but goodies playing which is always a hit with my hubby! Looks small from the outside, but surprisingly spacious once you step inside. The restaurant was clean and well kept. Our server was friendly, drinks came out quickly, and our order was taken right away. The food arrived in a timely manner and everything was hot and fresh. We started with onion rings and chicken tenders as appetizers. Both were delicious and perfectly paired with ranch, an excellent way to start the meal. We were in the mood for breakfast around 2pm, so we went all out. My little one ordered pancakes with eggs, sausage, and bacon, which was a lot of food for her. The pancakes alone were huge...super fluffy and very tasty. I ordered a BLT breakfast sandwich with egg on sourdough bread, paired with seasoned French fries. It was filling and delicious. For dessert, we grabbed a slice of strawberry cheesecake to go. The cheesecake was light yet dense, had great flavor, and the strawberry sauce on top made it a solid 10/10. Who is doing quality control? Who should be fired? This place has become a big no no for us. No idea what's going on with this company but they are failing miserably. Out of food. Great service and what a deal on breakfast! Pretty cool there's a robot waiter when they get super busy but i'm old school and like sitting at the counter for quicker service. Had the original grand slam with scrambled eggs, bacon and brioche french toast which were all cooked to perfection and hit the spot perfectly when craving breakfast food. T-Mobile Tuesday deal of free Brioche French Toast so we decided to come try it out! Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - we both ordered a Grand Slam and got the free French Toast. The Grand Slam comes with two pancakes, eggs, sausages, and and bacon. The sausage and bacon were on the saltier side but worked well with the eggs and pancakes. The brioche french toast was surprisingly good! The bread was soft and fluffy with a light eggy and buttery taste. Service: 5/5 - Janely was amazing! Super friendly, knew the menu inside-out, and was able to take our order accurately without marking anything down. She checked up on us throughout the meal to ensure we had everything we needed and was helpful in applying our coupons. Ambiance: 5/5 - typical chain restaurant with lots of tables and seating. This Denny's is an absolute disaster. The service was painfully slow from the moment we walked in. Our server, Alain D, literally dropped our forks on the floor while seating us, said "sorry," and kept it moving. Red flag #1. Ordering was a mess. He got our order wrong, and after waiting over 30 minutes, the food finally came out--except it wasn't our food. He asked if a crepe was ours. We did not order a crepe. At all. The food was disgusting. The nachos were soggy, the meatballs in the spaghetti were undercooked, and the spaghetti itself was plain and hard like it wasn't even fully cooked. It takes effort to mess up food this badly. The only thing not ruined was the salad, but honestly that's because you'd have to actively try to screw up a salad--though I wouldn't be shocked if this place managed it eventually. Then there was the apple juice. There were white, floating mystery particles in it. My friend had to dig them out of the drink and stopped drinking it entirely. That is beyond nasty and straight up concerning. We lost our appetite first bite in. The portions were unnecessarily huge, but that just meant more disgusting food we didn't want to eat. Everything about this place screams low standards, zero quality control, and no care for customers. Save your money, your time, and your stomach. Do not eat here. read more

I went here to redeem my Free Birthday Breakfast! My server was Deanna, she was kind and helpful with refilling our drinks. I got the Birthday Grand Slam with a Orange Juice and my wife got a side order of Pancakes and the Grand Slamwich. The food was tasty, service was good and we even saw a robot server running around the restaurant delivering food. It threw me off seeing the robot and I feel bad because that potentially takes a job away from someone else but I get a company wanting to be innovative. My breakfast was great and my wife let me try the Grand Slamwich. It was really good and I think what makes that sandwich is the bread, it was toasted and crunching with a nice salty flavor. read more

They send coupons in the mail only to deny them when you go to use them. They changed extra for a side that was included in the breakfast and didn't remove the charge when I pointed it out. They charged also for a piece of cheese and didn't mention it would be extra. My omelette was small and didn't have much flavor. The veggies in it looked old or canned? The wheat bread was stale and the fruit salad had old fruit in it. Won't be going back. read more

I've ordered food from here a handful of times in the last few months. I never had any problems. Then, in January, I ordered a meal for pickup, and was absolutely flabbergasted by what I received. Does this look like an "oven baked mac and cheese" that a restaurant should charge you *extra* for? NO. Calling this "oven baked mac and cheese" is egregious. It's instant mac and cheese. Slop on a plate. I know it's Denny's, but this was a rip-off. I tried calling and emailing the contact info given to me in a reply from "Nancy Nava, Area Director of Operations", and nothing. I never heard back from anyone. For a restaurant, even a Denny's, to charge people for this garbage is outrageous. It is completely absurd to pay a restaurant for INSTANT MAC AND CHEESE, instant mashed potatoes, and tasteless, salmon-shaped cardboard...PLUS TIP (I tipped! For this! LOL!). I'm not one to complain about things, I'm really not. I've only ever written one other bad review before, but this was insulting, frustrating, and shameful. I've been ruminating over this for weeks. Maybe it shouldn't, but the fact I wasted my money, and time, with Denny's upsets me greatly. I won't be back. read more

She is always friendly kind and greets me with a warm welcome. I had moved to centennial and the service at other locations does not compare. Well not surprise at another turn around at the Dennys on Charleston and CSN. Mr. Vince, as a retired bank manager, turn around are not good for business. I've been coming to this locations for over 20 years. I have seen managers come and go but why? One is Maritza whom was very attentive to the customers. Second Michel, whom interacted with customers, cooked, cleaned and greeted many with a smile. Third Miguel whom I think needed a little more training but worked his butt off. Then your area manager transferred him and brought in a woman that not only treated customers at a brunt but in my opinion treated the servers wrong. Later only to see with my own eyes that she walked out on the job. Vince maybe it's not the manager or servers but your area manager whom you should consider replacing. Miguel worked very hard and though there was time when we order things which were not available he spoke to us in order to understand. We and many other customers were not happy to here that Miguel was let go for doing a great job. In order for a business to succeed we must make adjustment, but the continue of new managers is out of control and so we have decided to take our business somewhere else. read more

Also forgot to put the main ingredient - chorizo sausage in one of the skillets. How do you forget about that? It's literally listed #1 in ingredients. Every time I go seems like they just got out of a rush hour and there's only 2 other people in the restaurant with us. Sometimes they forget your order after taking it as if they were in a rush hour. I've waiting so long for my fountain drink had to remind them. I go to have a quick lunch i don't like having to wait dude to server errors. Time efficiency definitely needs to be worked on. I would give zero stars if i could. I had to ask and track down my server multiple times to get my kids drinks refilled. We sat there for 40 min waiting on food. I should have left but my boys were hungry. My son ordered biscuits and gravy. My other boy ordered Mac n cheese and pancakes. I ordered a burger. No reason it should have taken 40min. My son's biscuits and gravy came out with zero gravy. The server could not be found to get gravy. He ate plain biscuits. With no drink. After he finished the biscuits the server magically showed up with a bowl of gravy. But mind you they brought me my check to pay before the food came out.
