    Steak and loaded baked potato

Food has definitely degraded. My sister had a gnat in her wine, which they replaced and comp'd. We didn't get drink refills until the end of the meal when we got boxes. The prices do not match the service. Too high for not enough. The bloomin' onion is still good, tho, but everything else was very salty and inedible.

We had an amazing dinner here. The service was great. It was also very clean inside. We truly enjoyed everything and cannot wait to return.

Went for their $14.99 3 course meal! Yum did not disappoint. Start you off with warm brown bread that you spread with soften butter. I chose house salad and coconut shrimp with sweet potato as my side. Hubby got the potato soup and a Caesar salad. His entree was the hamburger cooked med. Everything was delish. Only thing is you have to ASK for the special menu. Outback has different levels you can upgrade to, if you looking for steak. This is a good deal.

I got the set menu meal for one which came with a choice of steak, appetizer, side, and dessert. I chose the sirloin, surf and turn quesadilla, baked potatoe, and carrot cake. Overall the meal price that's set you are saving maybe a few bucks it might be more worth for you do order à la carte.

I enjoy coming here. When busy we typically can find a booth in the bar section without any problem. Service has always been great. Food is usually good with just a few issues but when brought to their attention they have always remade whatever the issue was. On our last visit my ladies lobster tails were overcooked but they handled it quickly and she received remade tails that were great. I enjoy their bread, salads, soups, and pasta dishes most.

Bread is always great and served hot

This location has it together. Servers are nice and check in at the right times. Sometimes there's a wait for a table but if there's an opening in the bar section it's all yours and this includes the tables not just the bar top. Food is good and if there's an issue they will make it right. Prices aren't bad either and portions remain on the large side. Bread remains free and still delicious served nice and hot.

Stopped in for a late dinner as I was craving steak. We started with the bloomin' onion. It was a bit greasy and the seasoning were a little too spicy for my liking but was presented fresh. I ordered the Filet Mignon and lobster. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster was sweet and not rubbery so it tasted pretty good. The loaded potato was yummy was well. The Caesar salad has a bit too much dressing and Parmesan cheese. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was not very busy. Good for families . Food came pretty quick!

Great location, clean atmosphere. Greeted as we came in, we were a party of 4. Came after peak dinner time so it was quieter and a lot less busy. No wait to get seated. Server was friendly. Everything we ordered was yummy except the blooming onion. It was entirely too salty. Didn't really dip it into the sauce otherwise it would be even saltier. Was disappointed because we hadn't been here in years and was looking forward to the appetizer outback is known for. I had to take a big gulp of water after every bite. Maybe it was just an unlucky day for us, it's usually my favorite dish from this franchise. This was the only dish we didn't end up finishing or take to go, left about a third of it. Oh well, we will be back I'm sure.

Took my mother here for Mothers Day and it was just okay. Steaks had to be re-cooked and the service was just not the best and we had to flag them down to get things. Will likely try a different location next time.

    Bloomin' Onion

We were craving for their Bloomin' Onion and Outback Steakhouse is the home of the famous delicious Bloomin' Onion! It's been a while since we've dined at this restaurant and our first time to this location at the Lakes. Restaurant was nice and clean it was steady and we were greeted within minutes and we sat in the Bar area. Chloe and Frank were our servers and they both did good serving us during dinner. Currently on the menu is their special going on The Aussie Aussie Aussie 3-Course Meal. I say it's a pretty good deal starting at $14.99 available for dine in only. Course 1: Soup or Salad. Course 2: Choice of entrée served with one steakhouse side. Course 3: Individual slice of New York-Style Cheesecake. Choice of Raspberry Melba or Chocolate Sauce. We ordered: The Outback Steakhouse Baked Bread with Butter. Course 1: we both got their Baked Potato Soup. Course 2: we both got the 6 oz Center-Cut Sirloin. One side with Cheese Aussie Fries-Bacon and cheese and the second side was the Seasoned Rice. Added the new Chimichurri Sauce for an up charge for my steak. Course 3: New York Style Cheesecake one with Chocolate Sauce and another with Raspberry Melba Sauce. Everything we ordered was delicious! The bread was served warm and the butter was nicely melted. The Baked Potato Soup was tasty I liked the thick consistency in the soup just enough bacon, green onion and cheese. My 6oz Sirloin Steak medium well topped with the Chimichurri sauce was perfectly cooked. Last but not least, the New York Style Cheesecake was a nice sweet treat for our dessert. The Aussie Aussie Aussie 3-Course Meal is the way to go!

I didn't love any of the mixed drinks so just ended up getting a glass of wine which was average. For entrees we got the new york strip, truffle mac & cheese and agnolotti. The truffle mac and steak were the best ever. The amount of truffle and levels of flavor to the steak were next level. Best i have ever had from a restaurant. Not to mention the steak was half off. The agnolotti was not my favorite it tasted too meaty and not really like pasta. Overall $100 for this was an absolute steal. Great ambiance, great service, great bread, great margarita, amazing Caesar salad and crab cake, and stupendous steak for two. At $49.95 per person, it's a stellar deal in this brutal economy and a Strip full of Caesars upcharges. We didn't have a reservation because it's lunch time so the hostess sat us at a tiny table with skinny and uncomfortable chairs, which meant my big and tall man had zero chance of being comfortable. After noticing plenty of empty tables in the main dining room, we asked to be moved and were told "reservations only." So I made a reservation on my phone for five minutes later, walked back up, and checked in. I wish you could've seen her face. After wasting our time, we finally got a normal table. The food is great. The burger is made from the same dry-aged prime beef used for their famous steaks, with melted American cheese that adds a touch of nostalgia. It comes with a large ring of raw onions - I tried it, but it's not for me, so off it went. The bun is intentionally simple, allowing the beef to shine. The fries were crispy with a soft interior. The steak sandwich with caramelized onions also hit the spot. They also brought out a generous side of their signature steak sauce, which ended up being used on everything. Tangy, a little sweet, and reminiscent of a German-style sauce I've had before. Very addictive. Save room for dessert, because their hot fudge sundae is no joke. The fudge is so dense... We'll be back to try a steak and next time make a reservation so we don't have to deal with the hostess circus again. 3.5 stars for an overall first impression but it would have been higher if this restaurant understood who keeps their lights on.

The first floor of the restaurant was very cool! You could see the cuts of meat in the refrigerators and there is also a bar on the left of the entrance. There was a beautiful chandelier by the staircase as well. The upstairs dining area was very plain however. Bare walls, industrial type of standard light fixtures. The server recommended the skirt steak which we ordered MR. Also ordered the ribeye, portobello mushrooms fries and the steak tartare to start. I've never seen a steak tartare come out brown as it shows in the photo. I was so hungry, so I tried some, assuming the kitchen wouldn't send out bad raw meat. It tasted ok but the more I kept eating the weirder I felt about the color. We asked the manager if this was a common occurrence as my experience with steak tartare had never been this way. She said that it shouldn't come out brown and said she'd take it off the menu. She then later came back to explain that the lime juice that's in the marinade oxidizes the raw beef so that's why it's brown... which is an acceptable answer I suppose? It just felt weird bc I couldn't find any photos of browned steak tartare on google when looking up the restaurant menu. The steaks we ordered MR came out. The ribeye was cooked decently but the skirt steak was more on the rare side so we had to send it back for an oven heat up for 1 more minute. I enjoyed the skirt steak but it was too sweet to enjoy the whole thing. Cooking it in the oven for another minute made it even sweeter. It tasted like over sweetened Korean galbi in steak form. I'd say the portobello fries was my favorite dish and decided to take the rest to go to pick at in the hotel. After dinner we were given the dessert menu which didn't really call out to me, but since we told the server it was our anniversary, they gave us complimentary sorbet which was very nice. I liked the sorbet quite a lot but I was pretty full so didn't get to enjoy much of it. The gesture was kind though. At the end, the steak tartare was not taken off our receipt so we had to ask for that to be taken off since the manager told us she'd do that. The server gladly obliged. I want to say, that there was a female employee - maybe a busser, who worked really hard to be attentive with our waters and clearing our plates. I wish I got her name! I believe she was Latina with a ponytail if that helps at all working Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend at 6PM. All in all, the experience was not as great as my husband's first time at the Henderson location - he said the cuts were so much bigger before and the ambience of the Henderson location was more fine dining-esque. But the economy is tough lately so I figured the quality could've easily gone down. Because the price points were very reasonable, I thought it was up to par with what we paid. Probably won't go back unfortunately but it was great to try it out. The plaza it is in is called Trivoli(?) and I thought it was a cute spot with a lot of shops. Although everything was closed by 8, we walked around to digest a little and enjoyed the evening.
