We were at lewiston idaho denny's august seventeenth, around eight p m. The service was grood, but the Chicken Fried chicken tasted burnt and looked dark brown. My fries had a burnt flavor to them also, but they did not look burnt. My husband had a super slam. The sausage wasn't even warm, the hash browns taste like the boxed ones you get at costco, they're horrible, and the bacon was chewy. We have been to many Denny's and always had a good experience until the moscow idaho and the lewiston idaho denny's. We used to go to the Denny's. In auburn, washington, amazing food service and their hash browns were good. They must have used something different. Even the spokane one out by the airport was amazing. They've been open for less than a month now and I came in before the after church crowd would descend. There were a lot of people waiting to come in, but that was expected. As I was a single diner, they offered me a seat at the counter. I ordered my usual and was quite pleased. I was at the Denny's in Moscow soon after it opened and it didn't flow as well as this location. I love the red potatoes and the Moscow location always overcooks them so I never order them there. They're perfect here. They're still getting the rhythm of things but I'm quite pleased with today's visit. read more

Stopped in to try the new Denny's location. Clean, friendly, family atmosphere as you walked in. Place was packed. Hostess got me a large OJ. Took 20 min before I was able to place my order. Then after an hour wait my small breakfast still wasn't served. I watched 12 other customers walk out after 45 to 60 minutes and still no food. We were told that Door Dash had a considerable amount of orders, but even with 3 cooks, the Door Dash driver also left empty handed. My food arrived hot at 72 minutes. it was tasty, but how can you survive, as a restaurant, with 60 plus minute waits for food? And they were out of pancakes! Who is managing this place? ordered through DoorDash and unfortunately the experience wasn't great. The only parts of the meal that were good were the meat and the fruit. Everything else was either undercooked or burnt, and the eggs were extremely watery, almost inedible. The delivery itself wasn't the issue and this wasn't the driver's fault at all. The problem was with the food quality from the restaurant. Overall it was really disappointing and based on this experience, I wouldn't be surprised if this location closes down. read more

Service was rude and aggressive while taking orders. Firing off question after without a single "of course!" "For sure!" Not even a smile. Rushing around like the place is packed with wolves when there's maybe 7 tables with at most four people in each. Putting on a dramatic performance to seem so exhausted and stressed. Cold meal, cold and bitter coffee, tomato juice was of a very poor quality. Prices high for what we got. We ate breakfast there twice, and that was one time to many. Not going back. Poor service 45 minutes for eggs and sausage while servers stand around visiting. If the kitchen staff is that slow time to look for different folks. I watched them remove my wife's order and give it to a different table while mine sat there waiting for hers to be redone. Of course it was cold. Save your money, do lunch at El Sombrero. This was easily the worst customer service experience I've ever had. We had issues with our order, and instead of any attempt to fix it, we were met with outright rudeness from an employee named Wendy. She repeatedly called my friend the wrong name--even after being corrected multiple times--which was both disrespectful and unprofessional. On top of that, she shared inappropriate information about a coworker's shift. The entire interaction was unacceptable, and I have never felt so dismissed as a customer. Worst service I have ever experienced. 30 minutes after being seated before getting a waitress to take even a drink order. The place was not busy, nor were they under staffed. We watched the waitresses repeatedly deliver the wrong food to the completely wrong table. Seriously not less than 3 different times. Once we finally got our food we never saw the waitress again. No drink refills, no verification on the meal, nothing!! The only person we saw hustling was the single per cleaning the tables. She was practically running. some tables even left soon after receiving their cold food and left their food barely touched. Yes I said COLD FOOD. How long had it been sitting there waiting to be delivered, or how many tables did they deliver it to before it was finally delivered to us!?! On top of everything, after asking three times for food boxes we finally got one of the three we asked for. We finally got the attention of someone to bring more and requested the check. When they got back with the extra boxes, the person asked if we knew who our server was so they could find the check. I should have just left at that point, but then I would not have the "rest" of the story. They couldn't find our bill so we had to go to the front desk and have that person ring us up a new order so we could pay. When it came to the tip option the NONE was selected, of course! That's when the guy standing over the shoulder of the gal helping us was stupid enough to ask if we intended to leave a cash tip!?! Are you kidding me!!
