I visited this location in January and was surprised to see mice running around the dining area. While a another guest thought it might be a one-off due to nearby construction, I immediately alerted the waiter. He simply said 'thank you'. After looking at other reviews, I saw the exact same mouse issue reported back in September. It is clear this isn't a new problem. I will not be returning with my family. I thought my online order (via their app) was pretty straight forward and uncomplicated with 2 simple requests (no peppers and cut in 1/2). Well, there were no peppers (yay). However, not only was it not cut in half, but it was completely dry. No boubon BBQ sauce... not a smear of any sauce whatsoever. Furthermore, my online order asked for 2 forks and 10 ketchup packets. Instead I got 1 fork and 5 ketchup. Not a huge deal under normal circumstances, but we're on the road and staying next door at the Motel 6. I paid extra for onion rings instead of fries and received five (5!) cold onion rings. I'm within 100 feet of this location, and as soon as the app notified me that my order was ready, I walked over there immediately. Less than 5 minutes, and yet, my food was cold with a faint hint of "it used to be warm." My frustration doesn't just come from this lousy experience, but lately, it seems like all of the Dennys employ illiterate people, because no one manages to complete my order as I request it. I travel a lot. I place a simple order with simple modifications. And yet this is an on-going problem every time I go into a Dennys. Sure, I could stop giving them my business. Or...OR (and this may be a novel idea, but hear me out)...perhaps Dennys and their employees could just DO BETTER. At least just do the bare minimum by delivering the correct order. FFS, I'm paying $20 for a dry, cold burger and 5 cold onion rings, and I even placed a tip at the time I placed my order. Please, DO BETTER, Dennys! At least the young lady at the counter was polite. This Denny's location is a bit tucked away, but close to the freeway. There is a small parking lot as well. Decent service - we had a friendly waitress, but not the most attentive, as our order was all wrong. The food also took awhile, and since it was wrong the first time around, it took even longer to get our order fixed. You would think they would expedite the order if they messed up the order, but nope. We ordered their Classic Slams - a Berry Stuffed French Toast Slam with a poached egg and 4 sausage links, and then a French Toast Slam with scrambled eggs and 2 bacon + 2 sausage links. For the Berry Stuffed French Toast Slam, we did not received the Berry Stuffed French Toast or 4 sausages, but we did received the poached egg with some random stack of pancakes and 2 bacon + 2 sausage links. We have to flag down our waitress to let her know and we were questioned about it, but eventually we got the correct main dish minus the 4 sausages (which at that point, we decided to take the L). It was alright, way too much strawberry topping, so it was overly sweet and artificial tasting. For the French Toast Slam, it was correct, but tasted just alright. read more

It's so sad. This is the second time I went to this Denny's and they were out of breakfast sausages. Not only the sausages, they were out of butter too. My friend order pancakes today and they told us that they were out of butter after the pancakes were on our table. They should had told us before we placed the order. You have what seems like one waitress doing it all. We saw the same person doing the seating, bussing, orders and cleaning. It slows everything when one person is doing everything. Came here for brunch. This place wasnt busy at all. Got seated right away but, it took forever and a day to get our order even started. When we finally place our order staff were fighting in the background infront of customers. Plus, I've been to many Denny's before to get my go-to comfort food when out of town: the Chicken Fried Steak dinner. That always seems to come out fine from my experience. So while I was staying in the area for Car Week and got to my Inn quite late, Dennys was close by and still open. So I thought let's go for it. The restaurant was not too busy, however there were people eating inside. A good sign. I was greeted by a courteous young man who took my to-go order of one Chicken Fried Steak dinner, veggies and Mac and cheese for sides. It took about 10 minutes to get my order. Nothing bad at all. The young man walked over to me with a well packaged dinner in a bag. I said thank you and drove back to my Inn. When I was ready to eat, I opened the meal and it all looked freshly cooked except.... NO GRAVY. I was taken off guard by what I saw, and checked inside the empty bag for a non-existent cup of gravy on the side. So....Chicken Fried Steak without gravy. Have you ever tried it that way? Well, my hungry a$$ sure tried. And it was the most unsatisfactory salty experience ever. I couldn't take more than two bites of that patty. They almost redeemed themselves with a freshly cooked meal, except they missed a crucial and oh so necessary component. I ate the vegetables and Mac and Cheese. They were fine. When the kids say they want chocolate chip pancakes this is where we end up. I have always loved Denny's as a kid and now I'm glad they are still around for me to share with my kiddos. The boys always get the chocolate chip pancakes or the birthday cake pancakes and they are always made consistently. In the summer, we come here after swim lessons and the prices are more affordable than other places. So as a mom this place is a hit. We love coming here with my parents and the boys love eating a tasty breakfast with grandma and grandpa. They always get the french toast slam and I always order the chorizo benedict. The coffee is always great. On all the occasions my family has gone here the service is always attentive and food is served up quickly. No complaints. A nice big breakfast out at Denny's is something we look forward to. read more

Very bad service. Exceptionally rude. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and I understand everyone has bad days someti.es, however she only got more ill mannered the nicer I was. Placed an order in person for pickup. She slammed the order in my face and left. When I got ho.e she gave me the wrong order. Called 4 times, no answer. Went in, she yelled at me and said I told her the wrong thing. Called next day to speak to manager, got hung up on. Called corporate, got hung up on. Called AGAIN! Finally some said they'd look into it and call me back. NVER HAPPENED!! I am NO longer suggesting to friends and relatives to eat there. I must say that COSSEY T. Was probably one of the best waitresses I've ever seen. She works very very hard she was prompt and very responsive. However when I went in the bathroom it was obvious that it had been neglected probably for days even the Kotex box was overflowing onto the floor there was no toilet paper. We visited today 07/17/24 at around 11:00am. We were seated immediately after arriving, we are a family of four. The lady that seated us gave us a wet high chair and we had to dry it and clean it out, kind of disappointed because i feel like she should have checked the condition of it before giving it to us. The lady that served us was really nice and took our order timely. We also got our food pretty fast. Service and food were great! The surrounding was very peaceful as well. We enjoyed our breakfast. Staff came up to us saying they ran out of turkey for our order and we had to cancel it to get our money back. Guess what Denny's Marina, that's why you order in advance so you can prepare for it.
