    Mexican Omlette

I recently visited Tico's Breakfast & Lunch and had a really nice experience. The place is small and cute, which gives it a cozy, welcoming vibe. I ordered the Mexican omelette, it was good, but honestly, I think I enjoyed the guacamole even more. It was fresh and really stood out. I also tried the country potatoes, which I had heard great things about, but there was nothing in particular about the taste of them. still good though. For my drink, I got an orange juice. It was good, but nothing particularly special. Overall, a solid breakfast spot with a comfortable atmosphere and some standout sides! and service was great.

Tried the ticos breakfast that has the potato's, toast, bacon and eggs and it's delicious! We come here almost every week- we either get breakfast or Bolengese pasta. They never fail to impress us! The food is delicious every time!

We had an amazingly delicious breakfast at Tico's, which opened in 2004, and realized we had forgotten just how terrific it is! I ordered the Garden Omelet filled with a wonderful variety of vegetables including zucchini, served with crispy potatoes and sourdough toast, while my husband loved his flavorful Seafood Omelet with hollandaise sauce, and his fresh fruit had scalloped edges and were so tasty. Also, my large, excellent Caffè Mocha was the perfect finishing touch. He has his own hot sauce, marmalade and strawberry jam, too. Tico himself brings an impressive background from top local kitchens, including Casanova and Michael's Catering, and that experience really shines through in every dish; we're already planning to return to try dinner, which is offered Friday and Saturday evenings--well worth a visit.

The staff is friendly and the food is ok. We had the baby pancakes, Nova Scotia benedict, and mushroom omelet. Nothing fancy or special, but does the job. One thing that was disappointing, though, was their hash browns. It's essentially the frozen hash browns from the grocery store that you pop in the toaster.

My friend and I came to this cute, simply decorated place for brunch. I decided to get my favorite brunch meal, which is Steak and Eggs ($17). This included country potatoes and toast. The steak was New York Steak, which was perfectly grilled, with actual grill marks. The exterior was slightly charred, making it satisfyingly crispy. The meat was wonderfully tender, juicy, succulent, with plenty of great flavor. I asked for the eggs to be fried completely and they were quite tasty. The potatoes still had the skin on, were sautéed and oh so well seasoned. My friend and I shared the Apple Fritters, which were huge! They were sprinkled with powdered sugar, and the plate had slices of green pears sticking up to form the shape of a flower. I really enjoyed the Apple Fritters, which were delightfully crunchy, as well as warm and moist on the inside with actual pieces of apple. Service was great with a really nice waiter and the prices are super reasonable. I would return for dinner when I'm back in the area, to get either Fresh Salmon or Prime Rib.

It's a hole in the wall - pretty fair FOOD - was 4 outta 10, someone messed up our order; no powder sugar - got it ; bacon was like chips over over cooked ; had to ask for my side sausage ; asked for white toast got wheat toast ; never got water refills SERVICE - she was ok (elder lady) ; we had to let her know we're ready to order 20mins seating AMBIANCE- well it's a hole in the wall. So it needs a major upgrade. It's ok First time & Last time.

    Steak and eggs.

We had lunch there and it was great. The place is small but the food is great and some of the food is homemade. The staff made us feel welcome and they were very professional. Must go to appreciate.

The food was great! Stopped here for a quick bite and possibly had one of the best sandwiches in a while! Will definitely come back soon!

They had music playing but not too loud. Waitress continued to check on us through out the meal. The kids pancake was as thick as other restaurants short stack. Bacon was cooked crispy (good in our opinion). My fried rice and linguica was delicious. Eggs cooked perfectly. Wish the linguica was a bit warmer but it was still good. I chose a biscuit and I'm so glad I did, it was huge, tasted fresh and the butter it comes with??? WOW!!!! It was sooo good. My husband's plate of fried rice with ham, bacon and another meat was massive!!!! He wasn't even hungry until dinner. Will we return? Absolutely!!!

Waiter and all of the dates we interacted with were very nice. Food was good, country potatoes were boiled and not fried and not seasoned great, but everything else was diner style and tasted good. Here's the issue on why I'm giving 3 stars: it was Sunday brunch, which I know can be busy and hectic and crazy. They had no host and so when people were coming in when the tables were full, the seating situation was managed poorly. The staff tried to tag team but it didn't work out super well and some people got sat before others who came earlier, simply because they were waiting outside. It was just kind of crazy and personally I think a hostess is an important position you can't just not have. I highly recommend when the diner is at capacity to have a staff member stop what they are doing and focus solely on the hostess stand.

We had an egg sandwich, the chia seed granola and a coffee smoothie. The bread on the egg sandwich was so yummy! He told me he makes the bread in-house with no preservatives! Wow! It was so good!! The chia seed granola has coconut flakes and organic maple syrup. Just the right amount of sweetness. The food is made to order with care, so the pace is a little slow, but I love that. Sit down and relax and enjoy a healthy meal and destress. The owner is so pleasant and friendly. If you care what goes into your body, take time out to visit this place. It was very light in weight tho! After I left to eat it I was shocked! Not one piece of fruit anywhere! Just coconut shreds on top of pukey green açaí stuff apparently from the blended spinach!
