Stopped in at maybe 7:30-8pm on Wednesday 1/8/2020, and it was dead to say the least. Just me, my husband and another customer who I'm going to assume was a regular. Our server, I believe her name was Julie, was lovely. I mean that. It was another employee that this review is about. I get that the restaurant was dry but you probably shouldn't talk about how your ex said he was going to come to your job and threaten you when there are customers in the restaurant. Completely unprofessional. And the fact she was telling this to ANOTHER customer was even more disturbing. Been here a few times and the service is typically slow, but I've never had such a bad or good experience that it warranted a review. However, today's experience was ridiculous. My wife and I waited for 15 - 20ish minutes and did not see a host at all in that time. So, we stood there awkwardly waiting to be greeted by anyone, or to be told that we would be attended once someone had a free moment, but no. We stood there while staff actively avoided eye contact with us and did their best to ignore us. In fact, no one said a single word to us. If your staff fails to at least greet a customer, you should probably hire new staff. read more

Went here for a quick bite with my wife and daughter...my mistake...so we placed our order...our first request was for Water no lemon...all 3 came to our table with lemon...next my daughter tried to order the potato soup...of course that was out...next, we finished placing our order and waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive. My wife received half of her order and then was told that the rest of her meal was not available...seriously!?!...it took that long to let us know. The steak my daughter ordered was incorrect, the food I ordered was disgusting and burned. The waiter states "sometimes it's hit or miss here." What!?! Who says that? This was the worst experience dining out I've had in a while! My party of 5 arrived at 10am yesterday. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait before we could be seated. It was closer to 30-35 minutes before the host seated us, and they had several open tables (I understand that every other table/booth is intended to stay empty for social distancing, but even other than that, there were several empty spots, and a couple others that had not been bussed yet). The chemical they're using to clean off the tables was so potent, and they sprayed and wiped right before they seated us- inhaling it made me cough a few times. My pregnant sister-in-law and her 3-year-old with asthma were overwhelmed by the chemical air we inhaled as well. We were seated, and not given any menus or silverware or offered any waters- the host told us she would bring us menus shortly. Another 5-10 minutes went by, and our waitress brought us menus, and asked for our drink orders. Those came out pretty quickly, and then our food order was put in. Then (good thing I was in good company!) it took about another 45 minutes before our food came out. My food was lukewarm, and I requested that my bacon come on a separate plate, and it did not, but that's the only complaint I have about the food itself. read more

As I was reading reviews of this place on Yelp our food came right up and arrived hot. We're talking 10 min. or so after we ordered. The food was basic bacon, eggs and pancake fare and was done as we ordered. Our server was pleasant and another server made sure our coffee mugs never ran out. Don't know much more that you could ask for. All in all a decent dining experience. Quite contrary to a lot of other reviews so.....This was at 11 am on a Wednesday by the way. read more

I really wanted to give this Denny's one star. The good: servers smiled when you walked in. That's it. Rest is bad. I always thought that no matter where I went Denny's food be the same everywhere. Not true. Don't expect the same experience you have at other Denny's here. There is no communication between the servers and the cooks. There were two of us and they got both the order wrong. It does not stop here. We did not send anything back. We thought why waste it we'll give it a shot. Worst breakfast I have had in a long time. They charged us for two things we didn't even order. When I brought it to the server's attention he apologized and said he would take care of it. When he came back he only took one the extra's off. Will not be coming to this Denny's again. Wow the worst Denny's I ever been to. First the waitress at the beginning was loss. Second one hour late for "our food" Third when finally the food came was half of the dish and really bad looking. TERRIBLE experience. I was hungry and looking for a place that was open. I checked online and it said Denny's was open until 8pm. I get there around 7:30 hoping to grab something and no. Doors are locked, employees see me outside and just stare at me. They did not even have the courtesy to come tell me at the door that they are closed even though there hours say they were open. So I try calling and what do they do? Hang up and ignore my calls. I was there about 7 minutes and all they did was stare and talk amongst themselves from inside. Please don't waste your time here. I usually like to try places while ignoring the reviews, but this place was just a bad experience for me. Menus were dirty and sticky! Disgusting! It was a little busy so our waiter took some time to get to us, but no big deal. I understand. I ordered the steak and eggs and ordered my steak med rare. Once it came out, I received a dirty steak knife. Does anyone know how to clean in that restaurant? Finally, when I got my clean knife and was able to cut into my steak, it was not med rare. Not even rare. It was BLUE RARE where they literally just sear the outside. I told my waiter that I wanted my steak med rare and even showed him how it was still raw on the inside. He didn't say a word to me and just looked at me like I had two heads. He took it back to the kitchen (again without saying anything) where they then probably just nuked it in the microwave or put it back on the stove top and over cooked my steak. Waiter never came back after that, someone else dropped off the steak. I didn't even want to eat it anymore. I know it's not his fault that my steak didn't come out correctly, but I'm disappointed by his reaction and the actions he barely attempted to alleviate the problem. So I went here last night with my family around 11pm and personally the service was HORRIBLE! So we get seated by a waitress named "Julie" who seemed to be the only one working in there! Two different couples walked in with us and were also seated. It took 20 minutes before our table even got drinks. One of the people that came in around the same time just got their food, which made no sense at all! When we finally got to place our orders for drinks, it seemed that y'all were out of about everything!!! Y'all were out of iced teas, strawberries, tater tots, peanut butter, meatballs, and much more! WE WERE OUT OF PATIENCE!!!! When we finally got our food which was an hour and a half later, we were brought French toast with one order because "the waffle machine is down"! The best part of the night was being able to finally eat, but that died down when I realized that my toast was burnt and cold, my bacon was cold, and my sausage was raw!!! Sorry Denny's but two out of three strikes and you're out. The first time we ordered lunch, the food was good. The second time, I was there for dinner and found raw onion in my pancake (it was between the pancakes). Needless to say my taste buds weren't happy about this and my meal was ruined. What did the waitress have to say when I brought it up? "Oh. Sorry." Gee thanks. Today I thought I would order a Cobb salad for lunch. First, prepping my food didn't start until I arrived, 15 minutes after I called. Then as I was paying, I was asked to leave a tip. Um, I generally don't leave tips for take out ... and finally, the salad was awful. The chicken was all gristle and fat, the avocado was brown, the egg was completely missing and what's with the divided plastic container? It's a salad. It doesn't need to come in a divided container. Came here at 3:30am with my two friends for takeout. There was a male waiter named David who only had 3 tables and a bus boy. We waited for 20 minutes for him to even help us, we were just sitting in the waiting area. We only ordered 3 appetizers which took another 30 minutes. It is now 4:30am and we just left. I work in a restaurant too and I understand it can be stressful at times, but the service here was extremely poor. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, and this Denny's definitely deserves one. The service here is consistently bad. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, but it doesn't matter if it's a full house or there are only 4 tables, plan on waiting an hour for your food. One time we waited an hour and ended up with a burger that had noticeably been sitting under a heat lamp because the top bun was dry and the bottom bun was soggy, and a plate of French fries that were incredibly dry, cold, and stuck together. It took them an hour to bring us our food and there were only 3 other tables. If you want to wait an hour for mediocre food, go to Denny's. But if you don't feel like waiting for an hour, take your business elsewhere. read more

The food was good and our waitress was nice but the service was lacking. They got both of our orders wrong 3 times. Then never brought us syrup or refilled our coffee. From the first time we entered, my girlfriend was disgusted with the dirty bathroom. She almost lost her appetite after that experience. We were optimistic, though. Our waitress Hannah was the brightest part of our experience at this Horribly run Denny's. We ordered burgers, thinking how could they screw this up. Being a lover of mushrooms, my girlfriend ordered her bourbon bacon burger (because it came with mushrooms). The burger came to the table and we noticed that there were NO mushrooms on it. The number one reason for ordering THAT burger was the one thing they told us they had None of. Now the burgers tasted good but we figured they could at least take off $. 50 or something for the lack of mushrooms. But the manager, Laura, rudely disagreed and said no way. First off, this building is way too small to be a Denny's. We had to wait outside and it took forever to be seated even when it wasn't that busy. The workers here are very disorganized and have no plan when it comes to seating. Our soda had no syrup in it, and the food took forever to come. We waited far to long to receive service, another server came to give us menus and drinks. Our server eventually came to get our drink order and took our food order. More than a half hour later we got our food and ate. Our server was MIA again and we walked to the register for our check as we had been done eating for almost 10 minutes. The server who originally sat us called to our server who was in the kitchen talking with the staff. She seemed to be spending more time in the kitchen talking than tending to her tables.
