Came on a Sunday evening and there was a decent wait of about 25 mins to get seated. I got a special that as a 12oz ny strip with 6 shrimp for $32. The strip was cooked to a medium instead of medium rare. Most of the steak seemed to be a bit of a cheaper quality since there wasn't much marbling and was a bit chewy in some spots. The waiter suggested the BBQ chicken so I said OK. The manager brought it to back asked me to check it out. Not a good experience. First, the place was really load. The woman up front showind us to our table asked a question, repeatedly, and we couldn't understand her. Eventually we just went to our table. We were fiven delicious bread rolls but no utensils to spread the butter with. Which turned out to be cinammon butter, which we didn't like. I ordered the Dallas steak with mashed potatoes and a salad. I aksed for the salad without eggs and wouldn't you know I got it with eggs. The steak was cooked well and was tender, but lacked flavor and juciness. The mashed potatoes were good, but served in a cup, amking it hard to get to all of the portion. My wife ordered the steaktip in mushroom sauce. The tips were smothered in the sauce, which she didn't like, and there were twice as many mushrooms as steak tips. She went away hungry. Because of the noise....music, TVs and customers, we were unable to talk to each other. We were served by a number of different waitresses and waiters and found it hard to find the one we needed to talk to. The place is also more expensive than the other steakhouses we've been to. Texas Roadhouse was a very good experience! When you walk in the restaurant, you get a good vibe and it's a very exciting place. There's a bunch of TV's playing lots of sports and it's overall very good. When someone has a birthday they do a yee haw which also makes that vibe more like the name of the place. The service is pretty good but I just wish that they would check on you a little more. However, the servers were very nice. The taste of the food is extraordinary! It comes with a choice of peppercorn or mushroom sauce, I opted to try both. I think the mushroom sauce is superior but both are super yummy. This place seemed to get a ton of negative reviews, but I had to give it a chance. Over the course of several weeks I ate at the location in Sierra Vista 4 times. And each time the food was outstanding!! Only one time did I have a problem with service. Typical of this restaurant, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The standard TVs, sports memorabilia and western decorations are present. And the rolls are amazing (although they could cook them a minute or two less) I had the ribeye on 3 occasions and the prime rib on one. Each time my steak was cooked perfectly. A little inconsistent with the salads, but it's a side salad so who cares. Baked potatoes (sweet or regular) were good and loaded with toppings. Upon arriving and checking in, (we were sitting right near hostess where she told us to sit), we saw At least 5 groups walk out (because they were done) and 2 groups walk in AFTER us and get seated while we sat right there!! after seeing this i got up fuming and may or may not have swore at the hostess, at which point we were seated promptly (after passing 6 empty tables).....the waitress came over and took our order, which at first was good, then the appetizer came out and ruined it (was nasty tasting).......by this time my drink was empty for at least 15 minutes because then i noticed the people that came in AFTER us at those empty tables were getting their food BEFORE US!! Then along comes DAN with our food finally (thank god he was a manager) ((he had to get our refills ))and made it somewhat better .... he must have talked to our "waitress" because she finally came around.....we go here a bit, and this was by far the worst ever for us......... let me add that the main courses were both delicious.....as of now, not sure we'll be back!! read more

They had information directly out front on easels about the proper dining in & ordering out protocol. All restaurant staff had masks on. They had 2 ft clear plexiglass on all the backs of the booths for safety. Everyone was adhering to 6 ft social distancing. I walked in at 6:45 pm tonight Sunday and it was busy but the staff served all the patrons thoroughly, efficiently, & courteously. When they seated me, they grabbed warm rolls with cinnamon butter directly from the kitchen. They are great but dangerous. I usually forego bread but they were pillowy, warm & the buttah was to die for. You can access the menu through their WiFi & Scan the QR code or you can request a paper menu. I settled on a sangria margarita on the rocks which was great. It was delivered in minutes to my table by my server. I ordered the 8 oz filet med rare with a loaded baked potato no buttah & a Caesar salad. The Caesar was good but didn't have that garlicky flavor that I love on the dressing. Croutons were super crispy along with the romaine & topped with shedded Parmesan. Very good! The steak arrived after I was done with my salad about 15 mins later. They were monitoring g my eating so they could ensure I wouldn't get my steak too early. LOVE THAT! My bake potato was perfectly cooked with plenty of sour cream, shredded cheddar & homemade bacon bits. The steak was seasoned perfectly, very tender & cooked perfectly medium rare. The wait person checked on me twice after my entree was served just to make sure I was doing ok & if I needed anything. She was fantastic. There was a manager diligently circulating the dining rooms & checking on people to make sure everyone was happy. I am a devoted Outback fan but this place has thoroughly impressed me. Ordered from here again during the pandemic. The food was much better than last time. I got the rib and steak combo with shrimp and mushrooms and onions. Thing though, I only had 2 shrimp. Usually there is 3 shrimp but this one came with 2. So I was very disappointed in that. And I asked for a mashed potatoes with gravy. I got the mashed potatoes but it didn't come with the gravy. But it was still good. Last time, the ribs was dry and crusty. This time it was juicy and delicious. I was very happy with that. And the steak was delicious too. I normally don't leave reviews for chain restaurants because you get what you expect but I had the most exceptional service from one of their waitresses every time. I think her name is Chynna-Mai(?). She is so attentive and quick to get drinks. She clearly knows the menu forwards and backwards. Whenever I ask her about recommendations for me and my friends, she knows exactly what to order. I don't know the types of different steaks (I honestly should at this point) but she's always super kind and reminds each and every time. I honestly go back once a month just because she makes me believe in the brand. Her smile, friendly attitude and commitment to customer service really gives the place a fantastic ambiance. If you go, I definitely recommend asking for her if it's not too busy. But honestly she could still handle your table like a pro even when it's booked. read more

As I walked up to the to go window a girl quickly opened the window I told her I needed to place a to go order and rudely shouted we only do them by phone and slams the window shut in my face.... yes.... that's correct if this was not specifically requested for our gathering I would've left at that exact moment! So I calmly walk inside and place my order by my phone from which is where the experience got worse because as I'm trying to place my order with the same girl who slammed the window she can't hear me and she keeps saying the phone isn't working, mind you i am like ten feet away I ask her if she could just turn around and take my order and she replies no, at this point I flag down some help by another person and my order gets placed. The girl never made eye contact and had her back towards me the entire time ! This is probably one of my worst experiences I've had while making an order to go anywhere. I really want to emphasize that this order was requested and that if it wasn't I would've left because this has been terrible service. My husband got a sirloin, salad, and loaded mashed potatoes. The stead was perfectly cooked. All was delicious. I ordered Chicken critters, salad, and apple sauce. This is a regular stop for us for a quick dinner. If I could give zero stars today, I would. I guess they deserve a star for the speed at which they delivered our meals. We usually sit at the bar. The glass my husband's beer was served in had a rough edge. He told the bartender. She poured the beer from the bad glass into another glass. Nope -not appropriate. What if there was a piece of glass in his drink? He requested a fresh glass. She got him a new glass. It had a chip in it. He decided to just not complain. After the runners brought our dinner, a manager, Jennifer stopped by to see how everything was. We told her about the glass. She noted the chip but did not take the glass away. She apologized and left, saying she'd reinforce the proper way to handle the situation. Wrong! She should have taken the glass! I then chased her down, because my bacon cheeseburger didn't have the bacon. The bacon appeared shortly after. The bartender said she'd put it in as a bacon cheeseburger.
