GROSS. The bathroom was DISGUSTING like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. The food was NASTY and when we complained to two workers and the manager they didn't do anything about it. TERRIBLE customer service, TRASHY environment and the grossest food ever. I'll never go back there again read more

Usually I have decent service at Denny's but tonight the service was horrendous I usually don't leave bad reviews because I'm a food service manager and hate when we get them. But the waitress was disrespectful to me my girlfriend and the customers around us. When we got there she brought the customers sitting behind us the wrong drinks and when they told her that those wasn't there drinks they must be for another table she said your my only table so I'm not wrong. Which is not something you say to your customers. Then we didn't have anyone ask us for drinks for 15 minutes I asked for a water and my girlfriend got a soda and milkshake they brought the soda and milkshake and walked away without bringing the water so I had to ask again for the water. Then realized the milkshake was completely melted and when we got the food there wasn't bacon on the burger there wasn't seasoning on our vegetables like we requested and the meat was like warm and dry on the burger and the steak and we ordered it rare. When we asked the waitress if we got seasoning on our Vegetables she said if you asked for it you got it with a lot of attitude but I had to double check and there wasn't we had the manager asked. This attitude from the worker was the last straw and I decided it was time to leave but before I did I went to tell the manager that his waitress was disrespectful to us and the food wasn't right, and he said nothing but sorry have a nice night. I've been going to Denny's since I was a little girl. This is by far the WORST service I've ever experienced in a Denny's establishment. Our server was super forgetful, didn't even come and check on us, she was just awful. ( I forgot to catch her name.) In CA, they get paid minimum wage (I used to be a server for a year) and she's lucky she even got a tip. I was going to give a few dollars, but my fiancé is such a nice person and didn't want to seem like an A-Hole, so he gave her a 20% tip because she was the one who collected the payment at the register. I love how inattentive she was with our table, yet very attentive to give us our check and collect our money. The food was fine, I just wished we had everything we needed without constantly asking for stuff which I've never experienced at a Denny's! Pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and neat inside here. Stopped in for a quick, late nite bite to eat. Even though there was only one other table, all the employees were hustling around, cleaning and straightening up. This is nice to see! Depending on when you go to denny's it then depends on the service they will give you. If it really busy then they might be slow at serving you then jump to other table but if they are not busy they will help you smoother. Depends on the waiter also cause some suck at the job and some are pretty good. read more

I will never set foot in this place again. My husband and I went in with our two small children after trick or treating on Halloween night. They were relatively slow as far as the amount of customers present. We stood in the lobby forever while servers just ignored us. Finally, my husband caught the attention of a guy named Elias and told him we wanted to be seated. He said he'd be right with us. We waited. Then all of the sudden another couple walked in, and he immediately walked up to them and led them to a table. We were in disbelief. When my husband asked him why we still weren't seated he very nonchalantly said "I'll seat you next" with a kind of smirk and eye roll. My husband questioned why weren't seated first being we had been waiting for 10-15 minutes. He became very aggressive and unprofessional. I told my husband it was fine and that we should just leave. Elias looked at us and said "yeah... leave!" And started to walk away. We were so astonished at being treated this way. My husband asked for his name and he gave it to us and when my husband said we were going file a complaint he started cussing us out and then grabbed the phone and said he was going to call the police on us! For what? What a weird experience! All in front of my 1 and 3 year old on top of that. I'll be filing a complaint with the corporate office as well. When I got their the host was very fast to seat us. We sat and waited a while before we asked the host where are server was because we were really thirsty. She then asked what we wanted to drink and braught it to us. Our server came after and we told him what we wanted. He was very energetic and super outgoing. He had a smile on his face the whole time . Our food came out nice and hot and super fast.. we didn't have to ask for a refill because the server was so fast and stayed focused on us even with the late night rush. My fiancé ordered a piece of pie and the server braught it out fast however that was such a small piece of pie for the price of it . I ordered a slice of cheesecake that was bigger then his yet they were the same price? He gave us amazing service but I feel we're paying already to much for the portion we are getting. However I would rate the bathrooms a one. The ladies bathroom was disgusting. The walls had dirty handprints in the walls, the toilets were disgusting with pee, blood, and hair all over it as well as you can tell they didn't clean anywhere around the actual toilet and their was toilet paper stuck on the ceiling of the bathroom. I like going to Denny's for breakfast with friends. Since moving to this area, I have visited the OV Denny's several times and had a great experience each time. It has classic diner food and is great for groups with kids. Our waitress was very attentive and timely with drink refills. Overall good food, but we ordered a milk shake and the sampler which didn't have the full portion of food. The server was not the usual server we get, she took for ever to refill water and take our order. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The only plus side was our waitress was very kind and attentive and she also was the only waitress I saw handling any costumers not only was she waiting tables but she was also cashing out all of the customers at the register in the front, as well as taking care of take out orders. Aside from her which I don't recall her name, the food was terrible. Ice tea was old and bitter like it had been sitting out for days with no refrigeration. There was hair in both my one year old and my sisters food. And the soup war terribly salty and honestly tasted like the worst kind of caned soup you could possibly buy. Honestly I've never made a review on any restaurant before but I downloaded an app to my phone right after walking out of the place. This place needs new management and proper training. We have been going here for 16 years. Always a nice place to go when you just want a simple hot meal with no fuss. In the past, food, service as you would expect. Our favorite waitress with her love of all things Dr. Who, is dearly missed. Not sure where she went but she made this place a five star even though it is a Denny's! The owner should get her back- we miss the excellent service. The remodel is really nice! However we have noticed a steep decline in the food quality. Also noticed not enough wait staff and help in the kitchen... takes forever to get served and then to have the food taste like it was from a cheap cafeteria in a bad hospital. I don't want to blame all the staff as it seems like the owner is running a skeleton crew, and with little experience. We won't be going here for a long while. I dont think its that they're under staffed bc we've been there when they were pretty slow. Same horrible service. We've had sodas spilling over served to our table twice. The place is filthy despite having been closed for remodeling last year. Staff and management are rude and don't seem to like dealing with people.
