Here on a sunday night. It's not packed at all but it took 15 minutes to place a drink order. We finally get our food 30 minutes after that. The waitress spills my daughters food on the table. My french toast slam comes but yet there is no french toast. The cook forgot to make it. We also ordered a new skillet that has chicken. It comes and there is no chicken on it. It is just potatoes and onions with cheese on the skillet. We tried getting the waitress to come back and there is no one working the floor. We just moved up to Palmdale and have been going to this Denny's on 47th street . We have had good service until yesterday morning, our waitress was Lesly and she did her job just as any good waitress would (polite , quick , helpful ) Thank you ! LESLY , until another waitress( Carolina) came out to give us our food and asked which one was who's , as we were gonna let her know because I was looking which plate was mine she practically just through the plates on our table as saying ( she don't have time and figure it out ourselves) very rudely!!!!! I've only been to a couple that had bad service, including one in Hollywood, but my local one is good AND they have 20% discounts on their receipts good for up to 7 days after purchasing your meal! Keeps me coming back! And I love their new Greek Salad that I usually get with the Wild Caught Salmon (extra charge. Been here several times and each time I seem to always get the Chocolate Shake, which is always satisfying. Its great to have a place open 24 hours in the neighborhood that you can go to and have a quiet relaxing meal alone or with a friend. Have tried several items on the menu, but enjoy most is the spaghetti and the burgers. The meals are more than enough and always end up taking home half. I have had okay service here before although recently I had a terrible experience. My party & I received our food cold and very late. A friend of mine never received the rest of her meal. This is my favorite Dennys in the Av area. The staff and the manager always communicate well and are attentive. They took extra time to make sure my fries were fresh and that I had all the sauces I need. The best part is that the manager Christina always remembers me and my order. The servers Mario or Jesus they always know how to a delicious meal better when they recommend some personal favorites or new things on the items. Stopped in Saturday morning for a little breakfast before a ride with friends. What can you say about a basic breakfast? Seriously not sure how to talk it up. It was as expected, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, nothing fancy. And of course, Coffee. Well, they do the basics right here. Our server, Rebecca, was delightful and had the right sense of humor to keep up with us. She kept my coffee full and got our order correct. The food is like other Denny's but the service is terrible... we never see our waitress again after she served our food. Nobody checked on us if we need anything else or even a refill of soda or a desert, I have to chase the waiter from the other side of the restaurant just to get a refill. Came in on a Sunday night around 10pm. We were seated next to the grill area where several waitresses were standing around gossiping loudly. How nice I now have the knowledge of who is dating who and who recently was fired. If that wasn't bad enough. .. one of the waitresses decided to put her hair up in a ponytail right there in the kitchen! !! Disgusting! ! She then preceded to make tea and coffee and even served a table! When I asked for the manager I was stunned to see the same young lady that was involved in the gossip circle! Outrageous! I came in during Sunday brunch and was expecting to wait but surprisingly was seated immediately. Our server (her name was LAURA) was very kind and checked up on us a couple of times even though they were busy. That's something I really appreciate. When they forgot to bring my stack of pancakes, I let the server know and she was very kind and brought them over quickly. I am very impressed with the customer service I was provided, with the food that was hot and delicious, and I even noticed that the communication between the cooks and the servers was very professional. I was really Impressed. The service was fantastic. I took my Mum here for a nice outing. For an appetizer we got their Hot Wings and one of them was not entirely done. I bought it to our servers attention and he was amazing. He promptly went to his manager and came back very quickly and said they would do a new batch of wings for us and comp our desserts. Both he and the gorgeous gal who also served us were fantastic. I could kick myself for forgetting their names. The gal had long dark hair and was so nice. Heck she could be a model. We also got their Chicken Fried Steak and the Prime Rib Sizzling Skillet. Delicious. They really went above and beyond the call of duty to make us happy. We will definitely be back. read more

Thank you Dennys for having the biggest cheeseburgers and fries. I went during the week around 530PM craving a burger, I was happy it was not over crowded and seating was quick. My order was taken at 540 and by 555 I was enjoying my burger. I ordered pancakes to take home and was paid and leaving by 630. My go to used to be IHOP but they went downhill with service and food about 7yrs ago . I will go to either the one on 20th in Lancaster or this one for a good tasting well priced meal. read more

I visited this location today for my birthday to get the free grand slam! It was rather busy but I was seated immediately. The hostess was really kind. After a short wait my server Carolina came over to take my order. I told her I was there for the free grand slam and she didn't mind at all. She told me happy birthday and then explained what was available for me off the menu. She took my order without a problem. Food arrived as I ordered it, she checked in with me to make sure I was ok. When I had finished to my surprise and delight she offered me a free ice cream! Impeccable service! She went way above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and I wasn't even a paying customer. WORST Denny's I have ever been too!!!!! If I could give zero stars then I would!!!! Terrible service each time I went there. I will never again eat at this 47th st location. I love Denny's and eat there quite a bit, so I gave this location several chances. Each time HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I ordered a prime rib cob salad, they bring out my food and I see there was no eggs in my salad. I asked the waitress and with an attitude tells me their out of eggs. First, how the hell is a diner out of eggs?!? Half the menu involves eggs. Second, why didn't they tell me they were out of eggs is that okay? Still want to order this salad? They said Nothing to me, they brought it out and hoped I wouldn't notice. They also were out of avocados on a separate visit. I ordered a bacon avocado burger and waited 40 plus minutes for my food only to find out by the rudest, laziest waiter on earth that " oh hey by the way I guess we're out of avocado" end quote. Seriously?! That's something that as the customer should have been informed of upon me ordering the food. Now the final straw, 3 strikes your out. I went in for lunch time ordered a burger, so far so good, surprisingly. Was happy with the food, then I asked my waitress for extra ranch which she brought but upon me pouring the ranch on my burger I see a hair!!!! GROSS!!!! Completely ruined my appetite, finding a hair in food is so unsanitary and 100% unacceptable! I immediately notified the waitress about the hair and she immediately took the ranch away, actually more like snatched it away aggressively. Some ranch spilled on the floor. I told her to take my food and my husband food as well. Then she stared to argue with me saying "well the hair wasn't in your burger it was in the ranch so what's the problem" ughh what's the problem?? hair in my food lady!!! I told her take your hair infested food I'm leaving and certainly not paying for that. She should have tried to diffuse the situation and apologize greatly for hair being in the food, but no instead she acted like oh well no big deal. Well never again will I eat there. Terrible service, and hair in the food is enough for me to run away!!!! Plus the overall appearance and decor of this Denny's is outdated and kinda dirty. The carpet smells a bit, like when your eating you catch a whiff of something smelly. Save yourself the frustration and eat at another location! read more
