It doesn't matt r what time of day, you can be the only one in line. Service is slow and food is NEVER fresh. I've live around the corner for 10 yrs. This place sucks. I have to be super hungry to come here and super over priced The wait is fooooooooooorever!

My husband and I went to Denny's for breakfast this morning. I ordered the 55+ omelette, which came with carmelized onions, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. I also got hash browns and wheat toast. My husband ordered a Super Slam, which came with two eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausage links, hash browns, and 2 pancakes. My omelette was really good. They sure didn't skimp on the onions. The only problem was the toast. It was only toasted on one side. Our server never checked on us until we were almost finished, so my husband mentioned the toast then. She offered to bring us more, but it was too late. What I really liked is that they leave a small carafe of coffee so you can just refill your cup yourself. I know what you're thinking... Really Denny's. Yes Denny's! This Denny's. Only this Denny's. This review is about the breakfast on the weekend. How can you mess up breakfast? Yeah how can you mess up breakfast! Well I've been to places where I've paid over 20 dollars for all entree and it sucked. Not here. I'm telling you consistency. This is my 4th time coming here on the weekend. It took me the 4th time coming here to write this. I normally don't write reviews for chains. They are consistent. I don't know who is cooking but dang they can cook. It is always made the way I asked. I like crispy hashbrowns. Omelet always delicious. I'm telling you they can cook breakfast and also Burgers. Lol I have to give the cook praise. Thank you to whoever makes my breakfast. I really appreciate it. The service is always great. Wait staff is always nice. Denny's has everything you need at the table. This is truly bang for your buck. I rather go here to this specific Denny's than these really expensive gimmicky breakfast places. It's a very chill old school feel diner. Seriously come here on a Saturday or Sunday morning. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Join the Denny's club. You get monthly coupons for even more savings.

My husband and I were just there. I want to give high ratings to the manager, Erick. It was super busy and he worked very well under pressure. We sat at the front counter, while eating, I noticed a well orchestrated team at work. They serviced us great and the whole place. I would like to thank Karly with a huge smile the whole time. Yesenia showed up and jumped in, just like a synchronized swimmer with no flaws. THANK YOU WELL DONE. COME VISIT!

I was so disappointed when I ordered a $7 plus tax shake just to get a baby cup. I feel like someone played a prank. The waiter did not care that we were bothered.

Our server, Justice, was nice. Found an 8 inch hair (or plastic as Justice suggested) in pancake. The two orders of pancakes were barely warm, butter wasn't melting. Got over charged for pancakes and server said to bring to cashier to get it taken off. Cashier did not take it off. Server was good, just management and kitchen bad.

    Mile High Denver Omelette
    Simon L.

Came here on an early afternoon and we had the place all to ourselves. I got the Mile High Denver Omelette which was delicious I loved the fresh peppers inside of it. I also substituted the toast for pancakes free of charge! The place was clean we were the only ones and out of all the Denny's I've been to, this one is probably the biggest one i've seen at least with lots of seating available. Service was just okay, our server sat us and took our orders but never checked up on us to see how we were doing nor offered any refills.

Best Denn'ys in the San Gabriel Valley. My waitress Karly is always making sure the coffee is hot and fresh. Fernando the manager is a great leader

I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

It's a brown sugar milk tea with caramel foam with a floating frozen milk tea bear. ADORABLE!! The set even includes two house-made cookies. WOW! TASTY!! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 10:21AM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. However, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is very hidden. It has no visibility from the street! Staff is very professional and welcoming. Staff politely and cheerfully answered all my questions. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. For example, the location does not have a paper menu; all the menus are accessed via QR Code. Fortunately, Staff let me borrow their iPad which allowed me to see the menu on a larger screen. When I'd arrived, Staff asked if I was dine-in or to-go. I was immediately seated. When I'd inquired about the boba. Staff honestly told me that they needed 15 additional minutes to prepare the boba. I brightly waited. All in all, after the 15 minute wait, the drink took an additional 10 minutes before being ready. As mentioned, I ordered the Boba Bear Set ($8.50). CUTE!!! It's a very aesthetic and memorable presentation. The boba pearls came perfect; they're bouncy, perky, and playful. The brown sugar milk tea mixed with the caramel foam tasted honey-like. It's very TASTY! My biggest nitpick is that the amount felt tiny. Still, it's a wonderful memory that I'm so happy to experience! On ambiance, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is comfortable and clean. There's about 13 interior tables, and there's six patio tables. The music is slow-tempo, and the tall ceiling made it feel spacious. In addition, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) has utility. There's customer internet with password; details are available on the QR code menu. There's also about four electrical outlets. I also appreciated the self-service water station. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) felt very hidden yet well-maintained. It's a lovely spot. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience. I discovered AMAZING milk tea and many precious memories. If searching for someplace special, I happily recommend. 4.9 out of 5

Great food, front-of-house needs a bit of work…read more.. We made reservations for Mother's Day brunch a week ahead and thankfully we did as they had booked up at least 1 or 2 days before. Parking is super easy as it's in a plaza and shares a big lot with other businesses. They had a special menu, so I'm not too sure what is and is not part of their usual menu, but this is what we ordered: 1. Baltimore Crab Cakes (comes with 2): we were pleasantly surprised as it came with a side salad; the crab cakes themselves were not dry at all and came with a good amount of crab. Delicious, 5/5 2. Heirloom tomato and stone fruit salad: one of the things they pride themselves on is sourcing their ingredients locally and sustainably. You can really tell with this dish that all of their ingredients are really high-quality and fresh. The stonefruit was super sweet. The price ($18) was a bit high for the portion size, so this was a 4/5 for us. 3. Crab & tonnarelli: really good cook on the pasta; my husband is really picky on pasta that's overcooked, but this came to us perfectly al dente. There was a good amount of crab as well, so we appreciated that they didn't skimp. That said, the taste was a bit one-toned and underseasoned, which is a lot coming from us since we typically complain about food being too salty. If it came with a bit more salt, it would've been one of our favorites. 3.5 (maybe 4)/5 4. Pork sisig and garlic rice: we love sisig, so we had to order it. While it was super flavorful and delicious, we couldn't finish it on the spot since it was pretty salty and we were getting full. We did take it home and cook some more vegetables into it to dilute the salt a bit. 4/5 5. Ricotta cheese pancakes: super fluffy and airy, you can tell why they need 20 minutes to prep them. Again, the fruit they used was super fresh and sweet. Loved, no notes. 5/5 Service-wise, there were some hiccups with our orders. Our salad came to us without the burrata and when we asked them about it, it took about 3-4 people double-checking their menu to confirm it actually came with burrata, then a handful more minutes to rectify it. It seemed strange to me that they were unfamiliar with their own menu. Our pork sisig dish came out much later than every other dish and our waiter had to check up on it a few times, so it may have just gotten missed. There seemed to be a lot of people working in the front, but somehow hard to flag them down and get helped when we needed it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it was Mother's Day and I'm sure it was busier than usual. Our waiter was also gracious in comping a drink as a result of the long wait for the sisig. Overall, we'll still come back as we want to try other dishes and we do appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and their integration of vegetables with dishes, which can sometimes be hard to come by. Just wanted to provide some feedback on service in hopes they'll take it constructively.

This isn't just soup; it's a "wellness" bowl. The chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender, and the broth is clean yet deeply nourishing, infused with the earthy bitterness of ginseng and the sweetness of red dates (jujube). It arrives bubbling in a traditional stone pot, which keeps it piping hot until the last spoonful. Japchae (Stir-Fried Glass Noodles) A fantastic side or shared plate. The sweet potato starch noodles have that perfect "chewy-tender" (tang-tang) texture. Tossed with wood ear mushrooms, spinach, carrots, and beef, it strikes a great balance of savory and sweet without being overly greasy. The generous sprinkle of sesame seeds on top adds a nice nutty finish. Dakjuk (Chicken Porridge) The ultimate "feel-good" meal. This rice porridge is thick and creamy, highlighting the natural flavors of the chicken and scallions. It's light on the stomach but incredibly satisfying--ideal for a chilly day or when you're feeling a bit under the weather. Experience Highlights Authenticity: They stay true to the "originality" they promise, focusing on clean ingredients and traditional preparation. The Banchan: Don't skip the side dishes. Their kimchi is crisp and tangy, providing the perfect spicy contrast to the mild, savory porridges and soups. Atmosphere: It's a clean, straightforward, and no-frills cafe environment. The service is typically efficient, and the food comes out fresh and steaming. Summary Whether you're there for the medicinal benefits of the Ginseng Chicken or just a solid plate of Japchae, Bonjuk & Bibimbap remains a reliable staple in the Rowland Heights Korean food scene. It's healthy, hearty, and consistently high quality. Pro Tip: If you're ordering the Samgyetang, give the broth a taste before adding salt; it's often seasoned well enough to let the herbal notes shine on their own!

My group got there at 10AM on a Sunday, and there was no line/wait. I did see a line start to form outside the door around 10:40 AM. Parking was easy to find at this time. The store is small and cute with lots of tropical vibes. Food was overall good! We ordered four dishes to share between three people: the silog breakfast bowl with tocino, poutine with longanisa, iloko moco, and Thai tea french toast. Portion size was good. We had some leftovers, which were enough for me to eat as my dinner later that day. My favorite was the poutine; it was so crispy and went well with the egg and longanisa! The only problem was that the tater tots got soggy after about 10 minutes so they were not as good afterward. The iloko moco and breakfast bowl were also good. For meats, i liked both the longanisa and tocino. The meats were flavorful and not too salty. I was not a fan of the Thai tea french toast because it was way too sweet for me. The Thai tea flavor was very strong. That being said, my brother liked it. He actually asked for additional maple syrup to pour on top of the French toast because he wanted it EXTRA sweet. If you have a sweet tooth, this may be the dish for you.

My family had visited Lola's before and wanted me to give it a try, so we stopped by on a Monday…read morefor brunch/early lunch. We were seated quickly upon arrival. Menus are available via QR code at the table, though physical menus can also be requested. Service seemed a bit stretched, as there was only one gentleman handling seating, drinks, and orders, along with two kitchen staff members helping run food. Adobo Rice Omelet ($14.95): Garlic rice with chopped chicken adobo wrapped in a thin egg omelet, topped with adobo gravy, fried garlic, and scallions. The chicken was a little dry, and the gravy leaned saltier than I prefer. This isn't a dish I'd order again. Iloko Moco ($19.95): Country fried steak over garlic rice with two eggs, finished with adobo gravy, green onions, and fried garlic. This was definitely the standout dish for me. The chicken was crispy yet tender, and the thinly sliced Thai chilies offered on the side added a delicious kick. Ube Pancakes ($14.95): Two pancakes topped with ube sauce and garnished with shaved almonds, toasted coconut, and powdered sugar. The pancakes themselves were a bit chewy rather than fluffy, but the ube sauce was absolutely phenomenal and made the dish enjoyable overall. Lola's is located in the same plaza as Haven City Food Hall and GW Supermarket, with a shared parking lot for several businesses. Parking can get pretty crowded during peak hours and some spaces are on the tighter side.
