The cutest little hidden spot in Hacienda Heights. They have the cutest teddy bear boba ever and so yummy Also the service was phenomenal. Amazing customer service and recommendations from the staff. A beautiful little spot. Will definitely be back soon

This little hidden cafe specializes in matcha. All matcha lovers should definitely try this place. They also have a good food menu that includes breakfast and lunch. The Belgian banana Nutella waffles were so good. Great friendly service. Would definitely come back.

This cafe was not only adorable but the staff were so sweet and welcoming. The ambiance felt so fresh but like home. I love all the plants there and the decor. Plus seeing so many patrons using the cafe as a work space was great as it's a third space. We weren't able to stay long but the cafe's infamous Boba Bear Set was well worth the drive. Looking forward to visiting again!

This was a cute spot for a lunch date. We got seated rather quickly for 2 people in the late afternoon, probably 1:30 pm? The interior decor was cute and cozy. large group sizes might not be as comfy inside, I think the largest comfortably could be 6. They have outdoor seating which is nice and could potentially fit a group of 6 there, too. Waiter was friendly and helpful and accommodated our needs when they came up. Onto the food~ We ordered the wagyu with fries, the berry waffle plate and the grilled chicken salad to share between the two of us. The portions were decent--it was enough for the two of us who were on empty stomachs. The meat is cooked to your preference for the wagyu as well as the egg. it was seasoned nicely and came with the chimchurri sauce. It was a little chewy but still tasted good. The grilled chicken salad was good, portion was rather small to share between two people but it still worked out. I liked the flavoring but I feel like the meat cuts could've been bigger. The berry waffle plate was a nice dish to share. It came with ice cream and egg custard. Great closing to our meal. For drinks--I ordered a cappuccino which was average. They provide you a liter of water for you to refill, which is nice! Parking is pretty easy. This place is inside the plaza and was fairly easy to find, too. Overall I think the food is decent, price wasn't too bad but the portions were quite small. I'd like to come back to try other things, too.

I have only tried the drinks here. The interior is really cute. There are not a wide variety of options that I can have here being a diabetic but I came back ti get my friend a hot rose latte and a lavender latte. Service was great and very beautiful presentation with the hot coffee.

Hide Out Café is a cozy Asian-fusion spot known for its chill vibes, friendly service, and surprisingly creative drinks and dishes. In my visit, I treated myself to the café's adorable Boba Bear Set. A frozen milk tea bear served with a house-made cookie, plus an Osmanthus latte this latte was heart warming and delicious. For food I started with their fresh avocado dip and homemade tortilla chips, then enjoyed a basil-sautéed chicken with rice and salad for my main. To top it all off: churro and ice cream for dessert. Which had a house made whipped cream! If you're into cute drinks and comforting, tasty eats, this place offers a little escape from the everyday. Can't wait to go back for seconds and thirds! Tips: Lots of parking if you pull all the way around to the back lot where there is a parking structure!

Came here for brunch, and ordered the BBQ pork plate. It usually comes with rice and salad, but I opted for an extra rice scoop instead. The pork was good - seasoned well and they used pork belly so it was flavorful. The sunny side up egg was a nice touch. The person I came with ordered the popcorn chicken which they thought was okay. Overall, the food here is pretty good, but it tasted very one-note. The service was good, and the restaurant had both inside and outside seating. It is possible that we just didn't order the right dishes, but nothing that we ordered really stood out to me.

Hide Out Cafe is super cute and has the sweetest customer service -- everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the second we walked in! We ordered the Chimi Wagyu & Frites, and it was delicious -- tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the crispy fries. The Deep Fried Platter was a fun mix of popcorn chicken, onion rings, tenders, and mozzarella sticks -- great for sharing and super satisfying. For dessert, the Banana Nutella Waffle was a winner. Warm, fluffy, and topped just right. We also tried their Boba Bear set and Gummy Bear, which added such a cute, playful touch to the whole experience. Overall, it's the kind of spot that makes you want to come back with friends. Cozy vibe, yummy food, and genuinely kind staff -- what more can you ask for?

This place has the sweetest strawberry lemonade in town and the sweetest, kindest staff in the area, too! They offer a digital menu, and you may have to wait if you need a table inside/outside; the staff will show you to a table. The place is kept neat, clean, and very well decorated. The drink came out quickly and tasted even better thanks to their fantastic customer service. We came on a Saturday evening, and the place was busy, yet the staff still managed to give attention to customers who were walking in.

It's a cute spot with friendly service. I really came here for the milk tea set. The parking lot is a little confusing, the restaurant is in the middle of the shopping center.

Delicious coffee.

Back here a second time trying some new dishes. Happy with both and recommend them to new folks checking this place out. Service was friendly and welcoming and the ambiance of the place was nice. Highly recommend

Wow! It's been awhile since I've been here but decided to stop by for lunch. I ordered the Avocado Toast with Jasmine Milk Tea with Oat Milk. The toast was soft which I actually LOVED, but what stood out the most was the sauce that the salad came with! Such a clean and cute spot and service was great! Will be back!

Tiramisu Milk Tea
Anthony R.

This brunch spot was very solid - the hashtag fries and popcorn chicken were delicious though the minced pork noodle dish lacked a bit of flavor. The tiramisu milk tea was amazing! Only thing I have to say is not sure if most people were out or there aren't mah servers but there was only one person handling all the orders and making drinks and I felt very bad. 10 out of 10 stars for his service and he was very appreciative for our patience.

(Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Danzzan (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 11AM - Opening Time). Parking is easy. There's a customer parking lot in the rear. Customers primarily order on the self-service kiosk. Staff is quiet and polite. Staff appeared fatigued and going "with the motions," but Staff worked diligently. My drink took two minutes and 34 seconds. Good time. As mentioned I ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte ($7.95). YUM! It's silky, chill matcha! I especially love when the earthy matcha is properly balanced with something sweet. The taste of vanilla and banana is much welcomed. It all tasted very fresh, and it was common hearing the other ordering customers whisper aloud... "This is good." On ambiance, Danzzan (Rowland Heights) is charming. There's cute knickknacks and comfortable seating. However, I recommend a more thorough sweeping once in a while. For example, I had to crush a small bug crawling under my table while I was waiting. The corners feel slight neglected, but the place does feel relatively clean. Danzzan (Rowland Heights) also has good utility. There's about five electrical outlets. And there's customer internet with password; password details are on the table w/ straws and utensils. There's also a gender neutral restroom for customers (not the public). I also appreciated the upbeat music. All in all, it's a solid study/work space. Overall, I had a good experience at Danzzan (Rowland Heights). The matcha is lovely, and the spot has hidden potential. It's also still very popular with the locals. If searching for a tasty matcha latte option, I happily recommend. 4.8 out of 5

The nuttiness of the hojicha works better with the black sesame cream, which wasn't very thick. The black sesame matcha was more black sesame-y than matcha, but still both were a good sweet treat. For only 25 cents more, you can get no ice and they do fill it up still, so that's very worth the upcharge. Service was fine, but nothing outstanding.

Unfortunately, the coffee shop itself was a letdown. When I first saw the menu, I already had a bad feeling, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I ordered a matcha, and it was absolutely terrible. It didn't look like matcha, didn't taste like matcha, and I genuinely don't understand why they sell it at all. If you're going to offer matcha, at least make it resemble what it's supposed to be. We bought three drinks total, and not a single one was finished. That alone says a lot. The prices weren't outrageous, but even then, the drinks just weren't worth it. It's disappointing because the plaza has potential--the bakery and photo place nearby are solid--but this coffee shop seriously brings it down. I'd much rather see a better coffee or matcha spot take its place.

They currently have a special for a 0.99 cent drink if you download their app and order online, along with 4 additional coupons for 30% off (which I should've checked before I added a second drink to my order at regular price). There were so many options to choose from and they all looked so good! They have fruit teas and frappes too! I decided on the Coco Cotti (recommended by the employee) and the Cloud Mousse Blue Coco Latte (both hot). The Blue Coco Latte was delicious and tasty, I really liked the mousse foam on top. The employee said the blue color of the latte comes from the sugar they use. Unfortunately the Coco Cotti was disappointing. All I could taste was a faint hint of the coconut milk, barely any coffee flavor. I already suspected that the drink would be milked down when I opened the lid and saw how pale the drink was. I went home and pulled a shot of espresso and added it to my cup and luckily that improved the drink. The next time I stop by I'll be trying the Toffee Hazelnut series - that looks good!

I have been a frequent Cafe FC customer over the last few months, and I can undoubtedly say that this business is very consistent with its product delivery and quality when it comes to coffee drinks. I often come here to catch FC Barcelona games while drinking their signature coffee drink (Cafe Signature on the menu). Other drinks I've tried include their famous Oaxacan Mocha and cortados. I highly recommend the Oaxacan Mocha, I spoke with the business owner, and he mentioned they make all the Oaxacan mocha in-house. Their Cafe FC Signature drink comes with raw milk; however, you can ask for alternative milk if that's not your thing. I've tried both options and was very happy with each.
