"There's a sucker born every minute" - David Hannum I'm willing to give fast food fish & chips a try. H. Salt & Long John Silver did a better than decent job. Against my better judgment I tried Wienerschnitzel's very poor excuse of their fish and chips. I know, my bad for even trying it, but at least this way I get to share, or better warn, you all. The "fish" was smelly and greasy. Long sticks that were oh so forgettable. Fish = 0/5 Fries = 2/5 (typical wilted Wienerschnitzel fries. I usually don't do any reviews, but today, I came into a little from a miserable first half of the day. Fernando took my order and I have to say his mood changed my mood. He was courteous and had a happiness that I couldn't help but smile. Don't get any ideas. I'm a straight guy. But the food was great. The ambience was great. Went again today . Food was awesome. Fries were hot not limpy and cold. The Chili Dogs were awesome . They put just the right amount of chili on the dog like you supposed. Worth me driving from West Covina to Diamond Bar, Sunset Crossing rather then get Chili Dogs at the Wienerschnitzel in La Puente where the Chili in the dog is less than a half a teaspoon. . Came here to order a #5 as I had a hankering for some corn dogs and a chili dog. Lo and behold, when I got home, they forgot the corn dogs. Bro how do you forgot the corn dogs? Let me reiterate, how do you forget 33% of the order? There was no one when I pulled in, there was no one while I was waiting for my order and there was no one when I left. You weren't in a rush or anything. This goes beyond being simply negligence due to the frequency of items being forgotten in past orders down to borderline malicious. You forget a few items here and there over a hundred customer throughout the day and that's quite a bit of money saved on your part. Whatever, never coming back here again. I'd give this review a 0/5 if I could. read more

Who ever you guys had working here on 10/18/25 at 9:22pm who was a man in about his late 30's to 40 year old with glasses was a complete weirdo. He didn't bother saying hi when I politely said hi to him and he PURPOSELY makes to reach for your debit card and food when he puts it at the window. He even looked like he was about to hand me my food and when I reached for it he purposely withdrew it back towards him so I had to reach for it. He knows what he's doing.... And he didn't even bother saying anything but had a smug look on his face when I got my food from him. read more

Gotta love the dogs and chili at Weinerschnitzel. This place is an American classic that reminds me of simpler times and just enjoying a simple fast food meal. This location, has been renovated fairly recently, and I'm pretty sure that they filmed a commercial here no more than a couple years ago here. The staff were super nice and the inside dining area was very clean and updated. The only negative takeaway was that the app does not sell you food in combos, and today, I didn't find any online deals. There are always in-store deals, and the Tastee Freeze products are always a good treat for the fam. read more

The food is always hot and good. Can't go wrong with a chili hot dog & chili fries. This is a shout-out to Joseph who was working Fri 7/12. He was tall and had such a great attitude with a smile on his face. He hustled and got our order to us quickly. I remember this place as a kid it was Dër Wienerschnitzel back then, a lot has changed since then including the menu .So many new items. These kids that work fast food are really hard workers this place is no exception.The service is courteous and fast.We stopped by for dinner .They have promotions going on all the time ,great deals. For just a few dollars you can get a lot of food. They also have a Tastee freeze here. Don't forget the ice cream. This establishment is in Diamond Bar it's been here a long time. I've tried everything on the old menu, but new menu so many items. What I have ordered I'd like. Chili cheesedog with onions, fries, chili fries, cheeseburgers, Polish dogs, my brothers, favorite mustard dogs, for you vegetarian, they even have a veggie dog. The structure is pretty good size a lot of seating, even have outdoor seating to enjoy your meal. There is plenty of parking with handicap stall's right at the entrance. SERVICE & AMBIANCE Both the customer service and the cleanliness of the restaurant tend to be hit or miss depending on the time of day you visit. I feel like it must be the same in many Five Guys restaurants. Most of the time, I get takeout so it doesn't really bother me, but I can see why it would put someone off.

I love weinerschnitzel especially the desserts but this specific place takes wayyy to long. Last time I was here I ordered ice cream and they had me waiting 5 minutes at the table. All you have to do is pipe the cone and dip it. The ice cream machine and dip is right next to my face and they didn't get started till later even though there was not a shortage of staff and there was only 1 person in the drive through who only ordered a small bag worth of food. The girl literally went to the side and stretched before giving me my ice cream. If you're gonna work at fast food and take a break not during your break, at least greet me and put a smile on when people walk in. read more

Wienerschnitzel was my childhoodd so I always love coming back here. When I was younger I would always beg my mom to take me and my sisters here after work and I would always get the chili cheese fries and a corndog.
