When then did their fancy scan a month ago, at checkout the young lady who insisted I pay $3k up front told me nex time there would be no charge. Today when I checked out, there was a different person who said I owed $250. I questioned that stating I was told previously no charge. In a nasty attitude she told me I had signed a treatment statement for stated amount. In other words they LIED previously. There's a new practice not too far away. Time to look for a new dentist. Unfortunately I like my dentist, hygienist and the other people, but the bitch at checkout and their high prices leave no other option.

For the last several years, my initial appointment was only x-rays and I would have to make a different appointment for my cleaning. Imagine going to get your nails done but they only looked at them and sent you home with a later date for your manicure.

I used to be a patient of Dr. Hampton but ever since he went part time, and sold the office, this place has gone straight into the gutter. I went in for a routine cleaning and was charge over 400. I have 2 dental insurances and they messed up on the billing. I went in to the office to figure out what was going on, and spoke to the office manager, but have yet to receive a response. However, today I get another bill for 39 for a supposed no-show fee, in which my husband physically walked in to the office to cancel the appointment. We made a detour just to stop and cancel it so we knew it would be cancelled, or so we thought. I don't know where or how things can get so messed up with the billing when you go and talk to someone in person... this is ridiculous. I would highly, highly not recommend coming to this place unless you don't mind driving 30 minutes out of your way to talk to people who don't seem to listen.

I received a teeth cleaning and wanted to find out why I was having some tooth pain. Through X-rays and examination, Dr. Alex said I had a couple of cavities and I would need a crown. I was afraid I would need a root canal, but Dr. Alex assured me that if I didn't need one, he would recommend that I have one. They filled my cavities, setup my temporary crown, and I came back a couple of weeks later for the permanent crown. They were able to numb me sufficiently for three cavity fillings and the crown. I tend to be hard to numb. Dr. Alex kept to his word and I didn't need a root canal. Two days before my dental cleaning, my mother had passed away. The office manager, Melissa, knew about it and brought me a small boutique of flowers at my teeth cleaning appointment. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture that I greatly appreciated. Customer service oriented and excellent dental care.

I found out a couple months ago; my dentist sold his practice. Anxious to get a crown placed on my now year-old dental implant, I called Dr. Alex's office on 06/10/2026 and was told the doctor would look at it in the morning, and they would call me back. No return call. I just called back today, 06/15/26, and spoke to Dr. Alex's wife. She explained he was either out of the office last Thursday or didn't have time, and he doesn't work on Friday. She stated he wasn't comfortable with placing my crown on my now signed off implant. Also said Dr. Brett Gray, {Oral Surgery associates}. Dr. Gray holds 3 medical degrees and has been my doctor for over 20 years. Board certified Oral Surgeon. Maxo facial degree, and a medical degree. Emory University trained. Dr. Alex's wife stated he isn't educated in crowns. I argued. " I had 2 follow up visits to evaluate my implant at my oral surgeon. Received the green light for completion. Evidently Dr. Alex's wife knows better. By the way I was told that Dr. Alex hadn't even looked at my situation and was told to go to my current dentist that sold his practice, and is in his 70's, to place the crown. Basically, refused to see me. Very disappointed.

I was able to get an appointment very quickly as well. I will be returning in a few days for my cleaning and treatments. I researched and really liked the "feel" of Atlanta Dental Spa. Their "No Judgement" attitude is what I liked the most. I walked in the front door (BIG step) and Tiara took such great care of me. She is so sweet!! After x-rays and scans, I met with Dr. Gandhi who was very understanding of my fear. He was gentle and explained everything that needed to be done and what those options were. It was scary looking at all that was needed, but they offer sedation dentistry and that's what I did. After a good couple of hours of being "consciously knocked out", Dr. Gandhi, Whitney and Britney got the work done! I left being able to smile showing my teeth for the first time in years! But more so, correcting the things that could affect the rest of my health. After I got home I did NOT have ANY pain which is saying a lot as I had a ton of work done. They said that days 3-4 might be the worst for pain, but there was NONE. And that's taking nothing but ibuprofen. The advancement of dentistry is amazing. More than that, finding a dental office that treats you like family, sees you at your scheduled time, offers you neck warmers, blankets, headphones with your choice of music...but most of all truly cares about your patient experience.
