Even if deep cleaning comes with a little pain it's a pleasure to be serviced by this team! Dr. Shaikh is very great, communicative and explains every process thoroughly! I usually set appointments first thing in the morning, so there hasn't been any complaints of waiting on my side. Even so, they're happy to offer some coffee/tea in their wonderful waiting area. So far I've had 3 appointments with them, one in the afternoon weekday for a very first appt/check up. No wait. 2nd time was to get my right side of my mouth a deep cleaning, before work and I was in and out on time. My last time was a few days ago to finish up the left side deep cleaning on a Saturday at 9a, and I was in and out as well. Their staff is wonderful too! From the assistants to the reception. Takes approx 1 hour. Before Northside I went to dentology west loop where they "found" 2 cavities on my first visit then told me I needed a root canal. After 18 mo of being a Northside patient, they've diagnosed 0 cavities and confirmed the "root canal worthy pain" was from poor tooth shaping from a cavity fill at dentology. I get regular X-rays with Northside Shout out to my hygienist Pam who is always kind, easy to talk to, lets me know what's going on, and makes the whole experience pleasant.

My kids in the past have had very bad experiences with Dentists but I have to tell you my kids absolutely loved her. She is very good and gentle with children and my three year old said "mamma I like the dentist". They all received a toy from the treasure box at the end of the visit, so cute because they where so excited. The office is very clean and very up to date. As new patient, they did Xray first, then Doctor check, then cleaning. The Xray technician was horrible. It took him a total of 25 mins to just to get everything correct. Never had someone took that long to get all the xray necessary. HYGINIEST. I've been going to dentist religiously for quite some time now and I have never, ever had a horrible hyginiest experience ever until I got here. Even working as solo, a lot of hygienist are able to properly do their job and not make a mess on patient's face. 1. Why does hyginiest gotta ask me if im okay every 20s? Dr. Dalia is the first "outside the industry bubble" for me, but I was super impressed by this place! The actual place is super comfortable and relaxing. Nice music and what they have on the TV is a little odd, but I was able to change the channel. They put on those home flipper shows which makes me think that this place is mostly Sauganash Moms lol. They have Hulu and Netflix so...cool! As you probably can already tell, I am used to a real "old school" dentist so I was very impressed by all the doodads and technology they had which greatly improved my comfort and made a much better memory of a dentist office. I was in for a DEEP cleaning which was done with a load of novacane. While she really numbed me down alot, her assessment for how long it was going to last was accurate. She was also a bit faster than I expected, but her work got my "mom's seal of approval lol" (she wanted to see). I will admit that it has been awhile since I have been in for a cleaning so I have some work cut out for me. Still, Dr. Dalia explained it to me like I was an adult and didn't try to dumb it down. She was able to use technology like my mouth was a football field and she was drawing up plays. I kind of liked that. One overlooked part was the cost and insurance. While it was still "expensive", the prices did match up with what my insurance estimated it would be. I know one of the biggest problems with dentists are insurance. This office seems to have it down and provides quite a bit of transparency of how much it costs. Since my parents paid for my dental work growing up, I have never seen a bill for something quali major. At "worst" the prices here are fair which for a medical/dental practice, is still pretty positive. We will see how my next appointments go, but Dr. Dalia was awesome and I am glad I finally stopped by to get my teeth worked on.

The cleaning I received was thorough and my teeth never looked so clean. She mentioned one of my teeth had a split going across it where a filling was and recommended I get a cap before it brakes and causes more trouble and pain. The procedure was quick and easy and I'm so glad I did. The color matches and I'm so happy with the results. She also bonded my front tooth which cracked which I've been living with for a while. It's made such a difference in my smile. Highly recommend Dr. Delia you won't be disappointed
