I've been getting Invisalign treatment here for the past 8 weeks or so. So far, everything is going pretty well -- Dentiq is competitively priced, has very helpful and courteous staff, and deals with all of the insurance company billing for you. It's also pretty swanky inside and the furnishings, lighting, and decoration is very cool. When I first started going there, they were offering drinks when you checked in, but I think they've stopped doing that... which is probably for the best, 'cause that's a little odd. Anyway, the reason they are minus two stars is because they are not great at telling you in advance what your treatment plan will be. Maybe this is my fault for not asking all the right questions, but I wasn't told I would be getting attachments (little nubbins they glue to the front of your teeth that make Invisalign... uh, not so invisible) until they were basically mid-gluing. I had the same experience with a process where they shave off parts of your teeth. Again, I had no idea I would need this for my treatment until they just started doing it. Finally, the whole joint is run by dental technicians. I get that Invisalign takes a lot of the skill out of orthodontia, but I would still expect to see an orthodontist/dentist every once in a while... like maybe when getting Invisalign for the first time? Or every 6 weeks to check things are moving appropriately and there's no tooth decay? Something? Bueller? Literally the only time I have seen an orthodontist was during the aforementioned tooth shaving debacle, and he whisked in without introducing himself, shaved away, and then peaced out. read more

I've been going to Dentiq for almost 10 years and although I have never liked the fact that I saw a different dentist on every visit, I liked the office, the staff and especially Tiffany, the hygienist. Two years ago I had two front crowns replaced. When it was time to pay, it was $600 more than what I had been quoted. When I complained, they said they would give me $600 off additional work. After only two years, one of the crowns cracked. Dentiq first offered me a 30% discount to replace the crown and when I declined, they offered a 50% discount. There was never any mention of the $600 that I felt they owed me. Also, I did some checking and most dental offices warranty crowns for 5 years. Dentiq refused to replace the crown at their cost and said they only warranty crowns for ONE YEAR! I will never go back. Very disappointing. read more

I have been going there since 2014 still have not gotten my implants enclosed This was going on before covid-19 The guy left that was supposed to make my teeth that made my friend's teeth referred me. Another guy came on he made three sets of teeth that were horrible I'm still stuck with a bottom implant set that is awful You can't even see my bottom teeth then they made me after they fired the guy sign a release under duress in tears and gave me plastic uppers I paid these people over $50,000... I'm not sure if the bottom are plastic yet. I'm about to have to go spend upwards of $40,000 to get all of this replaced one of my implants is crooked in my CT scan I am unbelievably upset at how wrong I was treated by one of their managers which they eventually fired who was gaslighting me and telling me there was nothing wrong Right now my upper teeth are domed they shine whenever a flash lights on them so I cannot have pictures taken This has been going on 3 years now with these teeth maybe 4 I have CPTSD and don't go to these people ever. I don't even want to show pictures of my teeth it's horrible!!! They're non-functioning I cannot eat without chewing on one side of my mouth I have scars all over the side of my cheek. My jaw goes inwards because they did not set my bike right I do not have a bite at all. I get food stuck in the holes where they were supposed to fill in and never did My bottom teeth have not been cleaned in 4 years and the last time I went there I begged them to clean it and they said no that they would do it another time then covid-19 happened. I told them about the bottom left side being very sensitive and painful they told me I would get used to it.I have not gotten used to it. I went to visit Napa California to see my daughter who had been out of the country for 10 years and I was in so much pain because they screwed my top implant in wrong and pinched my gum can you imagine looking at a beautiful ocean in Monterey California in the worst pain of your life having to call your dentist in tears and there's nothing he can do All I could do was add CBD until I got back home 10 days later to get the pain relieved they could have fixed it I went there before I left. After they take your money they don't care about you anymore I've never received a phone call not once.... Best Surgeon in Houston!!! Stop looking this is the place to get an implant. They were prepared for everything. Clinic is spotless! Staff is incredibly compassionate. The assistant put her hand on my shoulder and kept telling me it's ok. She calmed me down. I started crying and they had so much patience with me. I was just really scared. I was so nervous thinking about having my jaw bone drilled. Got half anesthesia, woke up after they were done and could not breathe. Dr Sista stayed with me in the room until I felt better!!! After the surgery I had a slight headache and after taking two ibuprofen I did not have pain again. Day 2 no pain, no swelling, I was literally walking my dogs in the park felt like I could go for a run! ( to the staff, I promise I did not go running). Today is Sunday, zero pain I have zero swelling, feeling amazing. Never been out of surgery with two ibuprofen and that's it. Dr Sista was amazing. I am switching my entire dental care to them! Wow!!!! Everyone was just absolutely wonderful. I do not remember the name of the dental hygienists who cleaned my teeth before the surgery but she gave me the best teeth cleaning I ever had. Two shades whiter just from cleaning. *I can't feel the implant at all!!!! It's like nothing is in my bone!!!!! It's awesome. Stop reading other reviews!!! This is the right place! I had dental work done at this location about 8 years ago. I also had my teeth whitened at that time. I was amazed at the outcome. I decided to go back to this location for another round of whitening. The day I left I was happy with the results. However this go round my brite white smile quickly faded and it looks like I've never had them whitened. I have never smoked and I do not drink wine or coffee so I'm not sure what happened. Staff and hygienist are great and attentive to details. They show genuine care for your dental health. Kourtney has been my hygienist every since I have joined the state of the art technological dentist office. She is very knowledgeable, caring, and above all a sweet hygienist that provides very thorough cleanings and it is because of her that I refer all my friends to this office. The doctors provide great care when they see you. My only complaint is that they do not come by after cleanings to do a normal check on the patient and ask about any concerns or to find anything that may have been missed. I did my homework before coming here including reading reviews from all sites but I must say it was the best decision I ever made. The staff, facility and Dr. Johnson are the absolute best at what they do. They seem to genuinly care about the patient and go out of their way to help. I did a complete restoration and my biggest concern was time and NO DELAYS because they are very busy. We worked out a schedule and we finished with the best scenario possible (healing came first and dictated the scenarios). It really surprises me on Scot S. post because they are very picky there and want everything to be perfect and Dr. Johnson catches the smallest things that one might not even consider. Something just doesnt seem right but you never know. BTW Dr.Johnson is not your normal dentist....she doesnt talk to you like you are an idiot, she works with you, she listens and takes action..... Are they expensive? Hell yes, but I have learned over my life that you get what you pay for and couldnt be happier. Besides these are your teeth and finding the cheapest doesnt make sense...have to find the best. Quick note, they did work with me on financial options that did decrease the total cost. I love this place! The atmosphere is very inviting! It doesn't hurt that I always meet someone interesting in the waiting room- once it was an older guy with red nails... & designs on each nail! They give reminder calls & emails that can easily be synced to your iPhone calendar! My dentist is young, caring, professional, & cute (he's married though ladies... So pipe it down)... His name is Dr. Chew (that's the phonetic spelling; Pun intended) when I began my Invisalign treatment it was the cheapest place in Houston & I believe they still are. I have been to dentists in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Francisco, but Dentiq is hands down the best. The atmosphere is relaxing, the people are fun and eager to help, the costs are transparent and more than competitive, doctor Sista is AWESOME, and the wait time is nothing (I have never had more than a 5 minute wait over the 15 times in the last 3 years that I have been there.) I am in my 30's and have been to 3 orthodontists and half a dozen dentist in the past 15 years to look at options for fixing my teeth. Each doctor's option involved surgery, wiring my mouth shut, and cost between $15,000 and $25,000. Dr Sista is the ONLY doctor that took an overall look at what I wanted and gave me a solution... which cost less than 10% of the next best option. I am 6 weeks from finishing my treatment and would have gladdly paid 10 times as much for the results I have so far. The experience is great. I tell everyone I work with, this is the only dentist that makes you excited to go back for your cleanings. I am amazed by the 2 bad reviews. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and please, please get a second opinion from another dentist if you go here. I was told I had gum disease, needed expensive treatments! How strange since 6 months ago I was told I have perfect teeth! Buyer beware of Dentiq. You pay in full and sing your life that you pay everything before you leave and get a bill 5 months later. That is what happened to me. I went to Dentiq because of the reviews. I knew they were higher priced but I needed an implant immediately. They got me in a few days. I have dental insurance but it only covered about 5% of the bill. The gave me the bill before anything was done and I wrote them a check for about 2500 total. Well 4-5 months later i get a bll saying i owed another 157.00 for something the insurance company did not pick up. This is by now way my fault and they need to bill the insurance company again. They also sent me to the credit buraeus. When i called to talk about it, i left 3 messages for Letty and never got a call in return. Bad business. I still need my permanent tooth and I will not be going back to Dentiq. The place is lavish and now i know why.. 11/25/13 Update I had a call by the manager of Dentiq. He was very courteous and helpful in all regards and remedied my situation. He asked for me to go back to get my final tooth put in. I will take them up on it. New Patient: I met Dr. Williams months ago and he told me about the practice. Finally made it in today, the atmosphere is very spa like and relaxing. The staff seems like family and very friendly. I had to do all the new patient stuff which takes some time. Dr. Williams is very thorough. Took his time explaining my scans and x-rays. They have television if you want to watch a movie while getting your teeth cleaned. The patient accounts rep was also very good about explaining benefits and cost. Had first appointment for my husband and I. Pictures with a photo camera were taken of our teeth and faces that took 30 minutes; very extensive. Then the X-rays as expected. Total time was an hour before being told that our teeth would not be cleaned because it was the hygienists day off. We would have to make another appointment. We were not told this in advance. We were then both presented with treatment plans. Mine was for $800 and my husband's was for $2000. We regularly went to another dentist and had just been 6 months prior. It's been many years since any dentist found any need to do any work at all but routine check ups and cleanings so we were immediately skeptical. We will not be returning. read more

I really love this place the service is amazing and the level of care is professional and compassionate. All the staff do their best to make you feel welcome and relaxed. I am a nervous patient and have had been scared to visit the dentist as it always meant pain, bright white rooms and that hospital smell. The anxiety levels always went through the roof. At Dentiq this changed, I look forward to my visits to the dentists now :) I had decided to get Invisalign after much reading and researched the dentists in my area with the requirement that they were a short drive from my office and home and easy to park at as I was very new at the city. I'd picked Dentiq, as there deal was good and there didn't appear to be any major complaints. The waiting room is a awesome, it has a mix of comfortable couches and chairs and interesting/new reading material. Plus you get a drink on arrival if you wish I usually get water however I have taken up the offer of a mimosa once as I need a little relaxation before getting my attachments put on. The examination rooms are fabulous. There are prints in some rooms and in the room where I had my first appointment for the Invisalign there was a TV screen rotating pictures of famous art work with some soft music playing. I really love that, it gives me something interesting to look at and chill out. The lights are dimmed in the room except for the examination light and they always make sure to give you sunglasses. Every technician and dentist I had had the pleasure of being treated by always makes sure I am comfortable and takes the time for a little small talk. For each treatment and procedure I have had it has always been explained to me what they are doing, why and whether I am happy with the treatment plan. I've had both attachments and interproximal reductions which I expected as I had been fully informed about what a potential treatment plan would be like. I was lucky and didn't have any attachments on my front teeth and people only occasionally notice the ones on my canines. I've been incredibly happy with my treatment, I had a cross-bite and some crooked/twisted teeth, halfway through most of this disappeared and my teeth already look great. I really can't wait to see the finished result. Also every staff member makes sure I look presentable when I walk out the door, e.g. that I don't have some blood on my teeth bits of toothpaste on my face. I've been to beauticians who did bother to tell me that my eyebrow was bleeding after they'd worked on it. My only complaint is that the billing seems to be a bit haphazard. Every issue I've ever had with my bill has been resolved however I wish I didn't have to point out mistakes in the first place and check bills carefully. It's a higher end dentristy office so a little on the pricey side; however, the level of professionalism is unprecedented. I went in for a consultation for an implant, and Dr. Sista and Dr. Chui explained all of the various options in a straightforward and detailed manner. I went to Dentiq for all-on-four dental implants. Dr. Sista removed all my teeth, put in the implants, and I walked out with a set of beautiful teeth. My surgery was met with difficulty because of the quality of the bone in my jaw. It took twice as long as expected, and Dr. Sista was forced to become creative with the placement of my implants, and to do several bone grafts. His entire staff had to stay late - after dark - and they were really wonderful about it. I'm still in the process of designing my permanent forever smile, and I find the staff to be helpful, empathetic, and understanding. I felt none of the shame that sometimes goes with a visit to a dentist when you have failing teeth. I felt they were on my side. The office staff is amazing, and the medical staff is amazing. I posted a review previously regarding my experience with Dentiq but for some reason Yelp removed it. This concerns me because I would think removal of reviews (unless they are profane or in some other way violating standards) would alter the statistics and/or distort the results of the customer reviews. This would mean Yelp as a review site could be argued as being somewhat worthless. Be that as it may, I will review Dentiq anyway. Again. As I mentioned previously, I thought the experience at Dentiq was first class. I waited less than five minutes for my prior visit and my most recent cleaning visit. It's a classy office and the entire staff, from the receptionist, to the dental assistant and hygienist, to my dentist Dr. Chiu were very professional, courteous, and informative. They use state-of- the art technology and went over what was needed and the cost. I have to get several implants (which are obviously more invasive) but I feel confident and quite happy with letting Dentiq do the work. I make my living in the medical field so I am well aware that no matter how hard one tries, you can't please everyone. Some people will never be happy. I am also critical about the care I receive as well. I like Dentiq and don't hesitate in giving them this great review. read more

I came here for an initial consultation when I was having TMJ issues. I was in a lot of pain and stress, and everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. In the end, after the exams and consultation, I did not end up going back to continue the treatment plan because it was just too expensive for me at the time. They were very understanding and didn't express any annoyance at the amount of time they had spent with me; they were very willing to work on payment plans, etc., but it was just not something I could do at the time. The treatment they offered looked like it was truly worth the cost given all they would be doing and how advanced their procedures and technology were. Even just the basic x-rays were more comfortable and less invasive than any dentist I've been at. I would absolutely go back when I had the money to spend on the treatment, and would certainly use them for regular dental services. read more

I love this place. Have gone here for years, then stopped when I became self employed and switched insurance providers. I went to another dentist on my new insurance and they tried to "upsell" some unnecessary work that was out of pocket for me. I sent my x-rays from them back to Dentiq for a second opinion. Yeah, that other place (Lovett Dental) are scammers. I didn't need half of what they were trying to sell me. I can't agree with other great reviews. Perhaps for general dentistry?! I found Dentiq doesn't deliver what's promised or to a quality inferred through their glittering office or articles in local Houston magazines. Yes the office is incredibly cool, and makes you 'feel' it's a very professional place, but my experience found that's where it ends. I needed 4 replacement crowns in my upper smile line - they installed new crowns that were at least 6 shades lighter than my natural front teeth! Their solution? "Let us ALSO crown your front teeth too and we'll match them perfectly with the crowns we just installed" ?! Why would I want my front teeth crowned if they didn't need it? They did agree their crowns looked bad and said they would try again, at their expense.... the result after a second round of temps and delays/loads more appointments? 2nd set looked exactly the same as the 1st set, except one now sticks out past my front tooth!! The solution this time? "whiten whiten and whiten more the natural front/back teeth to try to get them up to the colour of the new crowns, and put up with the slightly crooked one!!" I had expressly said I didn't want to whiten as my teeth are pretty light anyway, but I had to as a result of the botched 2nd set ... result? My natural teeth are a very different 'white' to the crowns and still don't match the 'whiter than white' of the crowns. Despite the Dentiq techs agreeing it looks odd/uneven, Dr. Johnson refused to do any other work unless I pay for it.. I questioned why should I pay for something AGAIN when it wasn't done properly not just once, but twice, and what guarantee is there on a 3rd attempt?!?! There was no guarantee given. It was "do it this way or go away". I opted for the latter! I will NEVER go here again and am seeking service from another dentist to REPLACE the terrible crowns installed by Dentiq (cooincidentally an ex dentiq dentist who didn't agree with how they treated their customers!) I am upset that I ended up with a smile that is much worse than when I went in, with completely fake looking white teeth in each side of my front teeth - NOT nice let me tell you. Suggest if you're getting any work done, and BEFORE treatment, ask them for a WRITTEN guarantee they'll undertake to replace/fix/resolve any issue or dissatisfaction until you're happy with the end result (they promised me the same thing, 100% satisfaction, but then argued they'd done all they could do after 2nd attempt and didn't honour their promises to deliver a quality product, that "trust us, will be better than before"). Other issues are: 1. They keep you waiting, sometimes for 1 hour past your appointment time before taking you back. I had 3 appointments scheduled for an hour, but still there 8 HOURS LATER! Even then, was sent home without having completed all work scheduled. 2. Comms: Dental techs ask your concerns/wants etc, which they supposedly relay directly to Dr J, but who doesn't discuss with u herself when she arrives, leading to miscomms&misunderstandings as a restult of bad relay of info. 3. When work does start on your mouth, common for Dr J to LEAVE midway to attend other patients! Leaving you sitting for extended periods of time before returning to resume work on your mouth. This happened a lot, with no apparent regard for my time, other commitments, & appointment times running way over expectations. They overbook beyond capacity, knowing they don't have enough staff/dentists to cope-that wont change! 3. My labwork was done in California (not onsite as advertised), and when it did arrive, there were 2 instances where Dr J unhappy with it (post install) so removed and sent back! (= more wasted time on my part. Why not check before I arrived?!). it They call themselves the smile experts, but my smile is just awful now, worse than it was when I went in.
