This is the absolute most unprofessional dentist office. They allow parents to sit in their car to wait for their child. When my son's service was completed the tech Randa fat ass decided she was going to yell across the parking lot to inform me about my child's treatment. Rude and lazy!! I walk in the office to confirm the procedure when parents are waiting outside. The office manager Alana Wilson was just as unprofessional as her tech and lacks problem solving skills. I booked my kids visits confirming coverage, gave all my information. Long conversation on the phone but I know it's necessary when you're new and so on. I Get in 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. They say no coverage. I said, yes coverage. Took over 20 minutes to get that handled. The front desk assistant had the audacity to say "You may have late fees, we have a 15 minute grace period". Umm, nope. I am not paying those fees thank you very much. It's not my fault you didn't know where to look for my coverage. We are taken in the back and wait again as we watch other patients be worked on. Weird, why not call us back when you're ready. Assistant calls my daughter and just walks by saying her name. Does not pause, look at me or my daughter to introduce herself. She then had to come back and speak to me about fluoride and x-rays which I had already spoken to 3 previous staff members saying no to both since we had x-rays at previous visit/state. Rolls her eyes and starts to walk away. I said by the way you never stopped to introduce yourself to me or my daughter. Uh, we're supposed to. Uh, yeah! You didn't. Another girl calls my son from her station. Again doesn't walk a few steps to us to introduce herself. My kids come have a seat after they are done. A Dental Assistant comes talks to me about the visit after waiting 10 minutes. The only reason I know to wait is because I got up to leave and someone not sure who said someone will be with you shortly. Not even sure who is the Dentist? Do they even have one? An assistant tells me both kids have cavities gives me the fee sheet to schedule. Umm, I know I'm new to GA but I work in health care and I am not new to common professionalism and speaking to the doctor. I have never been given information about my kids health or need for procedures by an assistant. I've always had the dentist call me over point out the area of concern and discuss what is needed. . Last week I brought three of my children in. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours, they finally saw my kids. One of my children I was told did not need to have x-rays only to find out after we've been sitting there for 2 1/2 hours that he does need to have x-rays done which caused us to have to wait even longer. I finally get done and I have a conversation with the office manager about my other two children's appointment which was scheduled for today and I was assured they would be no issues. I called ahead today to let them know I'd be running a little bit late because of construction between where my children work and office. Ice finally get to the office after being assured that there wasn't an issue with that only to be told that I would have to reschedule my children. this comes after they called and canceled. My daughters orthodontist appointment that we had scheduled only because I asked for an orthodontist opinion because they didn't have any recommendations for her severely crooked teeth. I do not recommend this office in any way. I can't believe they are a part of dentistry for children. The office and Woodstock was so wonderful and I am so highly frustrated and disappointed. read more

First visit here with my three year old. Was greeted immediately and given paperwork. My appointment was at 9:30 and I arrived at 9:15. I was out of there at 9:55. Everything went smooth and explained very well by everyone. I was a bit worried that the doctor wasn't going to be attentive but she came immediately to check on my daughter. My children have been patients at this location off and on for the last 6-7 years. Each time we go, it has been a different, yet rewarding experience. There is a jungle motif painted all around the lobby of this office. The lobby also has a small arcade, and an indoor tree house. There are also television monitors all around in which a Disney movie usually plays. Although, in recent years, they made the lobby a little bigger, and added an orthodontist, this location still needs to be larger. During our last visit, it was somewhat difficult to find a place to sit in the lobby. We didn't have to wait long before my children were called to the back for X-Rays and cleaning. The back of the building has an ocean motif painted along the walls. This area is small, and the seating is extremely limited. This is what usually happens when my children are called to the back: 1. They stand in a line along a wall to wait to have their X-Rays done. There are two rooms where patients sit for their X-Rays, and another bigger room (I assume its on the orthodontist side) where patients stand for their panoramic X-Rays. 2. Once the X-Rays are done, we are told to go to the other side of the room to wait to be called for the cleaning. There are only two benches for the people to sit and wait. So if there are already a crowd of patients (with parents and siblings) there, you may have to stand the entire time. OR, you may be asked to go back to the front lobby due to the crowd. OR, you (as the parent/guardian) may not be allowed to go to the back at all. The scenario would depend on the situation of the day. In the back, there are several dental chairs in one big room where the patients sit for cleanings once they are called. There is no privacy when cleanings are performed. They do have tv monitors above each chair. 3. Once the cleanings are done, you are asked to wait again for the dentist to examine the teeth and the X-Rays. Once again, there is no privacy here either. The patient is called into another open smaller room that is located behind one of the aforementioned benches. This room has two dental chairs. During our last visit, there was only one visible dentist on staff. Therefore, the dentist had to go back and forth between patients who were getting treatments, and patients who had just finished their cleaning, and needed the exam. 4. Once the dentist finishes the exam, and lets you know the condition of your child's teeth, you are asked to wait at one of the two benches, and wait for a staff member who would walk you back to the lobby. It is at this point you are given the option to wait in the lobby to be called to schedule the next appointment, or you may leave, and call to set up the next appointment at your own convenience. Now, the treatment rooms are private IF you are placed in a treatment room. There is another treatment area that is more open, and less private. The last time my child had treatment done, I was not allowed in the private treatment room with her. I was able to sit just outside of her treatment room. Not quite sure of the reason they would not let me stay in the room with her. Once the patients are finished, they are given a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, and a little toy and/or sticker of their choice. I like this place, but they would definitely benefit with a larger facility, with more seating, especially in the back, and possibly more dentists on staff at one time. read more

Amazing office and staff!!! The only negative is that the treatment area is not very spacious so only one parent was allowed in the back and we have two children, so my hubby did not get to see our LO at her first dentist appt :( otherwise this place is amazing...Really, my kids did not want to leave :)) read more

The kids all get sunglasses to protect their eyes and they have TVs above every work station to keep the kids distracted/entertained. The walls are covered in awesome paintings and the work stations are all in an open concept room. Sounds noisy & cluttered but to be here it is actually the same level of noise you would expect at an adult dental office. The staff in the back are very friendly and informative every step of the way of any issues or pointers for better dental care. The front desk staff....a little cold. No smiles, no eye contact...no smiles . If your little one is a little shy, you can stand right beside the chair or sit on the nice cushioned benches they have along the walls so you can watch from a few feet away. I thought we would be forever going to the back bc the waiting area is full, BUT things moved pretty fast & this was even w me filling out new pt paperwork. If I could give zero stars I would, but had to at least I can give one for one of the hygienist there named Christina. She's wonderful with my daughter each time we've been there! The other staff is horrible!! From the "call center" to the rest of the hygienists there, I've had terrible experiences along with my 5 year old daughter. For you to threaten me about a "broken appointment" due to having a family situation pop up and to remove my child from your practice is beyond ignorant. Need to have compassion and understanding in some situations. Y'all never ever booked my appointments according to what's best for me. For the past 4 going on 5 years now, each appointment has either been a week before or a week after thus scheduled appointment, even when it's been booked at last minute, it's been booked the day before or day after, never day or time of what was requested. This office is highly unorganized and unprofessional. Too many appointments have been made at the same exact time, thus! When my child hears other children screaming at the top of their lungs, it gets my child worked up! All in all, and the list can go on and on, we will NOT be returning to this office whatsoever! Need to step your game up. And then you want to tie my child down because she's crying and wants to leave?! Ha! I've seen news reports about thing that have gone TERRIBLY wrong when that happens! This establishment is very unprofessional, they discuss patients information in front of other patients, while making patients feel uncomfortable. Whitney and some light skinned young lady make fun of patients as if they are not kids although this didn't happen to me I witnessed it happening to other kids. The laughing and side conversations has to stop. Dentist visits are already scary for some kids they don't need to feel attacked while being serviced. I shared this conversation with another parent who witnessed this with me. My kids are always asked in the rudest way "who's paying for this service it that service as if it will come from her pockets. This happened on almost each visit my kids had. I felt like telling the parent was appropriate not the kid. When the parent discusses payments its with the front desk not the dentist assistant. I have no problem with her asking is it okay to perform a service but, to challenge it after it's been said several time yes makes a parent feel as if they are asking for something they can't afford. Whitney has a terrible habit of this as well as telling a kid it's not necessary for extra numbing and almost making fun of the kid as if this is a weakness. She voiced to many other staff members while laughing how she has NEVER seen a child have 2 cavities in 1 tooth, well guess what Whitney, it's a molar that's normal. I will continue to visit the establishment because most of the people there are wonderful but, this girl and her friend should not be working there. My daughter suffers from anxiety issues that she uses gum to calm her down. Whitney said in a sarcastic way " well you need to try sugar free because, I have NEVER heard of 2 cavities in 1 tooth. My child felt the need to disclose this information as Whitney made her feel embarrassed about her tooth. This can't be what the company see's as a good worker. I work in customer service as well and I would be fired already if this is how I treated people. I will post this on all outlets that I can so, she knows what it feels like for someone to make fun of you and embarrass you. Dentistry for children is a great place without this young lady.
