Steve was incredible on my closet/master bedroom redesign! He is very, very detailed in his work - there wasn't anything we noticed wrong, and he used much better quality materials than I expected. It was easy to tell how much pride he takes in his work. Even the minor things were great - he laid down material to keep the floor clean, and covered everything in our bedroom while sanding to avoid getting things dusty, and left a very clean room after. I liked that he pointed out areas where we could save money, like us painting ourselves, and suggested cost-effective solutions to address a few other issues around the house. All in all, the project turned out way better than we expected, from quality of work to interactions with Steve, and living through the work process. I wanted a door reversal. Our laundry room door swung into the tiny room, which made it very cramped. Today Steve came out to give me an estimate on refinishing our stairway banisters and replacing the spindles: what would be a big job. He listened patiently to my ideas of what I thought I wanted. Steve repaired my 20 year old fence when the posts started giving out. He was able to add four posts, in concrete, and it's completely sturdy now, with a warrantee for 10 years. He also re-secured my gate panel to the post. He's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Steve & his helper cleared & weed whacked the area & removed in old chain link fence that was in the way too. Steve and Tyson came to install three toilets at our house. I touched base with Steve a few times before hand and he answered all of my questions before they came. He even offered to pick up the toilets for us! The toilets, it turned out, were the worst. One was a returned franken-toilet that had pieces from different toilets and was missing a bag of parts, and one had an extra lump of ceramic that made it leak. None of this was Steve or Tyson's fault and they bent over backwards fixing a less than ideal situation, making sure to tell us what was happening along the way. They stayed hours later than planned to fix it all and didn't charge an arm and a leg for it knowing it was just Home Depot's blunder. Tyson even made a Home Depot run on our behalf!
